I really want to try to make this but I don't understand how to continue to make this shawl bigger.
Gorgeous!
😍😍
Love your tutorials, but this one is really easy!! thank you!!
You're so welcome! 💕💕
I absolutely love your patterns. I appreciate the tutorials because I'm extremely dyslexic and have a difficult time reading patterns. I've started this pattern and stuck at the point right after the repeats of 1-12 x's 6 times where you join color B. 😢
I'm sorry that you're stuck. Please send us a message through the contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ and we'll happily help you with your issue. I'm sure we can figure it out. 🩷
@@ExpressionFiberArts thank you!
Hi Chanti, just finished the Adalia shawl and it turned out beautifully. The instructions were easy to follow and the yarn was delicious to work with. Thank you. I know the recipient will love it too. Oh by the way, I love your outfit especially your hat.
yay! I'm so glad you like it! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! 💕💕
I love this shawl and it is super easy until you get to the pointed edges, where the pattern is super complicated. Would love to see a tutorial on that part so I can complete the shawl cuz I love it so much.
That can be something we work on!
@@ExpressionFiberArts thank you for responding. Determined! I will keep trying😊
I can’t make my pointed edges come out the same either. I think there is an extra row that isn’t needed.
Would be great if she finished the tutorial. Don't watch her videos because you can't finish anything you've started. What a shame.
@@jennaa1617 you have to buy the pattern 😞
Unique design 👌.......
Thank you! Cheers!
??? The chain 1 you do
In the lace rows at the last space. Row 2...in Row 3 do you work that chain 1 space as a space. Is it included as a space to be worked. I'm off on my count unless I work a single crochet inthat weird chain one space. Please help I've tried it and my shape is off. But my count is correct
Please send your pattern question to info@expressionfiberarts.com and our designers can help you troubleshoot. Thanks.
THANK YOU SO MUCH CANT WAIT TO MAKE THIS ONE!!! 😊🌴🌺🌴💖🦎🍍 MERRY HOLIDAYS
Happy holidays! 💕
Wunderschönen.
Vielen lieben Dank! 🥰
muy buena puntada y buena voz
Thanks!
Love your tutorial
Thank you! 😊
I hot to the final row on this video. I'm not able to read patterns. What do I do after this row? I would appreciate your guidance to finish it. Thank you!!
Hi Caroline, after working the Setup Rows and Row 1 & 2 that Chandi showed in the tutorial you will turn your work and repeat Row 1 & 2 for the rest of the shawl. Always alternating between Row 1 and then Row 2 again.
I hope this makes sense and is helpful. Have a great day. 💕
Tq chandi ! Lovely 🖤🖤🖤
Thank you so much 🙂
Thank you, beautiful soul! Do you have any tutorials showing how to style the shawls around your body? I notice in your intros, you always have the shawl wrapped so beautifully around you but I'm not exactly sure how you wrap it.
We don't, but we've had lots of suggestions for a video like that. I'm sure we'll make one at some point.
This is not an easy pattern. I finished the first 12 rows, then it says to repeat rows 1-12 five times which Im trying to do but it does not look right, there will be gaps and the previous point only gets bigger. What am I doing wrong.? Also Im only using one color. Ready to give up but dont want to, just need to understand. Thank you.
Hi Carolina, I'm happy to help. I hope you won't give up. I'm sure you can do it.
I'm not completely sure that I understand what is going wrong. Can you be more specific with where in the pattern you are and have trouble with, like row number and what you mean by gaps. The Shawl is supposed to exhibit spikes at one edge that have small lace openings.
I've already responded to your last question below regarding only working with one color.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a great day! ❤️
Same question from me
Hola muy bonito, pero haces para que queden los picos de la orilla, en dónde lo puedo ver
You are beautiful with every shawl . . .
🥰
Deverian ser traducidos al español ...porfa...ya ke sus tutoriales son muy buenos....
My ADD is getting in my way. I bought the pattern and watched video 10 times, still cannot figure out the lacing pattern. I just need 1 more row shown on your tutorial, PLEASE 🙏
I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Unfortunately, due to time constraints we aren't making videos on demand right now. However, please message us at info@expressionfiberarts.com, and Pam will be able to help you out one-on-one.
Podrías traducir tus videos a Español ?!?!?!? muchas gracias
I wish you could explain more how to do it
Hi there,
have you downloaded the full written instructions from our website? The full pattern should give you all the details necessary to finish the Satis Crochet Shawl. You can find it here: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/satis.html
I hope this helps! Have a nice day! 💕
@ExpressionFiberArts Thank you very much, I benefited a lot from it
My nationality is Arab, so it is difficult for him to understand such videos
❤️Love This Thank You❤️
You’re welcome 😊
Tq Chandi ....lovely 💕
Welcome 😊
Do you have a tutorial for this one on a knitting loom?
