Absolutely agree , maybe sarge is still a little behind Ryan, due to finance, but the level of effort is also sublime... man maybe i should've done reviews too when i was in virginia , I've definitely ridden so many more bikes than sarge and more bikes than 99% of people. I've ridden all litreclass supersports , all hypernakeds, classics, ( other than the Motoguzzi V9) , have rode advs like the BMW GS series, Triumoh tigers , all sport bikes, sport tourers ( not baggers) , and supermotos( still waiting for the 701 sm or the 690 SMC-R ) , dirt bikes, Btw , I used to race a 220hp R1 at the virginia international raceway

This is how the interceptor should have been in the first place. I think I have watched your 650 twins video atleast 10 times, and now this is on a whole different level 🔥 Sarge you have all my respect and love ❤️
If RE built this bike, it would have to comply with Euro 5/6, so would be quieter, heavier, less powerful and much much more expensive than the interceptor. Luckily, we have guys like this who can show us what can be achieved, even if in many countries the bike would be illegal to ride on public roads.
If I heard correctly, this is your first build. Talk about hitting it out of the park, as our American friends would say!! I adore this design it suits the Interceptor so well, the proportions are perfect! If I walked into a Royal Enfield showroom and saw this I would genuinely think that it was a factory design, as an upgrade for the Interceptor platform, which is high praise! I would love to see this come to Canada as an option. That beautiful parallel twin 650 would be so much better suited to go up against the Moto Guzzi V7 Scramblers, and the first gen Ducati and Triumph bikes as well. That, and if Royal Enfield could keep the price of your bike reasonable, like all their bikes are I think RE would have a huge hit on their hands. Of course if something is released in Canada and not the USA, it almost instantly becomes a cult icon so opening this bike up to the US market a year or two after hitting the road in Canada would almost assure hungry American buyers. Fantastic story and video. I was born into a motorcycle family and it is in my soul and even gut. My dad took me on the back of his Triumph when I was four. Never looked back. Now got an INT650 and absolutely love it, with a sibling GT650 coming soon to keep her company. Had a 250 Continental in my youth and loved it. Keep up the good work.

I love these biased reviews! Honestly, you can only be biased to something when you truly love that thing. And the fact that you admitted your inclination made it all the more beautiful. It’s not what we do to the machine but our fancied imagination and passionate efforts in materialising that dream that matters. Kudos to you for such an amazing work on a beautiful machine. It takes a lot to to portray one’s imagination and takes a lot more to calmly yet passionately tell the story behind.
I was already thinking of buying a used interceptor to go touring for 2-3 years and then converting it into a scrambler later, but was sceptical about parts availability, especially Triumph style exhaust. And now suddenly I come across this video and now that I know somebody has done exactly the same thing already, I have cleared my mind and now I can go ahead with my decision. Thanks Sagar.

Stunning build, congratulations and thanks for sharing! I remember 30 years ago when Enfield bikes, even the so-called 'export' models, were literally complete junk. Poor quality castings, shoddy electrics and all-round poor quality control. I lived in India around 15 years ago and they were still terrible even then, and there were questions on whether they would even survive the competition as the economy opened up to imports, or just go the same way as Ambassador cars. It's phenomenal how the company has been turned around, to the point were they are being judged alongside the best (check out the Fortnine video on oil contamination tests). I love the Interceptor 650 as a scrambler platform, and the Continental GT is also a beautiful bike in its own right!

That is one of the most perfect bikes I've ever seen. The only thing I would change is I would thermal wrap the pipes just to help with efficiency. Other than that I don't think there's a thing I'd even think of changing. Well done!

That is one of the most perfect bikes I've ever seen. The only thing I would change is I would thermal wrap the pipes just to help with efficiency. Other than that I don't think there's a thing I'd even think of changing. Well done!
