Same! Every year I am back. Whenever someone asks me how can I watch 1-2 hours of YT everyday, I just show this video, then people don’t judge me and think it’s a very well spent time, believing everything is this quality, little do they know…
Rory Manlapaz I’ve come back to watch this video every few weeks since it’s been released and here I am again, back watching it to gain some inspiration for my own stuff because this is still the most game changing video cinematically I’ve seen
Ben. Speechless. Honored to have shared the journey and experience with you, Tim, the Hadfields, and the entire squad. Between this and Tim's video today, I am in tears. Miss you all everyday. I will now watch both 1000x more. :)
To be surrounded by such incredibly inspiring people (like Ben) was a gift which I will forever be grateful for. How Ben doesn't have 1 million or more subs at this point is beyond me.
I didn't realize you're the photographer of the iconic Cobble Hill Brownstone. I eventually realized your work on Instagram and I must say it is simply stunning! Ben inspires me to explore cinematography and you inspire me to view the world "through the lens"!
John Dean If you guys have a time please check out my short film I just made, I worked hard and all I'm trying to do is gain some exposure, check it out and tell me what you think, thank you👍🏼
Absolutely fantastic, I've watched this multiple times now. All I can still say is wow. I've been showing it to anyone who will watch it, mainly people I know who don't go on RUclips and everyone was blown away. They couldn't believe it when I said it was all shot and edited by one person. Incredible shots, especially of the animals, the drone shots are amazing, and the choice of music was absolutely perfect. I think this might be your best video yet, and certainly one of the very best on RUclips.
Ben, Dear, You know what is better, but I hope we will see product of all the other, huge material, which you created by working so hard. "ARCTIC - Visual Vibes" - this masterpiece left me speechless... Only thing I wanted to do, was to applaud until my hands stopped because of exhaustion.
The film and vlog series from this trip was what inspired me to pursue a career in the polar regions. I remember watching these and being absolutely awestruck. I have now been working as a Filmmaker and Guide onboard these expedition vessels for two years now thanks to this. Cheers
You always forget how absolutely gorgeous our planet is when you're stuck in a city, and its weird because I like that. I like forgetting about the beauty, so when I do go out I can get blown away by the scenery! This whole video just blew me to a different galaxy! It's such a shame we have wars being fought, racism, sexism and poverty! It's a shame we are destroying our planet... why can't we all just stop for a day or two and just look around. Look around at life? Look around at creation? Look around at love!!
You might not have to. Climate change is much more complex and has much more variables than the rather blinkered binary view most people are presented with. Look up the Maunder Minimum. Just reported a few days ago.. "A new model has allowed experts to predict solar activity with more accuracy than ever before and it suggests that magnetic activity will fall by 60 per cent between 2030 and 2040. The model looks at the Sun’s ’11-year heartbeat’ - the period it takes for magnetic activity to fluctuate. This cycle was first discovered some 173 years ago." and "“They both have a frequency of approximately 11 years, although this frequency is slightly different, and they are offset in time. “Combining both waves together and comparing to real data for the current solar cycle, we found that our predictions showed an accuracy of 97 per cent.” Ms Zharkova says the next cycle is set to peak in 2022, and the cycle after, known as Cycle 26, will herald a new ice age."
It's sad to think that one day, in the not so distant future, all of this could be gone due to human irresponsibility. Places as beautiful as this should be cherished while they last and I thank you for documenting such beauty. I fear that this video will one day not be an accurate representation of the present but a picture of once was. I do not want my children to experience places like these through video, but I fear that that is the only way they will be able to experience these places due to their extinction. We must do more to preserve the beauty within our earth.
Even though this is now 7 years old, I find myself coming back to it now and then as the original source of inspiration to becoming a filmmaker. Thank you Ben for this masterpiece, and for implanting the dream of using a camera to explore the world that I'm now living.
What else can I say? As a filmmaker myself, I can definitely say this is by far the best 7 and a half minutes video of the Arctic that I've ever watched. Great job Ben!!!
Rustad Media and Timestorm videos become trendy, too. And Yuri Palma' Rome by bike is not trendy on ytube but has been broadcasted. We have some hopes for beauty spread...
I feel like there should be a subtitle "Featuring Tim Kellner". 😏 He's such a photogenic guy. 📸 Congratulations, Ben, on another awesome Visual Vibes! 👏 👏 👏
I remember this period so well, i honestly couldnt put into words how excited i was for these videos and then the visual vibes dropped and it blew me away. Every now and again i come back to this and the memories it brings 🎉 thanks for everything ben, i hope you are doing well
