    I made this. My recommendations.
    -add sugar to the heavy whipping cream for flavour.
    -if you want it to taste more like banana instead of vanilla. Use banana pudding for a thicker banana flavour but it will taste artificial.
    -If using vanilla pudding add only 2 cups heavy whipping cream instead of 3.
    Other than that it was good and makes a hell of a lot of pudding.

      I just used milk instead of water and I used one pint of heavy whipping cream. Is it too little cream?

    • @nunyabiz697
      @nunyabiz697 3 года назад +3

      @@louietoltolvlog9699 using milk instead of water will probably just give it more of a creamy flavor. That should be fine. One pint of whipping cream should work as it equals 2 cups.

    MAKE SURE YOU USE INSTANT PUDDING!!! There is a jello brand exactly like the instant one that you have to COOK otherwise your pudding will stay watery

      You know since yesterday evening I've been trying to understand what went wrong with my pudding, eventhough I followed every step it was soo runny. The problem is exactly what you pointed out: non-instant pudding !!! Where I live here, there isn't the instant one's, I've only fell on one brand for vanilla pudding, and didn't know that in this case it should be cooked instead...I'll try it next time with the cooked pudding hoping it'll make everything fine. Thanks for this precious remark that all videos seem to fail to highlight !

    I made mine without the eagle brand milk, and no cool whip, because the last time I made it, it was too sweet for my taste. However, I did use whipping cream, like the Magnolia recipe calls for.

    This is the same recipe that my grandma used to make banana pudding and that I use now, just that if you’re like me in that you like the banana flavor but not the texture then do like me and after you mix the condensed milk and water you can blind it together with 2 bananas this way you can have more layers of vanilla wafers or I like to do 2 layers of wafers then a middle layer of frozen Reese’s peanut butter cups (crumbled) then 2 more layers of wafers and then a top of wafers and Reese’s crumbled up

    • @Laneliberty6670
      @Laneliberty6670 3 года назад

      I think they do that because the condensed milk mixed with the water makes a sweet milk to start out with. Then it’s mixed with more dairy in the heavy cream. I can see why, since the pudding mixture starts out so sweet, then it’s added to the unsweetened cream. Not sure, but can’t wait to eat it tomorrow!

    • @itssweetiebrandi
      @itssweetiebrandi 3 года назад +3

      @@Laneliberty6670 yeaaaa I hear what you’re saying but it’s still a no for me. Water and pudding just don’t create the taste you’re looking for. Milk isn’t sweet, so using that instead of water isn’t going to manipulate the sweetness.
