- I have a cosy Crochet Cake Yarn Shawl pattern for you today! You can use just one ball of any of the lovely Cake Yarns in a DK weight/Light Worsted weight that are available everywhere. The gorgeous colour changes in a Cake gradient yarn will do all the colour choosing for you! This pattern is very easy and beginner-friendly and perfect for a quick gift!

Your tutorials are excellent. Very clear, easy to understand, and not going super fast helps. Thank you for not stopping after 3 rows and saying just repeat rows 2 and 3. Having you take us through many rows is so important when learning a pattern. It would be nice to have a tutorial for a horizontal shawl too. Thank you for all that you do for us. Jan

Thank you! Making up a bunch for gifts. I'm using Caron Cinnamon Swirls cake yarn. Adding rows of white to finish it off. Kinda color blocking. The yarn cake is just over 400 yards, so needed more. Almost finished with my first one. Your tutorial was perfect!

Mine was a tad wonky at the beginning, so I watched the video closely and saw where I erred; one edge was straight, the other wobbly because I somehow had one extra DC on the increase side. 🤷🏽♀ Frogged and restarted, and now on about Row 55 or so!! I have only short bits of time to work on it, but it won't be long now before it's done! If I get a good photo, I will post it with a review on your Etsy page.
@@runeshadowbeth thanks for update! It can be tricky to get the increase flowing correctly but once you do, it flies along.

Hi! Blocking will sort that out. Most asymmetric shawls will curl a bit but straighten beautifully once blocked
How many rows do you have at the end?
The shawl pictured has a total of 98 rows plus final row. You can make it the size you wish:)
