No words to describe it, just one little detail I just noticed: at 1:27 those broken glasses resemble the ice in the following shot and then you go on "breaking" the ice in smaller piaces till it becomes drops of water. That's truly mindblowing, I had watched this video before but I never noticed, and I'm sure you intended to do that. Well, good job.
This video has such depth and feel to it. It completely draws the viewer into it and makes them feel like they are a part of it. Too much epic in 2 minutes and 23 seconds.
Just watched Ben Brown's film and now this one, back to back. They're so incredibly different, both beautiful in their own way. Tim, you managed to capture the moodiness and powerful imagery of the North like you've been there before. Love this old soul interpretation of your trip. It's simply beautiful.
I've waited so long for this! I honestly think this is one of my favourite videos of yours Tim! The audio is fantastic and the visuals are simply stunning. One of my favourite aspects of this is how you've managed to visualise the scale of the arctic, I never imagined it to be like this! The contrast between this and Ben's vlogs is very interesting and I love how different each perspective is! Thank you for sharing your work!
Highlighted the issue of global warming and more specifically polar amplification, with a beautiful level of simplification while providing a deeply impactful message. This is an extremely influential and necessary piece.
I love how he connects two very beautiful things of this world, nature and languages. I loved watching the stunning landscape and listening to the mysterious sound of this language.
I love how you and Ben essentially shot the same things, but through colour grading, music choice and all in all the power of editing, you have both managed to create something worlds apart.
Immense. The music is brilliant as is the video. (love that you captured the feeling of that small abandoned cabin on that beach we were on so perfectly) Love this. So much.
That was a cinematographer's dream. What an intense score.. I like in the way you feel the atmosphere of that place with those dramatic sounds. Your music production and editing have taken a big leap dude. Keep on going Tim 👌
A very cool way to spend two and half minutes...congrats on this! Your choice of music added so much to the arctic cold and remoteness that is the reality of the north.
You are truly an artist. Poetry, spoken word, instrumentals, visual beauty captured so perfectly to create a passion for a place I've never been. A memory I'll hold forever.
Great video! The music is sooooo good and the video fits perfectly with it. The poem at the beginning was amazing. Everything about this video is awesome!
Beautiful and raw. When people say 'thanks for taking us with you' I always think hmmm that it sounds a little strange, but this is the classic Thanks for taking us with you. This is because i'm not sure I will ever go there in my life.
I just watched Ben's Arctic Visual Vibes and it is truly beautiful to me how vastly different yours is to his. Two humans in the same place experiencing the same things and seeing it completely different. This was insanely beautiful, thank you for sharing this!
It is awesome to see two different people aka (you and Ben) telling "different story" yet the same destination..same place, same expedition. Amazing. Epic. Breathtaking.
DAMN!!! This is f**king brilliant!!! It's top notch on all aspects of filmmaking Tim. The soundtrack, the narration (where'd you find the narrator?), the light, tone, the edit. I'm totally in awe of this film. Your next goal is to submit THIS film to the Sundance Film Festival! How about shooting a documentary of the Arctic? Or, Antarctic? 👀👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Honestly, I expected a beautiful light weighted short film, which i was looking forward to. But this was so much more than what I thought it would! Really deep, dark and unique. Just loved it!
Interesting to watch this straight after Ben's. I felt his was advertising something. I felt yours was a film. I was waiting for things to HAPPEN watching this. But as Shakespeare says - comparisons are odorous. Both very beautiful things full of care and significance. Alanx
Well Bens is more dynamic, I would love to see some of his shots for little bit longer but it is really good, Tims is more calming more "arty" I actually really love both and I thing we should be greatfull to them for creating such an awesome and beautifull content.
I definitely thought this captured the imagination better. The sound editing and the lighting made it feel like an alien planet, which fulfils my expectations of what I imagine it was like to be there, or maybe just what I want it to be like, even if that's an unrealistic expectation. I like Ben and I hate to be the only guy criticising his stuff but his film did feel like far less of a story, but more just a collection of pretty songs and pretty shots. I didn't feel anything watching it.
Your truly are a genius. The visuals and the music are incredible! I have no words to describe it, just a bunch of emotions that you made me experience, and many thoughts that were racing through my mind. Thank you Tim, wonderful job.
You did compare them though. You wrote "This was more realistic and less fluff." It's perfectly fine to feel that way. Everyone has different tastes and preferences.
Amazing, this is masterful! I think Ben's had beautiful shots but in terms of a full package you absolutely nailed this. The music and the voiceover capture the feel so perfectly. 10/10 love it.
I've been waiting for this ever since I saw Ben's vlogs. Loved the tone and style you added throughout, seriously you should be proud of this--so good!
so wonderful. congrats Tim!

