Is there a setting on the snoo where it slowly de-escalates to being still if the baby is asleep?

You clearly don’t have kids or you have perfect unicorns who sleep through the night from day one. For some people few hours of sleep is priceless and will gladly pay this to achieve it. Not to mention, you can buy the Snoo secondhand and sell it for nearly the same amount.
I bought one because my husband is deployed and will be for the first half year of our baby’s life. I will be parenting alone on top of going back to work, so if this infant care tool give us both more sleep, then I think it will be well worth the money

Nope. Never in a million years will I restrict my baby from moving naturally.
Don’t be pregnant then. 🙏 Hard for them to move freely in utero.
Swaddling is a pretty universal thing and keeps your baby safe and comfortable. You should perhaps read about it instead of assuming you know it all 🙏
