Karen Alert 🚨 wee woo wee woo. Chill out, they are just doing there job, plus the lady is going way to quick into the recipe. She is like you mix the ingredients and *POW* there it is, the finished process!
You're not being a Karen, that was a pointless segment. The hosts kept interrupting and the cook wasn't doing a good job demoing. There's a ton of Magnolia Banana Pudding RUclips vids though.

I love banana pudding it's delicious. I could polish off that bowl in under a half hour. Banana pudding is so addictive.
I will admit that this "presentation" was complete BS but some of y'all in the comments are hating too hard on the new comers. Both non baked AND baked banana pudding are GOOD. Like try something new for once😒. My mama said the same thing until I let her try my version of the instant one and she LOVED IT. ✌PP
They forgot to say that you mix the whipped cream and pudding

The cookbook is great, few recipes use prepared ingredients like the pudding.
Instead of using nilla wafers , try with Pepperidge Farm Chess Men short bread cookies …..it’s AMAZING
I have never had this version but tonight I will make one will give update. I’m use to making my own custard old school style taught by my grandmother.
This is a VERY OLD recipe: Invented by German confectioner Gustav A. Mayer on Staten Island, the biscuit recipe was sold to Nabisco in 1898 and renamed Vanilla Wafers. It wouldn't be until the 1920s that the perfect marriage between wafer and pudding collided.
This is just standard banana pudding. Shouldn't they add something or prepare it differently to call it Magnolia bakery banana pudding?

This is not new… I’m from georgia and this is how my great grandma made it since the beginning of time. I guess we never had the know how as black people to market it

Just treated myself for my birthday. It tastes like I make it at home. Cost me $63 for two small containers and two small cupcakes. All good but I could have made 5 pans of it for that price.

Why is this called a pudding and not a trifle? It is easy to make but there's no banana in the pudding. Banana is thrown on top of vanilla pudding ... And why is a commercial bakery using packaged instant pudding mix instead of making pudding from scratch?

Omg…that is as a ridiculous segment on there behalf!!! I am familiar with the recipe and have made it. The GMA group didn’t even comment on how delicious it was….one was eating the dessert and never commented, and the other two that were so excited to have it never even started eating it….😂😂😂

Similar to Paula Deen's "Not Yo Mamnas Banana Pudding". Yummy. Using a Classic Vanilla Wafer to replace the Pepperidge Farms Chessman cookies PD uses.
The only thing that makes this theirs is water lol cause we’ve made that far longer than this using it all we used milk

Ok. Real banana pudding is made from scratch without boxed pudding. It should be made on the with eggs, sugar,, vanilla, etc. stirring until your arms ache. Learned from mother and grandma. This box cooking has to go!!

All Diva...thank you very much...it is not a quick recipe...making pudding takes patient, and to top it off...you use the egg white and make meringue....that is real Banana.pudding...I bet they charge an arm.and a leg for they box banana pudding....

I didn’t like it I was raised on making my own custard. And in this recipe all I can taste is the pudding. And what it worse is the Nilla cookies the taste of them are gone. They tasted bland. Now I have a dish full and nobody in my home eats it but me. So later in the trash bin it goes. 🤢🤢
