This was a really good tutorial. You covered all the little things someone would need to know and I feel a lot better about trying to install D-rings on some of my picture frames after watching this.
@@JoelAndersonArt Hmmm... but in that video you show installing D rings on the back of a frame. So which one is right? My logic tells me that if you install D ring on the front of the floater frame, the thickness of the D ring will make the picture wobble. And when you crew the picture to the frame, the stretcher might get distorted. Or am I wrong? Please advise. Thank you.

Tank You. The most complete and easy to follow of the four instructions I have watched.

After we've attached the wire, the wall installation will require a single nail? or hook?
Good info but even with volume turned up very hard to hear you without earbuds
Sorry. I went to a different method of recording audio in later videos.
How would I attach a hanger on the back of a mirror that is unframed, not for a bathroom. Will be an art piece.
I have no experience with that, sorry. Some sort of glue or cement would be involved, my guess.
you mount your d rings on the inside of your floater??? I've always done back outside....guess I've been wrong for a long time :(
Sorry, I meant: helpful of course...!😂
Sorry, this seems wrong. I would like to see you mount the actual painting or photo on top of where you just put the D rings.
You can see that in my other video "Float Frame Mounting Tips For A Professional Look".

The D rings are installed on the back of the frame. The painting mounts on the front side.
