I hope you have a good new year Bill. There was a Reddit post a few months back asking for recommendations for good Aussie youtube dIYers/how to/handyman channels. I said your videos were great and so many others agreed with me. You are a legend and I've learnt so much from watching you.
They seem amazing mate. Would like you to do a weight test if you have the time and are interested. Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos again this year always learn something from you Bill and it’s much appreciated. Hope 2024 is a good year for you and your family. And looking forward to what you can teach us in the new year! Cheers mate
Will depend on how thick the layer of plaster is as the claw would have to go completely into the plaster for it to sit flush . Also carrying capacity may change
Thanks Bill, but I couldn’t see if there was a hook on that fitting, to hold picture wire extra on, or just held frame by frame edging. Could you clarify this for me. Hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful new year, best wishes from Australia
Are you referring to the claw hook or the actual picture frame? The claw hook has a hook on it to hang items onto it. The frames all have some form of mounting feature to attach it to the hook
Nice to know about them. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for Cement Sheet walls? 🤷♂ Been using the Wall Mates but they are messy and the walls are only 6mm thick so not as much purchase as with the 12mm plasterboard.
Best of anchoring into a stud as cement board is thin and has more flex in it. There are a few other options depending on how much weight it needs to carry
Weight test would be good. I'd also like to see how secure these are if the item hung on them is bumped or knocked, because you pulled that out a little too easily IMO.
Hey mate personal opinion we have a haul way mirror we want to hang it’s currently on the ground and it weighs 14kgs which has 4 hook points on it already I only down side there’s no studs available to mount it to. Would these hooks be ok cause I no you can get bigger kg ones available ? Cheers mate

Thank you very much, I appreciate it and hope there are plenty more helpful videos to come👍👍👍
To avoid wasting viewers' time, you should state at the beginning that this is not applicable to solid masonry walls.
Wow, love this. Thank you for sharing Bill. I cant wait to use these
Great learning about this. I had no idea this was an option.
Excellent product. Thanks for sharing 😊
Same as yourself I love my wall-mate anchors.
But have been finding myself use these a lot more for lighter frames 👌
Yet another great video Bill, much love my friend and a happy new year 🎉.

@billshowto No worries, yeah, I'm not sure of the thickness, Thanks for the reply.
Doesn't work on plaster.
I just used 2 of the 20kg claws for a round 15kg mirror. 🤞🏼it holds like it says.
👍
Can u suggest something to use on brick walls

This is great for my needs. Where is the product available from?
Links in the description and Most hardware stores also sell them 👍

Better safe than sorry. I would use two of the higher rated clips to ensure no issues.
Thanks mate appreciate the advise thought that may be the case I was gonna use the 30kg hangers
Sorry, what kind of a wall is this???
Plasterboard. Also known as drywall, Sheetrock and gyprok 👍
Do they work on cement?
Only plasterboard 👍
These claws are crazy expensive in Ireland. Pack of 2 is more than 20euro haha. No way
