The 2070 super can still average 75 fps in 1440p in certain triple A games and the same fps at 1080p in heavier demanding ones. Not to mention DLSS will help an insane amount

Zen 5 is coming out in a few months and will outperform the 7800x3d in gaming and much more in everything else. You may be able to find some real good deals on ryzen 7000 clearance sales too though. The regular ryzen 7700x is already a massive improvement over a 5700g, don't feel like you have to go x3d, the extra money could go towards a 7900xt vs the 7900gre, prices will be dropping a good bit this fall when the new gen parts come out.

If they were the same price or within 10-20% I'd go for the zen 5 part. If nothing else the 7800x3d price will drop in a few months when zen 5 comes out.

Today there's enough games that run on totally different architectures that it really depends on the games you want to play on rather you should upgrade your GPU or CPU. Pro tip; if you game has hard frame pauses/chops at otherwise "good" average FPS, that's ussually the CPU and conversely if it's smooth but low FPS than it's your GPU

Last year I upgraded my 2070 to a 4070 ti. It was bottlenecked by my 8700k so upgraded that to a 14900k and found out that my 3 fan aio could not handle it. So I got a ryjion 3 cooler and now my cpu runs at 300 watts 60-80 degrees under full load. Defentley glad that I upgraded my psu when I brought the GPU
You've got a pretty powerful CPU in your rig. I'd say upgrade your GPU to a 3060 ti, 6700xt/50xt, 7700xt, cards around that range. Although I wouldn't pair it higher than probably a 4070 ti or 7800xt tbh. Kind of hard to tell without an exact price.

generational differences in intel usually aren't that big unless its a new socket then the difference is huge but the 6700 and 700 are same socket so with intel it should be only minor differences, in other words measurable but not enough to care in this situation

I ve got a rtx 4070ti super paired with ryzen 5 7500f, so far the only titles that cpu was holding back my gpu were sons of the forest and helldivers2 a bit. Its still 100+fps experience but the gpu is not being used to 100% in these. Im probably gonna upgrade with new ryzens :D

i play on 144hz 1440p monitor, and even using less powerful 2070 (first one, not super). i get 80 fps in helldivers 2, 120 in Squad. I will keep it at least for another year, and then i just gonna use it with my Dell latitude 7300 using eGPU thunderbolt dock, and its gonna be pretty powerful for fullhd gaming for another 3 years

@@frostin8615 the "1440p" cards won't even go higher than 200fps in FPS games on low settings, just cuz you don't need that doesn't mean many people don't

And in pubg pc i get 130fps on high
i play on 144hz 1440p monitor, and even using less powerful 2070 (first one, not super). i get 80 fps in helldivers 2, 120 in Squad. I will keep it at least for another year, and then i just gonna use it with my Dell latitude 7300 using eGPU thunderbolt dock, and its gonna be pretty powerful for fullhd gaming for another 3 years
To be honest, it'd be fine to wait until 50 series.

B460, 10700f, 2070s, 32 GB DDR4, decent m.2 NVME ssd. my next upgrade should be building a whole new pc on a new platform instead of upgrading current one (only way up is 10900f/k/kf and a 2080ti)
4060 should be fine but u got a ryzen7 so u should def go for a better gpu for the BALANCE
You should probably do a video on how to get drivers for your new card when you upgrade cuz I think I’m right in saying you have to clear the old one off and that step could confuse people

@@suryaganesan7900 Ryzen 7 7800x3d is about the best CPU for gaming you can get. Everything beyond it is unnecessary power you'll never use. Go for it if you can.

Just upgraded from an 1050Ti to a 3050 6Gb. Can run Cyberpunk 2077 on high graph settings with 50 fps and GTA 5 on max setting with a stable 75 fps on my 75Hz 1080p monitor.
