I love how the builds always accommodate fashion. The drip > optimization
Fashion Souls is a thing like always 🙂
Always. I will take style over +3 strength or more physical damage negation any day
Imagine playing as samurai with Knight Armor set 😂@@SuavementeMemes
Bonk but in cursive is my new favorite way to describe this. Thanks for the cool build!
Next month is finally the release of Shadow of the Erdtree.
Every inch of my body shivered at that statement 🫨🥹
Wait what??? I thought it wa 2 months? July not june right?
@@TimothyGod it's june 21
It can't be here yet I don't have the money saved
@@deeras2183 I must be dyslexic, cause I swore I saw July and was bummed it was still so far
I definitely like this fire build! Basically a spellblade, but with fire. I like being on the fence between ranged spells and charging in à la Leeroy Jenkins, and strategizing accordingly.
Keep these great builds coming as often as you can!
same, it's nice to have some magic/incant options besides of just bonking things
You're not a proper Tank without a big gun. 😎👍
I made some adjustments but, you can use the fire prelate legs which are covered by your robes to breach the 51 poise breakpoint without the bullgoats talisman. this freed up a talisman slot, got my endurance down to 21, put a few more points in faith to hit 70 and then 52 vigor. This way, starting as a prophet you get rl 150 with 52 vigor, 35 mind, 21 end, 24 str, 10 dex, 7 int, 70 fth, 10 arc. Shouldn't affect the build at all other than lowering max level a bit and freeing the talisman with increased incantation scaling. I chose flock's canvas talisman to boost the flame of the fell god opener. godslayer's seal has great scaling however the giant's seal might benefit that incantation the best.
this was helpful
Man I'd love to see daggers next as well as what new build that video could inspire! Looking forward to it!
Haven't see an elden ring build for long time happy to see it thank you fextralife
Babe wake up, new Elden Ring video
I love watching your build guides. I generally tend to use the general idea of them but then add my own spin on it. But this one looks like one I might try without altering to much as it looks great!
holy shit, i fkn love your video’s but i couldn’t find the perfect one so i watched the greathammers video and fell in love with the curved greatclub. I just to look for things to do with this build but found it hard to find witch spells to use and witch statsspread etc. I am just so amazed that the perfect video came up for this. Keep up the great work you are killing it ❤
Just made this build and it’s a lot of fun! Thank you!
This armour set up is sick AF, dude!
Excellent build, definitely going to try this out.
Love your builds. I love trying them. This is my favorite build right now. I'm having so much fun burning everything to the ground. Currently level 119.
Another great video thanks again.
Going to use this next run, great build!
Man I love these videos can't wait for the dlc 🖤
This is a great build and I can dive a bit more into the clubs for variety. Defiantly going to use this
Curved greatclub is so much fun when set magic using waves of darkness as the ash of war!
The sphere or “ball” of energy that waves of darkness generates is within the curve of the club, like it’s a wand. highly recommended
Especially bc the base damage makes magic infusion very strong *and* waves of darkness scales based on intelligence
I swear i was just watching some of your new game plus playlist till i saw this video and i was like i don't remember seeing this one here 😅
Bro I’ve been using this build the whole time. Finally it has been recognized
your guides and level of knowledge has benefited us.
Thank you so much, appreciate the support!
love these guides!
This is almost exactly the build I've been wanting to make: two hander using fire magic. Only difference is I was wanting to include black flame as well. I think I can take this concept though and do minor adjustments to pull that off. Good stuff.
This is an awesome build. I’m using my Claymore. Flame of the Fell God is fantastic. I also picked up the Bull Goat’s Talisman. I can’t wait for Shadow of the Erdtree.
After realizing I needed strike damage to diversify my attacks I decided also to bonk in cursive.
I think a good substitute for the bull goat talisman is Godfrey icon, for those that want to lean more into the pyromancy and deal more damage at range
Sick build!
Yay more fextralife videos I actually started watching this guy back when salt and sanctuary came out cause around the time I couldn't find anything also I'm so ready for the dlc I hope everyone has a Good day God bless you all and may his son Jesus Christ be with you as well.
