its overheating, u need a new cylinder and piston only. To fix this you have to give it some more gas in higher revs to make it run cooler. Aka the carb is badly adjusted.
Nope thats not what happened but thats also the first thing I was thinking. Bike had the wrong piston size. I measured the cylinder and looked in the manual for the correct piston size but these clearences only go for the oem piston. I installed a Prox piston which has a different clearence. Thats why it seized

@@2strokerides you mean the oem have tighter clearance? What is rge clearance for prox piston?
@@rungassamydonovan47 yes indeed, OEM piston calls for 0.03mm clearence and Prox needs 0.05 - 0.06mm clearance. I'm now running 0.054 clearance.
@@rungassamydonovan47 found that out the hard way🤣
How sad man, have fun with rebuild!
Wish you and your rs125 well :)
Thanks! The bike has allready been rebuild now, this video is from februari, rebuild video will be up soon! :)
@@2strokerides ah thats nice :)
did you check fuel flow? Maybe your carb runs dry when holding full throtle.
Yeah I was thinking that too so I checked it. All good with the fuel flow
Put it on reserve and try it
how many km since last rebuild?
20.000km
But thats not why it seized
@@2strokerides why so then?
@@2strokerides oil pump broke, or?