It's so refreshing to see such personalities in both Ben's and Tim's videos, truly their own eye. So beautiful.
Love how this is so different to Ben's one. So dark and mystical. Good job man!
Magic. The layers of meaning and emotion are arresting. It's like we can feel your heart beating. 🙏🏼❄️
Love seeing the contrast between your and Ben's work from the same location. Amazing, amazing filmmaking Tim!
Ok so I love Ben Brown and his Artic visual vibes, but I think I may like this even more! great work man, this is absolutely unreal!
Just watched Ben Brown's film and now this one, back to back. They're so incredibly different, both beautiful in their own way. Lost LeBlanc how was ben's visual vibes?
leblanc i see u everywhere :D
So much love the sequence of the shards of wood and glass in that old cabin, followed by the broken sea ice.
I've waited so long for this! I honestly think this is one of my favourite videos of yours Tim! The audio is fantastic and the visuals are simply stunning. One of my favourite aspects of this is how you've managed to visualise the scale of the arctic, I never imagined it to be like this! Highlighted the issue of global warming and more specifically polar amplification, with a beautiful level of simplification while providing a deeply impactful message. This is an extremely influential and necessary piece.
Tim this is so beautiful!!!
This film still gives me the chills when I watch it every now and then. What an unbelievable talent you are Tim.
I'm actually too speechless to leave a coherent compliment.
I love how he connects two very beautiful things of this world, nature and languages. I loved watching the stunning landscape and listening to the mysterious sound of this language.
Simply inspiring!
I love how you and Ben essentially shot the same things, but through colour grading, music choice and all in all the power of editing, you have both managed to create something worlds apart.
My favorite all time 2016 video on RUclips.
Creative. Mind blowing. Inspiring.
A video that proves trendy transitions are not necessary. Such an inspiration. Great video! Four thumbs up-feet included.
Immense. The music is brilliant as is the video.
(love that you captured the feeling of that small abandoned cabin on that beach we were on so perfectly)
Love this. So much.
the score and the imagery are insane, love that inuit poem, it really adds something to the visuals. amazing x
Love the difference between yours and Ben's films. Both stunning in their own way.
You are by far the best cinematographer I know. Keep up the good work, Tim!
This is just breathtaking. Period. Holy crap.
You are truly an artist. Poetry, spoken word, instrumentals, visual beauty captured so perfectly to create a passion for a place I've never been. A memory I'll hold forever.
Ohhh finally! I've been waiting for this since Bens Arctic Vlogs. Beautiful Video!
Tim you killed it, so aggressive and intense, in such a calm and cinematic way, only you man.... only you!
Man cinematography sound design and story are always done so perfectly in your films!
I could not be more excited! The long wait has paid off very well! Amazing
It's so cool seeing the same experience from two different point of views.
Yes Tim! So proud of your work. Can't wait to see many more fun adventures
I love the deep, thoughtful mood in this, exactly my style! Masterpiece!
One of the most vivid and cinematic videos we have come across on RUclips. Congratulations Tim.
Great video! The music is sooooo good and the video fits perfectly with it. The poem at the beginning was amazing. Everything about this video is awesome!
This is too good to be true. You're an inspiration.
I was waiting for this and Bens Video since the arctic vlogs began... Absolutly stunning pictures!
This is what happens when you take your time and just let things happen on their own. Great job Tim.
Awesome shots as usual, Tim! I was just thinking that it looked like Coke and ice, then a shot of a polar bear came up 😂
Beautiful and raw. When people say 'thanks for taking us with you' I always think hmmm that it sounds a little strange, but this is the classic Thanks for taking us with you. This is because i'm not sure I will ever go there in my life.
You're one of the greatest filmmakers on the internet.
I just watched Ben's Arctic Visual Vibes and it is truly beautiful to me how vastly different yours is to his. Two humans in the same place experiencing the same things and seeing it completely different. This was insanely beautiful, thank you for sharing this!
Gorgeous and haunting - you've really captured the Arctic beautifully.
So minimalistic yet so powerful. Rocked me to my core. The duality of the video was incredible : an harmony of the bass and the photography.
So stunning. I love how dark and moody it is which is such a contrast to Ben's daily vlogs from the trip. Gorgeous work.
Your films are incredible, I rewatched them like 50 times. Amazing... It's like opening you eyes to a complete different dimension!
Incredible.
It is awesome to see two different people aka (you and Ben) telling "different story" yet the same destination..same place, same expedition.