I’d like to see Daggers done, I have only done early game with a Bandit character, haven’t finished a playthrough with him, but I’d love to see the types of things I COULD do with him if I decide to play through the whole way
Woop woop, the Elden Ring Hype Train is rolling again
I know its not optimizeable. But id love a purfumer build. They seem so interesting and they have buff items. I just wish i knew how to make any of it work
Looks like for melee weapon catagories you only have daggers, fists, and claws to go. I think fists hit the highest cool factor for me, but daggers definitely have the most weapon variety...
...nah, who are we kidding. "TORCHES are the BEST weapon in Elden Ring" next, please.
This might sound bit funny but sins you said the look doesnt matter i would maybe turn this into a *ghostrider* build
Wear ensha's mask as the skull and then some black armor with it. And maybe the fire giant whip as a late game backup (it isnt heavy)
Idea behind the ghost rider is they can pick what ever weapon they want and infuse it with hellfire. Or in this case with your main spell "fell fire" thx for the build
I love the content. Any chance you could create a build that incorporates the partisan spear?
I love how this build is basically like the pyromancer build but it has bonk (in cursive)
Daggers would be very cool weapon class to cover.
Would love to see a dagger build, maybe even something that incorporates some rogue throwing weapon elements into it in light of what the dlc trailer shows. Kinda that elusive damage dealer that slips over attacks ( or under) while dishing out bursts of damage here and there.
This is very similar to the build I'm running now, but Iron Greatsword w/ Sword Dance AoW. I have a Claymore with Flaming Strike, and Morning Star with Sacred Blade for co-op. So much fun!
oh yeah spicy hammer time
You definitely missed out on the opportunity to show us an optimized build for the Great club, a VERY OP weapon. I did a playthrough with it and was VERY surprised at how OP it was. In fact, I was planning on doing a Str+Fai blasphemous blade playthrough but literally changed my mind to use this weapon instead once I realized how fun it is for a Str/Fai setup.
It is found relatively early in the game, and is extremely powerful for many reasons. Although it upgrades with regular smithing stones, it's ash of war (golden land) can't be changed. Like the other weapon in this game with this trait (Serpentbone blade) it's ash of war is extremely good so you don't need to change it.
Golden Land thrust the club in a downward stamp type attack, which will do a good chunk of physical damage and stagger buildup if it connects, which is easy to do with the great club's massive hitboxes. Then after a short delay there's and an explosion (AOE holy damage, tons of stagger buildup) THEN come the lock on holy projectiles that, despite being holy, do MASSIVE damage. So ultimately it's a three stage attack that does insane damage overall.
Then, the projectiles will also do status buildup if you have something like freezing Grease or Bloodflame Blade, and have range similar to Loretta's greatbow😂
So how much FP does it take for this entire 3 stage attack do you ask? 20? 30? 35?
12. 12 FP for an attack that trivializes the game. OP is an understatement 😂😂😂
This weapon definitely deserves a try.
Claw wepon class video next would be awesome!!!
I would love to see a multiple status effect build 🙌🏻
I was about to respec my Character. But this Build Will fit Perfectly
Wow that Curved Great Club looks epic. It's almost bigger than the character! lol.
Bonk but in cursive is a lmao
I made a similar build but with a flame art nagakiba and it was awesome
With these builds and the weapon videos in general, I'm always a bit curious with the flame art/flame/lightning/magic. I feel like the fairest comparison would be with either a grease or a spell buff to the more basic infusions. I wonder how flameart would compare to heavy or something with the burning weapon spell.
Bro somehow made the curved great club look good, respect
I'm trying to re-adapt your Warrior Wizard build myself. But this is definitely one of the builds I'm going to try after that.
Edit: had never played a mage before so it's pretty new to me.
As for dagger builds, maybe lightning slash or sacred blade, as fire with erdsteel and reduvias/bleed have been overdone and they mix well with their own elemental infusions and you could even do both even if you focus on lightning damage as sacred can still maintain strong holy firepower without a sacred infusion.. Would probably opt for a misericorde for the range and crit and ivory sickle for range and block penetration on offhand. Won't be the highest dps i don't think but still good utility due to slash having good stance damage, undead deletion and two ranged aows with different elements and can be converted to spell caster later on due to high dex without needing radagon's talisman slot. Just a build i don't think anyone has done yet
Tiny nerdy things. I love it
Daggers next please!
