0:09 I believe we have a Fender radio on our hands... :-) Both the Shure and the Behringer worked well on this clean sound, the Pyle didnt have any bass, it sounded like going from a hifi system (Shure/Behringer) to a pocket radio (Pyle).
Shure sounds full bodied. Great reference. Behringer sounds close but loses some frequencies. Not a bad alternative though. Pyle doesnt sound good to me, lacks a lot of detail, not worth it.
Totally agree! I think the Behringer actually captures some low end rumble better than the Shure. But the Shure is superior. Then again, the Behringer is under $20 and the Shure is always about $100. You could buy fix Behringers for that and go crazy with mic'ing! Definitely agreed on the Pyle. I honestly don't know what to do with it now that I've done the demo.
@@levijessegonzalez3629 I think it gives more of a full range of the tone. If you capture the same tone with both mics and then try to do a lot of eq'ing and such in post then I think you'll be happier with the sound that the Shure gives. For live setups or even capturing into a Kemper or something then I think they are essentially the same mic.
That is why I bought the Pyle, I couldn't believe how bad it was. The Behringer is still the best bang for the buck in my opinion. Like I showed at the end of the video, you can doctor the Pyle a bit with a volume boost and some EQ work.
i regret buying the pyle, specially after knowing about this behringer..the pyle need lots of volume and generates too much floor noise and thin sound.. it´s pretty much useless for a classical gutar cause you must put it too close to the gutar body with a resulting proximity effect . Im gonna give it to my sister for her karaoke and im getting a behringer so i can use it with my at2020
The Pyle is a complete waste, luckily you can still buy a behringer and pyle for less than one Shure. I gave away my Shure as trade fodder in a deal not that long ago, I've switched to the e906 for recording guitar and I always have the behringer as a suitable backup.
@@MikeTJorgensen yeah, I noticed it has better low end frequencies and clarity. Would you say the Behringer is louder than the Pyle also¿¿ cause that is a big problem for me as what I want is to record classical guitar and i hate the proximity effect im getting due to the low volume levels I get from the Pyle wich force me to place it too close to the guitar PS: excuse my poor English

I think you had a bad Pyle mic. In my comparisons and others I’ve seen on RUclips, it sounds much better than that.

The Pyle is definitely rough, I'm not sure what to do with it. It isn't worth enough to sell to someone and I'm never going to use it.
@@mtjguitars Listening to the sound of the Pyle, I´d give it a try using it in CONGAS!!! You´d be amazed!
El behringer amazing sound... Increíble sonido la mejor calidad precio
No disrespect to Shure since they invented the mic, but I agree the Behringer is great!
Thanks for your testing
Anytime! I hope it was helpful!
So, buy the Behringer guys
That is my thinking, but I don't try to tell people what to buy. I just show what stuff does. I still own the shure and behringer.

The Behringer SL75C is now $29.99
That is a shame, but still well worth $30 in my opinion.
@@mtjguitars My thoughts as well.
Weird. In this video, the Pyle is terrible. But in some other ones, it is as good as the Shure.