But, this video is too short. My eyes, brain, spirit craves so much more. 👍👍👍👍
Greg Vierra check Ben Brown's Visual Vibes of the Arctic.
he put in the description where he found the narration and how he did it for the video :-)
Vanessa Kappel Cheers! Ah, there it is! 🤗
I didn't realize Tim can also compose his own film scores. He's a very talented filmmaker indeed.
So darn impressive! Legit could have this on repeat all day
*This was breathtaking..* :)
a happy day is when I get a notification for Tim! Your music choice is eerie and haunting as only the Arctic can bring.
wow I'm speechless! this is amazing!
Honestly, I expected a beautiful light weighted short film, which i was looking forward to. But this was so much more than what I thought it would! Really deep, dark and unique. Just loved it!
Well done. This is really inspiring. Thank you so much
I can feel the emotion. And I'm glad to see a healthy polar bear. Amazing video Tim!

Another great installment by Tim himself. Definitely recommend for all

It's so...

Your truly are a genius. The visuals and the music are incredible! I have no words to describe it, just a bunch of emotions that you made me experience, and many thoughts that were racing through my mind.
Thank you Tim, wonderful job.
That was excellent. Much better than Ben's, which is too long and repetitive by comparison.
the music in this was unreal. thanks for making something incredible tim
Oh! I preferred this video over ______ by far. This was more realistic and less ________. Edited as not to offend the marshmallow keyboard warriors.
BeckhamBelieves let's not compare, they're both equally amazing!!!
I prefer this over Ben's but they are both so different. The mood, the music. Stunning.
Keefe Teo I wasn't comparing them. There is no comparison because this video was amazing.
Sound design is off the charts good. Would be sick to see longer content !
The Sound is amazing! I could feel the cold through it! Awesome! Thank you!
This is deffinitely the best video so far! The shots are astonishing and the music killed it! congrats Tim!
Honestly I have no words. Stunning. Possibly the most beautiful video I've ever watched. Well done, Tim!
I've been waiting for this ever since I saw Ben's vlogs. Loved the tone and style you added throughout, seriously you should be proud of this--so good!
Yaaaaaas!!! Such a wonderful job Tim! The music is stunning and works wonderfully with everything. Sooooo good!!!
Beautiful video Tim. I really enjoyed watching you and Ben through Ben's vlogs. Thanks for sharing.
Tim never ceases to amaze me.
Absolutely breathtaking.
I never comment but this deserves recognition. Incredible work. Truly.
