It's not a huge genre. I love them, twin shadow, small black, etc. They're all great.Funny enough a game GTA5 had a chillwave station sort of.

Oh my Gosh! That bass sound fantastic. Really, I think they have a big influence from New Order. Perhaps that's why they sound so awesome
Andrelo Efe every band that remotely sounds like this does. Especially the bass tone. Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) accidentally invented that bass sound.
This is some of the best music I have ever heard and oh my god that bass tone is just amazing.

Thank you KEXP and Wild Nothing! Great album, great performance. Enjoyed watching this performance and it makes me remember the MFNW 2012 show at Ted's Berbati in Portland. One of my favorite days, seeing Wild Nothing follow Mac Demarco, DIIV, and The Soft Moon.

They remind me a lot of New Order, especially in the early days.
Keyboard riff on this is Age of Consent almost note by note.
This is absolutely beautiful. They play so well I can barely tell the difference between the album and live. "She is so lovely she makes me feel high" might as well be talking about the music here.
Nocturne is my favorite album of the year. (of the 50+ 2012 albums I have listened to this year). Keep it up guys!

Leonardo uribe lopez there's a lot of bands nowadays with the 80s /90s sound. Grew up in that Era so it sounds familiar but not in a bad way! This is definitely a 3rd "golden age" for indie music
