Live in Illinois for a few years. You'll then have a better appreciation of Indiana.

At least they don't allow Mansion Maxi-Pad Waters the privilege of representing a di6she doesn't live in regardless of both the Constitution and the LAW.

I really hope the Anderson pool gets saved because we had one just like it in my hometown of Greenfield where I spent many of happy Summers and now it's gone

Times are changing.. young then old... then forgotten... Sad.... What's really sad is We all could be United,,, and we all could have faith in each other and work together for the best of the other.... We The People Of God Have it All right here right now but yet we just go along... day by day and year by year... wasting time We just don't have... We can control Time and bring it to a stop... then no more fear and Worries.... Love is the only way out....with no-one left behind.. all for one and one for All... Love is Grand

Someone needs to restore the historic Alhambra Theatre in the Haynie's Corner Arts District in Evansville Indiana. It's beautiful on the outside but dilapidated inside. I hope someone can save it before it's too late.

Sometimes stuff just gets old. Fixing it means you fixed something old and now you need a steady stream of money to maintain it.

It would be nice to see some of Indiana's history saved. its a shame to see it ignored when there is money to make it happen.

They need to go before the historical society and see if they can preserve theses historical places I'm from Indiana

The Harmony bridge has another problem. Illinois took out another bridge and closed the road further down.

Your comments about the Flanner home district reveal your policial motives. We shouldn't preserve a structure because of prior history with a race, gender, religious or political belief. Sure... Erect a sign, like the thousand other historic place signs in Indiana. But your agruement isn't based on the reality of most Hoosiers.

This isn't an isolated case. There are bridges and overpasses throughout the land that are not only substandard, they should have been closed to traffic 2 decades ago. Of course none of what I say will matter the day of death & disaster on those structures. All you can do is pray it's not your loved ones crossing that bridge when it gave in to gravity.

Walkerton Church is near the elementary school that I went to a few years back. I think it still might be up though!

Khaotic Kitten you better go and check to see if that historic church is still up because urban renewal bulldozers can come in and demolish and completely clear it out in no time.

If you grew up around Elwood, Alexandria or Franklin most of the history has been demolished.it now a very very low income place with nothing there.by 2022 it might as well be a ghost towns.

Captain MufDyven I've lived there, but now I live in California.
You want to know why I hate Indiana? Let's start with the prevalence of teen pregnancies, let's move on to the Draconian marijuana laws while opiates both prescribed and bought on the street ravage the state, let's move on to the uneducated masses that enable these things to happen by consistently voting against their own self interests and finally, let's move on to the Confederate flag waving racists that populate the state.
      And your weather sucks too.
