- First Abigail finds out thanks to Junimos. Then Caroline realizes she knows, and then Pierre finds out and isn't immediately thrilled about it. This amazing mod adds a ton of great content and some very fleshed out heart events all while maintaining the charm of Stardew Valley. Yeah that line in this mod jumped out at me too as out of character for him. The mod seems to get Abigail's character well though.

I don't understand this logic. This sounds more like a concept of what a Parent is compared to a Birth Giver or Baby Daddy. I don't know it just may be the fact I am a Surrogate child who was made with a Sperm Donner from a bank; that its not who gave birth to you and that it is who RAISED you that is your parents. The Wizard never raised Abigail, she may never see him as anything more than a Biological Father. Maybe someone to form a relationship too but never someone whom she will call Dad one day.
Pierre raised her, took care of her, provided for her, taught her how to live mostly in the world. That is a true Father, one whom she most definitely will always call "Dad" even into her older years.
No. Basically, I feel like the wizard doesn't want to change Abigail's mind on who her father is. Yes, he is her biological dad. But Pierre is the one who raised and loved her. Who doted on his wife and tried to raise both of them in stable conditions. The Wizard admires that. In any other circumstance, I'm sure he would most likely take Abigail as an apprentice of some sort.

I don't know why, but this brings me some comfort after finally returning to Stardew Valley, almost a year after I stopped playing, when I reached 384 hours. I have constantly watched his videos though even through my hiatus away from the valley.. Never give up on Stardew Valley!
I think the reason his Stardew Valley content is better than other content is the nature of the game. This game contains a lot of wholesome dialogue and DF is great at twisting it in unexpected hilarious ways.

When Abigail, Caroline and the Wizard talked about keeping it a secret, the first thing that came to my mind was the song Secret by The Pierces, specifically the sentence "two can keep a secret if one of them is dead". I have a feeling that after telling DF any secret, this sentence becomes true.
Btw, the way the wizard talked, according to caroline, that "one of the children are his", it sounded way too much like the wizard wasn't getting it on with just Caroline.

I may be in the minority here, but I think the Wizard isn't Abigail's real father, the hints in the original game are a red herring, and that there's a lot more to the story of what happened between the Witch and the Wizard.

I went on to Nexus to find some new SV mods and found this one. When I got it installed I finally realized which mod you were using in the previous video and got so excited. I'm still working on going through all the content, but it's amazing!
I know that the wizard is Abigails father thing is fake, because if you talk to Abigails mother after getting full friendship hearts with Abigail, there is a chance she will say: “Abigail was born with chestnut coloured hair, then as a teenager she dyed it purple. I think she looked better with chestnut hair!”

Yes, people put too much emphasis on biology when it comes to this subject. The people that took care of you and raised you are who made you who you are and therefore are your parents
i don't think biological vs adoptive is really that different unless you're facing some kind of cultural or racial or social issue. I guess being with biological only really shows you what kinds of diseases to expect and how you're gonna age. I personally don't identify with any of my extended family that doesn't live in my house or come to visit often. Even my cousins are basically nothing like me despite being first cousins, so i don't think you'll really see a big difference compared to non-biological family. I think for the most part it's how you mentally perceive it.
