IMPORTANT!!!...be sure to unloop the wire from its container and straighten it before trying to feed it through the "eyes". If not, it will cross over itself, kink, and possibly fracture some of the wire strands when you try to work with it!!!

If your wall is damp don’t risk ruining artwork by hanging anything on it. Small pieces of felt will not make any difference to this, damp walls are very persistent.I’m an artist and have never seen anyone use these professionally when preparing artwork to hang in an exhibition or to sell. No expense is spared when framing artwork as the cost is built into the artwork price, so the cost of 2 felt circles would not be an issue, if they were indeed that useful. It’s also better for small/medium size artwork to pass the wire or string through the first eyelet, double back to the next eyelet and then tie off at this next/second eyelet.

I’m hanging drawings in pictures frames in an art exhibition this Thursday for the first time but don’t know how to prepare the picture frames to hang! They already come with sawtooth hangers on the backs of the frames but I keep reading about using hanging wire?