Ben, this is incredible. It actually upsets me greatly that you're not recognised enough for your talent - 600k may sound like a lot, but this sort of talent deserves so much more. This is not something you can learn, you have such a feel for the nature and music and somehow intertwine them so beautifully. Amazing. I hope that one day you will be a household name. Can I ask what lenses you were using, and was it all on the A7S2?
no, for this trip I think he was using mostly Canon 1D and lenses with aperture max 2.8 PS. Also, he even wrote in description: "Shot on Canon 1Dx mk II & Dji Phantom 4"
Dear Ben, I can not believe what I just saw. It's so impressive what nature and technology can set up in almost every home. And it's even more impressive that people like you use this powerful tool to share amazing content. I can not thank you enough for that. What a time to be alive.
Stunned Ben...really moved me -watching that... Thank you for sharing your journey with us and passion for this life!...the raw beauty of the Arctic you brought to the SENSES....music rocks...could almost touch and smell and feel the wind on the face. Cheers JD
Mr Ben Brown Hi, my name is Pablo and I am follower of your videos, I like them a lot while they give me a lot of envy, and I would like to know as many places as you, I would love to give you a like to my channel since you would help me A lot, thanks for your videos and keep it up!
Wow. I remember being completely mesmerised by this video when it first came out. I was 15. It has always been in the back of my mind but today I finally sat down to watch it again. It has given me that same feeling as when I first watched it and filled me with nostalgia. Thank you for creating this Ben.
Ben, to put it into words that anyone can understand...What the hell, this is the most amazing piece I have ever seen from you; I don't think I was ready for something so good.
The eye of the lens, guided by the hand and soul of Ben Brown, humbles me. To see these ideas of wonder, beauty, love, thought, creativity and power, all arise together, capturing a moment of our pure and complex life leaves me speechless. This is what it means to live, and his art has, and will continue to change the course of my life. This is one I will never forget. Thanks Ben.
Holy...speechless. This was amazing, Ben we need an extended cut! Thumbs up if you agree! I know you have even more footage that you wish you could have used! Needless to say this may now be my favorite youtube video of all time, gave me the chills it was so good.
This is still such a standout cinematic work of art, I return to watch it every now and again. Hits just as hard as when i watched it first release. Thank you Ben 🙏
Absolutely incredible work. I have watched this countless times and everything is so on point. This has completely inspired me to go out for an adventure and I've now impulse booked a winter weeks holiday in Iceland to capture some drone footage ! Can.not.wait. Thank you for this artwork Ben!
Ahhh i fully respect your new way of life but i miss those old times... I just heard the song on Instagram and instantly remembered your visiual vibes video. What a freaking masterpiece 🙌
Who's watching this in 2021? 🙋🏾♂️ These visuals, the music, the sounds of nature and the chopper and radio chatter, this is perfection. Some people are truly blessed to have been able to experience this kind of pristine beauty on this planet. Ben is truly on the road to awe, I hope someday I can be too, the Arctic would be me first stop. If not this lifetime then definitely the next.
I rarely feel the urge to comment a video, but this time there is no way around it... Absolutely epic! And I can't imagine how awesome it would be seeing this on the big screen. Definitely your best work so far, Ben! I hope to meet you in Munich some day
Ever since this VV has come out a year ago, I have watched it too many times to count. This video is not only absolutely breath taking, but insanely inspiring. Nothing makes me feel more motivated to create something than watching this. Thanks Ben for being an icon and influencer in my life all these years. You're amazing.
The sad truth is that there shouldn't be that much water in the Arctic, and ships shouldn't be able to pass through. Rising sea temperatures are dramatically changing our landscape at a scale so large that the common man underestimates the severity of this problem.
Vincent Garcia I'm not saying global warming doesn't exist but the arctic is an ocean for the most part and we don't know how far north this was filmed. Not to mention that if it was shot within the last couple months then the vid is from the warmest it gets up there. Ships have always been able to pass in the summer, it's the winter at which point they become stuck and crews would have to survive for months in that spot.
This was shot in the Russian Federation in late spring, not Antarctica. And it's an icebreaker ship, that's its fucking job to break ice no matter how thick. Get your shit together you fucking moron.
I have watched this upwards of 10 times, and every time I notice something new that I am amazed by. Your talent is undeniable, and I hope you continue to get the recognition you deserve.
I have to say, your Visual Vibes are the only type of content I purposely sit down for, put headphones on, make myself comfortable, just to enjoy your work. Man, was it worth it! Truly amazing work!
6 years on, still coming back to watch this video. Just sticks with you. Thanks for creating it, Ben.
Yep, I'm going on 4 years for me. Still moving.
@@creativesoundlab oh we all doing doing the same thing fr ?
So sick what an adventure
Same! Every year I am back.

