@@TheFossilBloodOfTheMoon IKR !? 17:30 is when it's ok to stop listening.
Put her on a pedestal and she never disappoints!
This deserves more love than it’s getting! 😂🤙
Tell her shes exceptional, I promise she'll exploit you!!🔥🍻
I see what you did there!
Give her all your money and she'll make some of origami!
I love tour músic🥰
I hope Courtney and Stella (seen here on the drums) continue to collaborate. Courtney is an amazing songwriter-producer-performer. Stella is an ace producer of multiple artists and is the drummer in Warpaint.
Such a nice surprise to see Stella as well
Omg Stella!
Seeing musicians smile and enjoy themselves while playing 🔥🔥🔥
How can you possibly make the experience of hearing Courtney Barnett better? By having her collaborate with the equally amazing Stella Mozgawa, that’s how. Stella’s influence on this album and performance is both profound and inspired.
p sure they're dating ngl
I always appreciate honest music. Would love to see this band live.
One of the best songwriters today.
Wow Courtney Barnett and Stella! One reason more to love the new album!
I thought that was Stella from Warpaint! Thanks for confirming ;)
Stella's drumming technic is iconic!
I was just coming on here to say that. It's Stella from Warpaint!!
@@carlp3214 I'm a huge Warpaint fan too!
"Iconic?" What, is English your second language? Get a thesaurus/learn a new word. I'm embarrassed for you.
@@Robaatosensei perhaps you mean "what, is English your second language?", sensei.
She's quite similar to her regular drummer it seems so a good fit for a standin!
That solo on Turning Green was pure joy to hear! There is something magical about Courtney. One can really feel that she is here to birth creation into existence.
Drummer = warpaint I love her
Stella!
Every one of these people are amazing beyond words!!
CB is just so excellent.
I remember someone telling me these songs would feel amazing live after I commented that I felt it was her weakest album till date. They were absolutely spot on. This was as good as any of her past performances which is saying a lot given the exceptionally high bar she has set. Never been happier to be proved wrong!
I had a similar experience. I initially felt the album was good but not great, and definitely her weakest. Then I saw her live...something clicked and now I can't stop listening to the album!
thats the magic of kexp
Aussie talent and unpretentiousness on display. So refreshing in the music industry and life.
Stella is stella!
Just came back from Courtney's gig in Paradiso, Amsterdam: it was awesome and now I'm cooling down while listening to this one. Happy birthday and many thanks for a great evening again, Courtney!
I can't help it, but I love this young lady.
awesome drumming on Sunfair Sundown!
I'm going to her concert today and I've never been so excited!!
Songs:
0:38 Rae Street
5:03 Sunfair Sundown
8:01 Before You Gotta Go
12:08 Turning Green
Good stuff. I had never heard of her until a local radio station here in Savannah Ga. played one of her songs. She reminds of Lucinda Williams.
🌻 I love her
…and KEXP
@@JohnSmith-nf8bi CB on KEXP, the only more iconic duo is CB and Kurt Vile.
Stellaaaaa
Amazing Jam at the end of “Turning Green”.
Greetings from México.
CB is incredibly creative with her songs, always a pleasure
Stella
CB is a really cool artists. Her lyrics are simple and it just hits you. Thank you for your music.
I love Turning Green, especially the outro. Every album is great, never disappointing.
Absolutely love her music, so happy to see this.
This is a listening masterpiece. Many thanks Courtney.
What a wonderful to start 2022!
Love her so much. Such a good vibe!
There's blues and introspection in her work. I would love for her to work with Kurt Vile again. Love the cowbell in Turning Green - adds a splash of personality to the piece, and the soulful, almost grungy, licks near the outro are so satisfying to listen. I am also glad that she getting better at incorporating melody in the verses she writes recently.
STELLA!!
Courtney and Stella in one band
These have been a delightful reprieve in the midst of quarantine. So glad to live nearby and support such a great program and great artists!
Amazing performance as usual.
Great performance!
Such a humble and unique style.
Many thanks KEXP I've really enjoyed this edition. Courtney Barnett and co delivered a wonderful performance here, and I'd only heard one song previously. I shall order a copy of Things Take Time, Take Time today. Thanks Everyone.

Beautiful vocals and style. Love it
YEAH!!!! Good to have them back!!
That was some proper cowbell.
Gotta say, Before You Gotta Go was my favorite, but the guitar at the end was great.
This is awesome 🎸 🎵 ♥️
nunca falla 💜
Yeah, I don't know Courtney from another stranger, but I've always loved what she has given us in her music and her band's performances, as well. Just adore everything they do and this isn't any different, simply ever-fresh.
Amazing line Up!
Great new album! Wish they'd played Make a List of Things to Look Forward To...love that rocker!

So beautiful
I can't wait to see the band with Dave and Stella. That's going to be something amazing. Forget about the drum machine, Dave is a human one. :)
Saw the start of the tour in Oakland, It was a lovely night. They were amazing.
@@OaktownBman Is Dave is still in the band? Is Courtney using two drummers?
Stella was the drummer.
Going to see her yet again this weekend in Atlanta!
Turning Green is soooo good
She cuts through the mediocrity of current music with her poetic unpretnious approach.Love her
steeeeeeeeella!!!
Wow, that Turning Green jam is great. Love the punky noise rock edge on it. Shades of 2015.
like a breath of fresh air :) and no, i haven't even started watching
purely beautiful
Hi Cheryl, so good to see you.
lindas cançoes
I love the stripped down country feel, perfect for her.
Hope to see her in February in Toronto
Saw them live at the Paramount Theater, they were amazing!
A truly lovely sound with Courtney and Stella Mozgawa reminds of a female version of Charlie Watts with bass thumping by Bones Sloane on that Mustang Fender is SO Bloody soothing - they all seem like old souls playing @ 432 hz music.
YASSSS!!!!
Beautiful jazzmaster. Nice binding, humbuckers and very cool sound.
It's a Kurt Cobain signature Jaguar :)
@@fpsknifer9906 Thanks...now I want one
Очень атмосферная и тёплая музыка ^^
I heard of Courtney through Kurt Vile and so glad.
