Hey guys! I have this car, too. It’s a 0.9 twinair. I confirm that the sound is exactly like that. Very nice for a 0.9. And immagine in the dynamic mode...
I have one very similar and love it as my second car - it's quirky and full of personality, something Alfa Romeo excels at. Not your average boxy VW Polo.
Very much enjoyed your test drive, so much that I bought one. I would have liked to see a test drive using the dynamic mode. On my car in dynamic it is twice as fast, almost, turning it from a buzzing city car into a small Italian sports coupe. Driving my twin air is a whole new and enjoyable experience, but the fuel consumption is much heavier than Alfa figures, something to think about if anyone is considering a purchase
@@Miniorpernik no got a good deal to PX honestly I think I would have been more happy with the 1.4 turbo green cloverleaf, never did take to the twin air engine
@@masterkrepez7583 probably a bit too late now but my mums 0.9 gets 45mpg but she is in dynamic mode all the time since the normal mode is to slow for her. However I own a 1.4 multi air (105) and I just about get 40mpg and that’s on normal mode
I have the same 0.9 Twinair turbo engine in my Fiat Panda 4x4. I can confirm it sounds just like that. 👍😎 Not bad performance for an 875cc twin cylinder engine, think of it as like a tuned motorbike engine, so you have to keep it in the right gear, keep the revs in that happy place. 👍😎😁 I get 54.2 mpg av fuel consumption, pretty good, oh and £30 per year road tax in the UK.
@@scottjrmclaren7999 You're welcome! I'd say as a first car the Panda would be ideal, it's very easy to drive, easy to park, slightly narrower than the average car, so getting through tight gaps is a breeze. It's definitely worth having a test drive, the new 3 cylinder 1.0 mild hybrid has now replaced the 0.9 twinair unit. But there are plenty of 2nd hand bargains around.👍😎

Nice engine sound in the cabin for a 0.9 litre. Surprised.

The engine sound is really impressive with such a small car. Well done Alfa.
*Fiat. TwinAir engine was made by Fiat.
@@007JAKICA the engine is a fiat engine but that doesn't mean alfa romeo didn't do some additional work on it, like reworking the exhaust line
@@007JAKICA alfa can change the sound themselves.

Thanks to this guy I'm gonna get one cause In UK I won't pay a road tax for it so ist's boss :D
I am told the car is very poor in terms of reliability.Whats ur take on it?Do u still keep it?

@@scottjrmclaren7999 Very low! I pay £310 per year, fully comprehensive with green flag breakdown cover.

So its a twin cylinder or what?
Yes, a 105hp twin cylinder.

On the newer cars yes but the older ones have 85bhp
