Your intro is too long. I think you should get to the point a little faster. Oh, and it seems to be a click bait title too. There was like 2 sentences in the whole video about being more attractive and charming. Its a good video. People will be angry if they feel like you brought them here with a lie though.

9:05; thank you for such useful and empowering info. I am used to being so 'ashamed' of the times when my behavior has been neurotic or hypervigilant. This convo makes it feel more normalized, and just something to be managed individually and more understandable in relationships.

  • @juliannasaari8666

I used to have high neuroticism but I realized my worry or panic does not affect the outcome and I practiced to react differently, more calm and think about problems and solutions, so I think some people can change their chemistry. I also don’t think someone would strive to have high neuroticism.

The reason why the Golden Rule has survived for so long throughout the course of recorded human history is because it works for any situation. It's because it forces you to place yourself in another persons shoes without even knowing them. The Platinum rule can only work if you have a standing relationship with someone.

The farce is that you need a neurotic person to help worry about things and this help prevent it. The takeaway here is that you can find people who are BALANCED individuals that help those who dont usually prepare enough (backup plan etc) that ARENT neurotic and dont take away your peace.
Your peace is so undervalued and critically important. Dont ever let anyone take that from you.

I am preparing for USMLE and matching. As a non US international medical applicant, the examination part doesn't scare me. What scares me is the interview part.
US people talk in a very unnatural way! Now, common people may talk normally, idk, but watching or listening to these podcasts, i am like, "who talks like that?" And why the fake smile?
How can "can you believe it!?" be considered as a natural response to "so you are here for the 3rd time..."? How?
And I have seen many videos on how to prepare for an interview, US specific, on one hand they say, "just be yourself" while on the other hand they keep telling us, "smile... be chirpy..." wtf?
Anyway, coming back to how an american interview goes... the responses are not natural! Why?
I am a yes/no guy, I cannot fake smile! And that American fake smile is creepy AF! And the body language too... I don't understand.
