OMG......I so love this show and SO miss this show! The friendship between Harold & Mr. Reese was awesome.! I'm lost without POI....wandering around like a heroin addict looking for the needle. Lord, I need help......
Was the shaking hand a bit of brilliant acting or is Michael Emerson having medical issues? Either way Finch was a bit nerdy in a cute sexy little way. Bye Mr. Finch, hope to see more of you Mr. Emerson!
Yeah, great acting or medical issues. However, KamyshovoStatePolice2; said; "I read in an interview that the shaking is an inherited tremor in his hand so nothing to worry about." Which could be true. I haven't researched the information. I only know there is an empty spot in my TV viewing this year without POI.
I think you need to rewatch season one like I did. He got his arse kicked several times, but did beat them eventually. John was great at hand to hand, but not the best. He was more an all around threat and intelligence agent, than a super fighter.
I agree with you about John remained a formidable force, plus we have to remember it was the influence of Finch and Carter that taught him not to kill but rather to wound the perpetrator. John was evolving into a more caring human being, but by no means had he lost his touch.
In the first couple of seasons most of the people he was fighting were criminals and ordinary people. Samaritan agents were specially selected for their fighting capabilities, so it makes sense it would be a more even match.
Yes, you have a point, and one thing we seem to over look. We don't want our heroes to age and they don't if they are comic book creations, but John was of flesh and bone; not a man of steel. His heart was remodeled by loss. Remember the heartbreaking ordeal when the love of his life died at the hands of her husband. John had driven her away to protect her and it backfired. They began to age John from that point on. Oh, but he was still a warrior.... wasn't he?
I love how we finally get a different voice from John, from the whisper tone, to something much different
I loved how they gave John one more realistic/Jason Borne type fight to go out with. One of the best parts of the show.

The heroic switch by John Reese
This scene just made me cry so hard. Emerson and Caviezel brought their A game to the series finale.
hated it when the show ended...one of the very few tv series i really enjoyed, looked forward to, every fucking week!
Goosebumps all the wayy. Why was this show not rated above 9.5 on imdb?
Jim Caviezel should've played Jor-El in Smallville
man, that fight scene!
Such a good scene.
took me a minute to see john make the actual switch

I read in an interview that the shaking is an inherited tremor in his hand so nothing to worry about.
Thanks for the update. It is scary to hear it is inherited... that is seldom a good thing in my world.
Great observation!!!! It totally does.
I thought it was from his gunshot or adrenaline.Hm.

Finch does realize that Reese would asphyxiate in that vault, right???
هههههههههههه HAHAHA HAHA
I don't want the series to be rebooted without the main cast. If you can't get all of the original cast then don't make it at all.
In season one John would easily win all his fights but he doesn't really at the end. Such a shame.

In Ep.2 in season 1 he gets thrown through the window of a washing salon - remember?
