    No words to describe it, just one little detail I just noticed: at 1:27 those broken glasses resemble the ice in the following shot and then you go on "breaking" the ice in smaller piaces till it becomes drops of water. That's truly mindblowing, I had watched this video before but I never noticed, and I'm sure you intended to do that. Well, good job.

    Just watched Ben Brown's film and now this one, back to back. They're so incredibly different, both beautiful in their own way. Tim, you managed to capture the moodiness and powerful imagery of the North like you've been there before. Love this old soul interpretation of your trip. It's simply beautiful.

    I've waited so long for this! I honestly think this is one of my favourite videos of yours Tim! The audio is fantastic and the visuals are simply stunning. One of my favourite aspects of this is how you've managed to visualise the scale of the arctic, I never imagined it to be like this! The contrast between this and Ben's vlogs is very interesting and I love how different each perspective is! Thank you for sharing your work!

    DAMN!!! This is f**king brilliant!!! It's top notch on all aspects of filmmaking Tim. The soundtrack, the narration (where'd you find the narrator?), the light, tone, the edit. I'm totally in awe of this film. Your next goal is to submit THIS film to the Sundance Film Festival! How about shooting a documentary of the Arctic? Or, Antarctic? 👀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    Interesting to watch this straight after Ben's. I felt his was advertising something. I felt yours was a film. I was waiting for things to HAPPEN watching this. But as Shakespeare says - comparisons are odorous. Both very beautiful things full of care and significance.

      Well Bens is more dynamic, I would love to see some of his shots for little bit longer but it is really good, Tims is more calming more "arty" I actually really love both and I thing we should be greatfull to them for creating such an awesome and beautifull content.

      I definitely thought this captured the imagination better. The sound editing and the lighting made it feel like an alien planet, which fulfils my expectations of what I imagine it was like to be there, or maybe just what I want it to be like, even if that's an unrealistic expectation.
      I like Ben and I hate to be the only guy criticising his stuff but his film did feel like far less of a story, but more just a collection of pretty songs and pretty shots. I didn't feel anything watching it.

    Amazing, this is masterful! I think Ben's had beautiful shots but in terms of a full package you absolutely nailed this. The music and the voiceover capture the feel so perfectly. 10/10 love it.
