I hated how the writers took our favorite characters. BUT it’s great storytelling because in real life noone in a real situation like they were in would make it until the final episode. Thanks for giving me one of the best espionage science fiction thrillers EVER big or small screen.

I for one would think that Michael Emmerson and Amy Acker would either need a crash course before starting filming their roles or the learning curve during production would be enough to make them better than others with computers.

Well, all I can say, this series ages very well. Since we have evolving AI systems like the GPT models we are really close to Samaritan. Yeah probably noone as careful as Harold.

Man, I used to love this show, but learning that Jim Caviezel is a huge POS in real life has really sucked the enjoyment I used to get from it.

Just finished re-watching it again - I had forgotten how it ended so it hit me just as hard. It really was a great show and I recommend it all the time. All the characters, and actors, were great but Fusco's arc was the best.

8 years, huh? Damn, still feels like yesterday.

'Person of Interest' is the best series I've ever watched. It's complete: excellent scripts, fantastic cast, captivating and exciting stories, which are full of action, drama, suspense, emotion, humor and science fiction. And all of this is mixed in just the right dose. I'll always be rewatching all the episodes. Thank you to everyone who helped create this fantastic series. And who knows, one day we'll even have a spin-off series of 'Person of Interest', with new stories and new characters, because the brilliant concept of the series can be expanded without any major problems.

Just bring it back already.

It's a shame Amy Acker played Root as she spoilt it. She always spoke like a smarmy arrogant spoilt brat and was not a likeable character. She was just a programmer but then she could shoot guns accurately and do hand-to-hand combat with no training. If they'd just found someone that was a little less cocky and spoke like she thought she was better than everyone else, it would have been a better series. They really should have had her character as a more relaxed and self-aware woman that was always taking orders and feeling like she's taking them, not becoming this over-acting badass that seemed to revel in thinking she was so much better than everyone else all the time. Anyway, prrp.. after Season 2 it pretty much went downhill anyway. Don't even get me started on the kid Samaritan used as a vessel.. what a muppet... "So.. where's your parents?"... "So.. why are you walking around the White-House?"... "So... why are you speaking all arrogant and cocky when all you are doing is repeating what a machine says... why are you carrying an evil emotion?".... prrrpp... PRRRP...PRRRRRr r r r r r r rp.

I know this is 8 years out of date but DAMN this show was so good. It never jumped the shark, never had an episode where I was blown away by something in it. I know the feeling that we would like a new show but….don’t it is so damn good and don’t want anything to even possibly sully that show. Great team great show. Hopeful the producers consider PERSON OF INTEREST 2.0 New Direction. The Machine misses Finch. So brings him back to life. NEW DIRECTION. Instead of numbers being churned out of imminent deaths. That need to be saved. Numbers those that are going to cause a lot of deaths unless stopped. Shaw and Reed honey trap bad guys. Corrupt big business CEO's, bureaucrats, police, judicial, tycoons, terrorists,.... Potential new team member Paul Rapovski 6.4 muscle (fought Jet Li) handsome model good looks, great in dark suit. Lady honey trapper, Bear as back up. Fusco promoted police link. Shaw and Reed have fun, sadistically teasing and torturing their targets with new novel techniques, to extract confessions and access their plans and funds. Siphoned off funds a diverted to their victim's accounts directly. Other goods deeds by team. Identifying and helping people in dire need. Such as those not having funds for life saving operation. PAY FOR THE OPERATION AND AFTER CARE. OR Single parent finding it hard to cope with household bills, mortgage after breadwinner has passed away by illness or accident. PAY OFF THE MORTGAGE AND NEST EGG TO TIDE THEM OVER. OR HELPING WAR VETERANS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CENTER. IN THE SERIES. A REAL LIFE OPTION FOR THE SHOW - THE SHOW TO HELP PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE. CHOSEN AT RANDOM ADDENDUM TO EACH EPISODE. IF POSSIBLE. WHO KNOWS THIS TREND MAY GO VIRAL FOR OTHER SHOWS TO COMPETE RATINGS AND VIEWINGS. Just some ideas for PERSON OF INTEREST 2.0.

Is there any possibility of a PERSON OF INTEREST 2.0 with a new purpose. Turning it on its head so to speak. Here's what I mean. Read to the end for PERSON OF INTEREST 3.0. With Samaritan out of the picture. The Machine 2.0. Instead of churning out numbers of people who are going to die that need to be saved. The Machine starts to churn out numbers of bad guys that need to be taken out to save many lives for example. 1. Corrupt bureaucrats, siphoning off public funds resulting in deaths for many. The machine tracking the funds and depositing them directly into the accounts where needed. Setting up a proper designer veterans home specialising in treating PTSD. From funds recovered from corrupt officials 2. Big pharma company CEO admitting to contaminating their baby products with carcinogens. Actually happened in real life. Walking free no jail time and Company still in business. Suggested Show direction $billions recovered going to victims globally. Eg Single mother a nurse, accountant hubby and young son died of cancer. Facing eviction by Bank to foreclose on home as unable to meet mortgage payments. New POI TEAM pay off the mortgage and some extra daughters education to tide things through. OR another needing an urgent life saving operation for the family breadwinner but lacking sufficient funds and after care. So he can continue to work and provide for his family after recovery. 3. Fossil fuel companies responsible climate change, wildfires, flooding, hurricane damage, drought. pay off a loan or seed money so a business does not go under after natural disaster. 4. Political leaders looking to start a war against a weaker nation that could blow up into a global conflict. Special orphanage for PTSD children and Home for survivors of war/ PTSD. 5. Catching Spies, terrorists other bad guys. Charity for the victims of terrorism. The show could set a NEW TREND by helping actual victims from TYPES of events portrayed in the show in real life. Adding a short clip at the end. 1 or 2 that you have actually helped in dire urgent need in real life during shooting. Taken from the shows profits as a good will gesture. And doing regular follow ups with their permission. Giving the show a humanitarian appeal. Consider setting up a charity fund. As not possible from the real bad guys. I hope Shaw and Bear (You shouldn't have done that), part of the new team. Both are too hot to lose, with Fusco (She was using me as a human shield. Nah he was in the way) adding to comedy with Shaw was classic humor. What drew me to the show in the first place. Reese in the train fight. A new computer geek. Can't think of anyone. Shaw and Root or other having fun, sadistically, teasing while extracting info from the baddies caught. PERSON OF INTEREST 3.0 The Machine and Samaritan join forces = TERMINATOR or OTHER?