Hi Mari, unfortunately we don't. I'm sorry about that. 😢
Hola hermosa, m encanta tu chal me gustaria hacerlo pero no se ingles, ojala lo puedas traducir al español, te deseo Felices fiestas y un Año Nuevo lleno de bendiciones!! 🙏
Wow chandi you rock 🤟🤟🤟🤟

❤❤❤
I love this Shawl, so o bought this pattern., finding it super hard to understand the pattern, my peaks are not coming out even , there is something wrong with the pattern . I sure hope you make a full video tutorial that comes along w/the printed pattern so I can understand it.
Hi there, I'm very sorry that you're struggling with the pattern. We're not planning on adding a tutorial at this time and as far as I know the pattern is correct. Please, reach out to us via the contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/ explain in detail what is going on, and we'll do our best to help you with Satis. 🩵
Yay! I am so grateful for you and this content :)
I'm grateful for you! 🥰
So, following the pattern, I am gettingbthrough the " begin lace edging" section with one color only. The shawl is about 27 inches long and it is narrow. The widest part is 7 inches, when does it start getting wider? I have finished the first 5 times 1 through 12 in the " begin lace edging" is this right?
Hi Carolina, the shawl should increase slowly in width each row of " Begin lace edging" you work. Is it getting any wider or do you see it forming a triangle? I'm sorry you're having trouble with the Sati Shawl. 😢
I'm in the process of making this shawl and I have a question. I've always cut my yarn when I change colors but I'm carrying my yarn up the side with this pattern. I'm using three distinct colors so it isn't easy to hide the loops going up the side. I'm afraid it will look sloppy when I get it finished. Any suggestions? From anyone?
Hi Marlene, thank you for your comment. Do you think your loops might stretch out during blocking and be less visible? If not you might want to carry the yarn a bit more tightly around the edges (but not too tight so it starts puckering) .
Other than that I don't have any other suggestions. Maybe some fellow crocheters have another trick that I don't know of?
Have a nice day! 💕
@@ExpressionFiberArts Thank you! I love your patterns!
Chandi. I have a question on the pattern , so I have done 12 rows now it says repeat rows 1-12 five times with color A then it says join with color B. What if I'm only doing one color? Thank you!
Hi Carolina, thank you for your comment. If you're only working with one color you will just continue with the instructions without changing colors. After working the 5 repeats of rows 1-12 don't break your yarn and instead work rows 1-12 twelve more times in just one color.
I hope this makes sense and is helpful. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Have a wonderful day. ❤️
Can someone help me, what is the next row after the last one our Chandi taught us here.
Hi Caroline, I replied to your question below. :)
Such a beautiful pattern. Thank you Chandi for sharing your contagious beautiful energy.
Would you be able to do a video with tips on warm up and stretching for hands, fingers and arms? I have stiff fingers, with Xmas coming soon, I knit a lot to be on time for gifts and it hurts !!!! Thank you
Great idea!
Bueatiful colors

Thank you!
I love to try this but sadly i cant find a yarn like you use in here. 😔
This is the yarn kit that's featured in Satis: www.expressionfiberarts.com/products/strawflower-hues-cashsilk-sock-kit.html
Thank you
You're welcome!
Keep those crochet patterns coming! Thank you!!! How about patterns with more backpost stitches! Or cables? Thank you again. :)
We have some more coming for you! I think you will love the next one we have! It has a fun technique! ❤️
Hooray! Can't wait to see them! Merci!!
Had to give it up:( couldn't figure it out. Then I thought I could do the persephone poncho, couldn't figure out the *sk4 and * across. Definitely not good with patterns.
Hi Carolina, I'll try my best to help. First of all here is a tutorial how to read patterns, maybe this will help you understanding the instructions used in the future: ruclips.net/video/fZuOcGoTpDM/видео.html
The instructions
"*Sk 4 sts. 9 trc in next ch. Sk 4 sts. 1 sc in next ch. Repeat from * across."
mean that you will repeat working everything that is between the asterisk and the "Repeat from * across." until you reach the end of the row.
I hope this make sense and helps. Have a wonderful day! 💕
You always brighten my day with your videos. I love this pattern! Definitely will be downloading it and ordering the yarn! ❤️😀
Yay! Thank you!
I’ve been practicing this pattern and am confused. I have the beginning triangle up to the 20 sts/36 rows and the beginning lace edging part. My confusion is where the next begin lace border and with row 2: Ch 1, turn; sc in 1st 2 sc (ch 2, so 1 sc, sc in next sc) 8 times, ch 1 do NOT skip nect sc, *1 sc in next 16 sc OK my question is Where do these 16 stitches come from? And repeat from “*”? Where is the *? Your initial demo video was so helpful but then it gets more complicated and there’s no direction.
Hi Mary, thanks for your message. Are you sure you're using the most recent version of the pattern? We uploaded an update on March 28th 2024 and Row 2 of the "Begin Lace Edging" section looks different in that version. I hope this answers your question. If you have further questions please, reach out to us via the contact form at www.expressionfiberarts.com/contact-us/
Thanks and have a nice day! 💚
