I've been having vestibular issues since march of 2018. I'm much much better than I was thank God but I still have my struggles, I don't drive far on the highway because of it. I got to about 21 seconds on this and had to stop. Does anybody here have a definitive diagnosis? I've had bppv a few times but the only thing one out of the 5 drs I saw mentioned was vestibular decomposition. I do my best and keep hoping for 100 percent recovery in time.
We did it together! I try to distract my anxiety seeing beauty in the skyline, etc. I drive in silence but find that a distraction like talking on speaker phone or singing a song helps me too. I feel ok when moving if I watch my head movements and let in my peripheral vision to help but I feel dizzy and like my brain is spinning when the car stops? Do you feel this way? Love to you
Interesting you say you feel your head spinning when the car stops. I get this very badly. I also get it if I am walking and then stop. I usually feel better once in constant motion or moving more quickly where as small movements are hard for me.
@@r4tgl I don't and thats what makes it that more frustrating. I feel like I am loosing my mind. I have seen 2 ENT's and they say my inner ear is fine. I have had head MRI which was clear. The waiting list for a neurologist is 2 more years. It is unreal. I have had this for 2 years, daily symptoms. Like I said I can feel ok it a steady movement but a small movement like from my head and I will get super dizzy. I also get this feeling of a delay when I move by head, like my eyes don't catch up with my brain. Does anyone else get this? :(
Yep
The fog would bother me, but slowly exposing myself has helped. Does it bother you?
Yes fog triggers me for sure because I'm not used to seeing it very often but just like you said exposing ourselves to everything will help heal us :)

Lynn or Desiree or anyone here, do you have a definitive diagnosis? I have the exact same issue.

Wow that was difficult could barely make it to one minute in
Yep and if you stopped after that one minute you did the right thing… It’s exposing, stopping, coming down from the symptoms
@@newlifesparrow yes I stopped and waited for symptoms to stop are you finding exposure like this to be helping you?
Didn’t hear you at all.
This one I did not speak in… It was more training for people with the visual issues and the overstimulation. Helping to retrain the brain