GunAndBomb ironic thing is, making this film has that impact
It is a normal process, multiple times there hasn't been any Ice on this planet, we humans are just speeding things up
Before governments existed we didn't have problems like this, life was better without a government.
Luca Budgen Some things were better. I would rather be ruled by a government than a religion.
I totally agree with you. I'm also commenting on this so 3 Luca's (Luka's) will have replied to this.
The first upload got deleted before I could say that this video is absolutely hypnotizing! Cinematography goals!
This is like ASMR for the eyes
I couldn't agree more! Absolutely stunning visuals!
This is one of the most well made and amazing videos on youtube. I've watched this multiple times now, and it never gets less amazing.
I would add Yuri Palma, Timestorm and Leonardo Dalessandri contribute. Well, major league...
Even though this is now 7 years old, I find myself coming back to it now and then as the original source of inspiration to becoming a filmmaker. Thank you Ben for this masterpiece, and for implanting the dream of using a camera to explore the world that I'm now living.

his narration at the middle part of the video reminds me of your videos Creative North. :)
He should go to Japan and make a really nice visual vibe to match this one :)
Creative North subbed 😌🙌🏻
This is a great video indeed!
*THIS IS MODERN ART. TRULY, TRULY STUNNING, BEN.*
Ben, check out this kid's^ stuff. His last film is one of the best videos I have ever seen.
I can't believe his video is trending, well deserved ☺️
Rustad Media and Timestorm videos become trendy, too. And Yuri Palma' Rome by bike is not trendy on ytube but has been broadcasted. We have some hopes for beauty spread...
Miss videos like this from you Ben. Hope you’re doing ok.
I feel like there should be a subtitle "Featuring Tim Kellner". 😏 He's such a photogenic guy. 📸

Wow its been over 4 years. I remember watching this for th first time when it came out.. Still the greatest video on the internet.
Ben, this is incredible. It actually upsets me greatly that you're not recognised enough for your talent - 600k may sound like a lot, but this sort of talent deserves so much more. Can I ask what lenses you were using, and was it all on the A7S2?
no, for this trip I think he was using mostly Canon 1D and lenses with aperture max 2.8
PS. Also, he even wrote in description: "Shot on Canon 1Dx mk II & Dji Phantom 4"
Fame is cancer, only fools desire fame.
Lettuce
and you're one of them.
i agree with you Bernie
His lenses were the Canon 35mm 1.4 version 1 and the 16-35mm 2.8 v2 as well as the 70-200 2.8 is ii all used on the 1DX MK2
Dear Ben, I can not believe what I just saw. It's so impressive what nature and technology can set up in almost every home.
And it's even more impressive that people like you use this powerful tool to share amazing content. I can not thank you enough for that. What a time to be alive.
I'm so happy Ben made it on the trending page, he's one of the most underrated youtuber/filmmaker/vloggers
I have to come back and watch this every once and while because it's just so damn good.

Indeed.
+Surfwindsand agree!! so much dumb shit is going viral and this masterpiece deserves it a hundred times more!!
Not sure if the 2:13 copter blade edit (to match the tempo of the music) was done on purpose but that was awesome.

Unbelievable scenes!

good video tho props 2 u bud
He shot this in the middle of summer. You haven't the slightest clue what you're talking about

This has to be one of the most beautiful and most inspiring videos I've ever seen.
It's really one of the best works on art for video I've ever seen. You captured the feelings. The intangables and indescribables.
I'm back 4 years later. Feeling are the same. Simply amazing.
I have watched this upwards of 10 times, and every time I notice something new that I am amazed by. Your talent is undeniable, and I hope you continue to get the recognition you deserve.
Seems even clearer than 1080p!
Epiphany: My trailer reminds me of a "visual vibes" vid
I still come back and watch this Visual Vibes often, especially when I need a little inspiration🙌🏼
Austin Walker exactly what I’m doing now and been doing since the day it came out man
I have to say, your Visual Vibes are the only type of content I purposely sit down for, put headphones on, make myself comfortable, just to enjoy your work. Man, was it worth it! Truly amazing work!
I'm pausing the video at the start and commenting how excited I am right now. EEKKKKKKKK!
