I know times are kind of hard right now but if you are planning to go to Davis here is a look at what the dorms look like! My friend was kind enough to send me videos of her room and use them! She lives in Segundo (there's only doubles there atm). Her dorm room is big, spacious, and nice up on the third floor. She lives really close to the dinning commons which you can see from the room. In addition to showing her room in her dorm, she also shows the kitchen, longue, hallway, bathrooms, showers, and bike parking. I really hope this helps!
UC Davis dorms are honestly nicer than most I have seen and wanted to share what some of the dorms looked like. My dorm was in Tercero which was near STEM classes but had no light since I was on the first floor! This is my friend's room! I also could nvr keep my room that clean haha
And yess the windows are great there's way more natural light than in my room on the first floor!
i am about to through the college application process so i have been loving videos like this recently. i could not imagine having two roommates hahaha. great video!!

The mirror was there! Even my triple in tercero had a mirror but I don’t think it was full length!
I’m pretty late but do you know exactly what Hall your friend was in? I want to be in the Segundo area but not sure which specific hall :)
No worries! It’s called Bixby. Not sure if you can request specific dorms but the entire segundo is only double occasional singles. Bixby is right next to the dinning commons tho it’s a great location! Let me know if you have any other questions!

This was Bixby I think! It’s the one super close to the dining commons!!
Do you recall what hall this is? (Malcom, Ryerson, Gilmore, etc)
I don’t but it’s the one closest to the dinning call like towards the right if ur back is to the dining hall. I think it’s Bixby???
Would you recommend living in a LLC such as Casa?
Most of my friends liked their LLCs! I didn’t live in one and still made lots of friends!
So does the Segundo building mean you have 1 other roommate and Tercero mean you have 2 other roommates?
Yes, that is how it has been in the past. But with COVID I know that they will only allow singles until further notice. Not sure when this will change.
Also, there were a few singles also scattered in both Tercero and segundo but 99% of tercero was triples and 99% of segundo is doubles
