Welcome back to my channel! I have really missed you guys. Since I moved into the dorms at UC Davis, I promised to film a dorm tour. I am sorry it took so long for me to film/edit/FINALLY upload the video.
A few things... I did not get the chance to film everything I wanted to. Like I mentioned, in the video, my dorm is very different from my friends who live in different residence halls or in the dorms in another part of campus. For Ryerson Hall and the other high rise buildings in the Segundo residence area, there was a study lounge on each floor. The study lounges include a small table, a big table, and a "kitchenette" which has a stove, sink, mini fridge, and a microwave. Each floor also has a laundry room, with two washing machines and two dryers. Each floor also have two bathrooms, one for men and one for women. At least for the women's bathroom, there were 4 bathroom stalls and 4 shower stalls. There was also lockers in the bathroom, which was very convenient. The set up is different for other residence halls. Each of the three residence areas (Segundo, Tercero, and Cuarto) has its own dining commons, a small market, and a services center where you can pick up packages, print, etc. Let me know if you have any questions down below in the comments, and I will do my best to answer them.

omg i love your room! i really want to go to UCDAVIS too to live out my dream of becoming an aquatic veterinarian. by chance which dorm hall do you stay in because i love the way they are set up.

Hmm possibly? The dorms in Tercero that I have seen have had separate wardrobes instead of a built in closet and drawers. Dumb question, but how do bathrooms work in the dorms?
Hi Lea, not a dumb question at all!! So basically, each floor has two bathrooms, one for men and one for women. At least for the women's bathroom, there were 4 bathroom stalls and 4 shower stalls. There was also lockers in the bathroom, which was very convenient. Not sure if the set-up is the same for all residence halls, but it was for most in Segundo. Hope this helps!

hi! do you happen to know the dimensions of the bulletin board above the bed?
I do not know the exact dimensions of the bulletin board but the room dimensions were approximately 10.5 ft. by 13.5 ft. I'm assuming since the board comprised the majority of the wall, maybe around 6 or 7 ft in length?
How do you like the location of Segundo?
I loved it! Personally, I think there are more pros to living in Segundo than in other residence halls. Segundo is right next to Rite Aid, a gas station, and the U Mall which includes Trader Joes, Forever 21, several restaurants, etc. Segundo is also next to the ARC, the UCD gym, which was really convenient :)
