i showed my lady this band by playing the album Nocturne without telling her anything about them and she thought they were from the 80's and that the album had really great sound production.
This is in my opinion the best wild nothing concert ever. The sound, the view of the place, the band just becoming more known to everyone. Not to mention their youth and energy. I always come back to this
That sound is all the doing of Jack Tatum. He plays every instrument in the recording studio. For onstage performances he brings in other musicians to duplicate that original sound.
Its about a guy trapped in a toxic relationship. He pretends she's perfect and ignores all the red flags of how it's harming him and pretends they don't exist despite it being obvious to everyone else, who do their best to warn him. "Misunderstood, yeah she's good, I can tell. Though everyone tells me I'm under her spell." In the end, he chooses to stay with her, possibly out of loneliness, as "it's better to fake than to love her for real." Due to how bad they are for each other, loving her for real means leaving. This whole song is full of of inner conflict, and in the end, only Heather can make him feel that way. The music video is just making a point that the guy's oblivious to a fatal and dangerous wound that everyone else can see, but that he chooses to ignore. (Namely a sword in his chest.)
I really like their sound. A lot of 80's influence in their music...from Clan of Xymox to The Ocean Blue...and maybe a touch of Cocteau Twins. Thanks for the great music!!!
Wild Nothing brings me the scent of a sunshiny autumn, the peace and calm of a long highway trip with wind in my hair... and takes me to another world with no problems... Thank you guys for the peace of mind! ♥♥♥
I've watched this concert or had it on in the background many times now. Shades of The Cure and at times even Fleetwood Mac. This is really good music! Thanks to Wild Nothing - may they continue on and continue evolving.
Superb performance. Very talented musicians and boy does it show! Congratulations also for the superbly shot film with great sound. A real gem all round! Thank You for posting!
This band is so amazing, and absolute life saver for these rough times. I wish I could listen nonstop. Love love love this sound! Keep rocking Wild Nothing!

What a great band, I discovered them 2 weeks ago, they played a cover of The Wake (factory Records UK) and they sounded in the same mood as one of my favorite bands from the 80ties. Love them, I'll check them live in June in Amsterdam, The Netherlands!
This crowd really isn't appreciating how good this was. They where so lucky to be here for them at their height
I just was them this week and they blow my mind since the first chord
Nocturne is absolutely my favorite album of 2010-2020. Just gorgeous, and instant classic.
On my desert island list
Yes I agree. I listen to it in steady rotation even today.
Wish i was here ... Only listener from Nigeria 🇳🇬💚🎧
The music of Wild Nothing sounds like it's 1985 all over again.

Only Heather is amazing
Yep, its a good song. I didn't feel the video they did for it.
Memo Riza you're right about that! The video was just weird.

This is my favorite band of today. It seems like they don't have a bad song. I just wished they played "My Angel Lonely"
