We used 2 skeins of Alpaca Silk Lace weight yarn. Floaty, shimmery and airy! 604 yards each skein. We used Canvas and Purity colorways, but choose any you love. We hand-dye our yarn so shades come and go. www.expressionfiberarts.com/c...

Beautiful!! I have a question though: you said to cast on any number of stitches but since there is a combination pattern involved isn't there some sort of formula? ie: 5 plus 2 or whatever 😉 I'm relatively new to knitting and would love to give this a try 😍
The cast on for this piece is 90 sts. To make in an alternate width, cast on a multiple of 4 sts plus 2.

Hi Chandi, I only ‘discovered’ knitting last year and am working my way through your videos. This pattern is wonderful and the colours you chose for the model shawl are so beautifully subtle you barely notice the stripes. I’ve started knitting this in pearl and fuscia. Sadly because the pink is so bold the stripes are very visible, so it’s not nearly as gorgeous as yours, but hey ho, you live you learn…I’ll soldier on! Thank you for sharing these beautiful patterns with us😊

This is truly a lovely shawl, and you explained it so well. Looking forward to making it. It's easily memorized too so you're not having to constantly refer back and forth to a pattern.
