    that is a big boat, and the loading gear design is very smart

    I'm going to use a regular flat deck trailer, and build a sheet of matting for the boat to sit on, install 2 air lift rolls about halfway down the trailer deck, full width roll at the back. Why? Because I'm going to be carrying a heavy load of gear, and lauch with all that stuff in the boat, the straps under to pull on the transom work for this well, but I can tie the boat to the matt as it comes up, and pull on the matt. The other reason being that I can use the trailer for other things when not using the boat.

    Awesome setup. What are those types of hinges called and the locking mechanisms? Also how does it perform with the engine on?

      Thanks for the kind words. Which hinges do you mean? ☺️ Most of them are home made. It do perform very well with the 74kg 40hp motor. But the 30L fuel tank need to go up front to ease it, if it's full or close to full.
      I actually just re-designed the ramps, and now they are made in aluminium, and with fewer wheels. Mainly to weight reduction as the wheels are very heavy and only the two on top needed a double pair, and only 4 single mounted on the inside ☺️

      @@OmeMachining would love to see a video of the new setup.

    This is very ingenious. Thank you for sharing!!
    Did you make the trailer yourself? Would love to buy one like it 😁🙏🙏🙏

      Thanks allot ☺️🙏 no the trailer is bought. Made for classfiber types with plastic rollers to load/unload on. ☺️
      But of course fitted with planks and rollers to fit our sib ☺️

    Genius!!! What size is your SIB?

    • @OmeMachining
      @OmeMachining  2 года назад +1

      Thanks allot ☺️ it's 5m long and 2m wide. Weight is 180kg and motor is 74kg+30L gasoline ☺️ we also carry a extra 2.5hp mariner for safety, and other safety accessories. So it's on the heavy side ☺️ but still the 40hp get it to plane very fast

    If treating SIB like a RIB, may as well get a RIB. Excellent engineering though. Well done.

      Why do you think I treat the sib like a rib? 😊

    Where do you put the straps that mount to the transom while in the water??

    • @OmeMachining
      @OmeMachining  3 года назад +1

      I put them on right before loading. It's a two piece strap that end in one in the front. The end where they are tied together is then tied to the front, and then each one is being pulled down the side, under the tubes and then to the transom/motor. Hope it makes sense. It's a 30sec task for each side. 😊