Can you please do a rotten battle hammer build? I’ve been trying, but I’m not good at making builds. I would appreciate it 😁
Hello, I've been wathing your elden ring builds for a long time, and I could say I've seen them all. Could I please ask you to make a build for my favourite weapons, Dragon kings cragblade? I really want to ue it in the DLC, but I'm not sure if I'm optimizing it correctly. Thanks :)
I would love to see a RL1 build for the current version of the game.
I really really love this weapon with Sacred and Prayerful Strikes ash of war. You heal like 50% of your life, even with 60 Vigor
Pro tip:
Flame Monk Head/Chest/Greaves, and Fire Prelate gloves = 51 poise
Optimized Drip
If I can still suggest a build: Carian Scythe - Grave Scythe, infused with AoW: Loretta's Slash.
What do you recommend for when a boss has fire resistance? Should we simply equip one of the other elemental ashes of war?
Can you make a video about the assassin black knife build for pvp?
Do a visage shield one next
I could be max level and would still be 100% faith main. I just hope the DLC makes holy damage as a contender at least at endgame. But I use the hell out of flame art infusions for that faith scaling or whatever fire damage faith weapons.
When I think that I collected all weapons in game then I see this one that I don't have in my collection and I'm on journey 3.
You could claws and fist together since very few of them
"It doesn't really matter which armor you use..." While choosing a bad ass look that matches the build. It matter ! And you know it. :)
“The Godslayer’s Seal has the highest Spellbuff from 27 to 68 Faith. At 69+ Faith, the Erdtree Seal has a higher Spellbuff” as printed on the wiki.
I think 35 mind is a bit overkill, even despite being fp hungrt and you can definitely knock 5 points off mind and go to 55 vigor
I would rather use the giant seal: since you almost only use fire incantations, would that be a good idea?
Any secondary/alt weapons recommended with this build?
would you say this is a good build for shadow of the erdtree?
ha - just started using this weapon on a new character run
what qualifies the weapon to get benefitted is it because it is automaticall faith scaling??? so u can make it all a faith build??? does the ash of war scale with faith how did the weapon get chose? or how does it do dmg without max strength or dex just avoid non faith scaling ones? does faith scaling mean it will cause holy damage or so on whatever it says it does increased with faith is why?? THANK YOU!!! sry im a bit brain dead atm
bought the game on pc after 180 on ps4 well im having fun again
could you swap to Sacred Infusion for fire resistant enemies
Fashion is the endgame.
daggers next plix
I had to double and triple check my eyes before realizing yes, there is indeed a new elden ring fextra build! 🤯😆🤘🏼
Can you recommend an alternative, smaller weapon for the build?
Claymore works well here... can get it super early and is flexible for other AOWs if you switch your build up later.
What to do with fire resistent ou immune enemies?
Is this build still OP in dlc ? or got nerf?
Daggers plz!
If flame art infused weapon, does that mean you can't buff the weapon with bloodflame or other buffs? Can only rely on the ash of war buff?
No. You can't.
About The Other question: maybe. There are many Fire Resistant Enemies...
But with all that Faith you will Able to use a lot of Incantations. Maybe that will be enough. Or maybe a Heavy infused weapon + any Buff
does anyone know why when i put the flaming strike ash of war it says “ fire curved great club” and not “flame art” like in the video ?
Cursive bonk is hot
This is for prophet ?
Is there a written version ?
let them buurn build
Speak softly but carry a big stick
Ok, elden ring is awesome, but the truth is, there is no balance for builds, a build is a result of a bunch of different configuration together that CHANGE de common result, but every build in ER are made to increase damage, a proof of that is the fact that is better to delete any mob in 10s instead of wait a poison effect to kill it...
A good video about builds: ruclips.net/video/UXn6aDxC-s0/видео.html
Said that, the Best build you can create is a build based in strength and use fists as weapons, since you can change every ashes of war that you my want to apply effects and the cost per hit (considering fp and stamina) is the best compared to any build.
To me this is sad, i'm saying, it does not matter if you're a mage or a knight, the game is expecting a big number per hit.
Daggers next!!
