I have the same car and have been researching car conversion, AND I have a cat at a friend's that I wanna bring with me this is so motivating to see someone with the same mindset! ♡
I love Meowsers. I love cats. I inherited a calico cat from the divorce. I was never a cat person. But Callie (short for Calico) is my best friend now. She and I are very close. She follows me everywhere I go, even to the bathroom lol. She sneaks into some of my videos occasionally. She always sleeps with me, the last few months she waits for me to lay down, then she lays down on top of me lol. Occasionally I'll take a nap in the daytime and she does it then too. I really enjoy your videos Rowan. I watch 4 or 5 a day. I do not comment on them all though. And...... I always let the ads run full length, hoping by doing so you get a big check from RUclips.
I don't know if I told you yeah I'm a fairly new subscriber I live in a studio in Montclair Southern California I have three cats I'm very very clean you can't even tell I have three cats in my studio but that's the only thing I don't know how I would do on the road with my cats but anyways oh yeah cats are petrified usually because I guess they think they're that you're taking them to the vet or you're taking them and dumping them off somewhere but anyways yeah your cat is very cute
Seeing that 😺 wander around like that was terrifying.....especially as she's an indoor kitty. She should be in a harness and lead in case she gets spooked or decides to chase a squirrel....up a tree😮. She seems like a super travel buddy though 😊...I woukd get those window vents and a car-window fan too so the air keeps circulating.....4 her, and YOU too. Happy Travels 2u both.
Put her on a leach or lite cable that you can let her out but not loose her, she will climb trees or chase other small animals….do yourself a favor and get her one and make her wear it….
If you put your food in small plastic totes with lids that might help the rodent situation. It's easier for them to get to your food cause they can smell it better

She is looking at you like, you are bigger than me you get them, she is adorable. The nomads I know say you have to find out how they are getting in and fix it. I can tell you if they get under your hood, they can cost thousands in wire repair. It cost me over five thousand dollars from mice and squirrels eating my wires. Nice video girl let in your little kitty adventure. It was very beautiful around there. Yeah I put her in a harness and not a long leash and get some stuff so she doesn’t get no fleas or ticks or anything out in the elements. You’re great.
I am not car camping yet, but I'm practicing at home. I've been wiping dishes down as i go, and leave it all in a bowl, then at the end of the day i spray it all down with diluted rubbing alcohol that i keep in a spray bottle. Some people used diluted vinegar...
I've seen a few lifers with cats and hope to try it when I get my wheels. Important things to get for your cat is a good harness and a GPS tracker. If your baby isn't chipped yet, it might be another good idea. Keep an eye out for prey animals, hawks and wolves would love to snatch up a fur baby. Looking forawrd to seeing more!
So sorry itsbeen 2 years since I lost my first cat (not my child's cat but MY own cat). He came to me after my daughter left for college. He belonged to my neighbor but he snuck over to my house so much, she gifted him to me. Sorry to go into big long story. He was a special boy. I miss him still but have 5 others now lol
I’m sorry about your cat. I don’t currently have my cat with me because I didn’t feel ready to have her along, especially with doordashing and not knowing what all my plans would be. But I miss her!! I completely understand the feeling of missing a cat! 💖

This is how Cats go missing, when not expected they BoLt when there is a chance sadly. Not all but jst a precaution. I see this in many videos - not saying yours will but always a 50% chance & they would get distracted by something. PLs don't be upset I post. Jst I seen many Lost trying to do videos w Cats or dogs.
Still enjoying watching your videos. I do recommend Ohio and Michigan, especially Northern and Upper Peninsula Michigan for your car trips. You will not be disappointed. The UP has state parks with awesome waterfalls
It can be used for both! The coffee grounds are a bit messy to clean out, but then again so is the loose leaf tea. Lately I’ve been using three or four tea bags in the strainer to make a strong black tea.
I mean I lived in Sacramento California and I had a senior cat and I took her with me and she did fine for the drive you know from Sacramento to Southern Cal so I mean I don't know how my current cats would do living in a vehicle
I have a small igloo cooler that I fill with ice or bags of frozen veggies when the weather is warmer. Right now where I am it’s really cold so I’m not really using it. I usually use bathrooms in a store or restaurant but I also go to the ymca or a recreation center for showers and washing up.
I have to watch all your videos now because I live in my car full time and today a cat in a forest asked me to help her and be her friend. That was some hours ago and she’s sleeping on my lap now and I don’t know what to do. Help!

Hi! This video was a test run with my cat. She did well at first but then got scared and hid under the mattress- not just the blankets but the whole mattress! Also when we were at the campground she wanted to get out and explore and she wandered kind of far at one point. I think if you have the time to leash train her it could work, but I would definitely recommend doing that before having her full time in the car. It sounds like she enjoys her outdoor adventures! My cat is happy and well, and is with my son until I have a little more living space. I wish you all the best with making it work one way or another!
Question why do I often see car campers travel with their animals loose in their car? You tie up your stuff when you drive? or put a child in the appropiate car seat? so they wont fly around when you hit the breaks. Why arent you doing this with your cat?
You should have had a leash on her she's never been outside before and if God forbid she would hear a noise that would freak out she would run so that wasn't too smart
