I'm on my 3rd vanlife winter on the south west coast of Florida..Sarasota area.... so many beaches here and the parking is free .. pretty van life friendly as well..
I transitioned from living on my boat at anchor to car camping in Hawaii. Always be alert of surroundings and listen to your gut instincts. Happy trails!

Hi Rowan, I haven’t been to many destinations in my life, however I did tag along with my husband when he had to go Alpharetta Georgia for business. It was so pretty and green there. The Georgians were filled with such warm beautiful personalities. Most hospitable people I have ever met in my life. One of the many experiences we had was when we went to a restaurant this waitress literally sat with us during our meal and when we left she gave us a hug and walked us out the door, she stood there outside waiving goodbye as are rented car disappeared into the night. I loved her sweet charm and stories about Georgia. She made us feel like family. Everyone there is so kind and generous treating us like family. These people touched my heart so deeply that I didn’t want to leave Georgia. I cried when I left Georgia. Anyways, happy and safe travels Rowan. Thanks for the ride. 💛 From Northern California

Plan a trip to Assateague! There is a state park campground and a national park campground! I prefer the state park side, guaranteed to see the wild horses

There are no wild horses on Ocracoke, the are north in Coralla in Carnival. Lots of campgrounds close up in November/December because the winters can be nasty. We have a spot in Manteo but they don't allow car campers. Come back to OBX in April or September/October 😊
Ive been taking my 24 year old van to take 5 for 3 years. 115$ a bit expensive but they do a good job...plus you can go back for a free check and top up. Florida
If you can, go to Ocracoke Island sometime. I spent part of a summer there with my family in the 1970s. It’s got a lot of history, particularly pirate 🏴☠️ history!

I love the free water and their checking tire pressure and fluid levels. Cinnamon rolls and Savannah looked amazing! I love the Riverwalk. Stay safe and keep growing. ❤

Cinnamon roll dough is a sweet dough so you may want to get a non flavored pizza dough and add a bit of sweetener. I would also soften the ghee with your hands and spread it on first. Not bad for a first attempt though.
I've always wondered if drivers like cash tips over in app tips? I figure it's out of the "system" so therefore worth more but I suppose it's more dangerous to carry cash around? you've made me want cinnamon rolls now, :-) I rub the butter into the cinnamon and sugar to get a better distribution. If you wet your knife each time you slice dough it will slice nicer & easier & you knife won't stick on it. Get the spray can of Guee. It's fantastik & easier also.
Grey water can be dumped anywhere. People try not to pour over plants or grass if it has any caustic stuff in it. If it's biodegradable they will dump anywhere.
I'm going to try your cinnamon roll recipe, it looks super simple! Some apple in there too! If your grey water has only biodegradable cleaner in it should it be ok to water a drain with it?
Hi Rowan, I am so glad that you are "chasing warmth". With me being a born and raised southerner, please make sure where ever you hold down for a while here in the south, which I think may be Florida, make sure you read this history of the area weather wise. That will save you a lot of heartache. The coast here in N.C. is always having bad weather. That's why I sold my house on the beach here years ago and moved inland. Just too much to deal with.

Now that i have my curtains i feel like they draw attention to the car so when parked in places where there is foot traffic, do you put up your covers up? Hope this question makes sense
Hi! I keep the window covers up all the time but I open up the curtain behind the front seats during day, unless I’m hanging out in the back. It took a little getting used to driving with the covers up but it’s kind of like driving a cargo van or something- I just stay aware of the traffic around me and check the mirrors often. Having a little tint on the windows helps but my Honda doesn’t have any tint in the front and with the curtain open it still is pretty stealthy.

You didn't do the dough right. It was too wet, not kneaded enough and you needed to leave it to prove and knock it back. Make the brown sugar, butter and cinnamon into a paste. Oil the pan put baking paper in the pan, butter the paper then bake in the pan. You could get a pizza plate from a target shop and place that in the pan.

Put some brown sugar butter and nuts in your pan and a mix pour in over and try that

Personally I wouldn't use olive oil in a sweet recipe. It's quite strongly flavoured.
