Just saying. Most Nightwish songs nowadays are mid-tempo song. I just hope Nightwish return to this power metal songs with less orchestra and more band oriented. Just like the glorious days of Oceanborn and Wishmaster.

Emppu uses three guitars one for warming up one as a back up and one for the Stage if he would Play the old Songs im e standart they would Need 6 guitars. I am sure he owns enough guitars but it is hard to Carry the guitars Arround the world.

Floor is so great. She walks the line between Tarja and Anette so well. She can pull off the more operatic songs but also nail all of the Anette songs.
Plus she can fucking growl. If you think about how versatile a vocalist she is she's imo a better singer than Tarja and Anette combined. She's amazing and an absolute perfect fit for Nightwish.

Floors voice and stage presence is mesmerizing! This line up is pure perfection accompanied by a light show that made me feel like I'm watching the Northern Lights. So magical. To witness that show in person must have been an epic experience.

But Floor is as good as Tarja in the operatic range (although with a lighter color voice), but can do much more beside that (belting, mixed voice, distortion, growling, etc. etc. ) things that Tarja can not do...
Had the privilege of hearing this song when they played in OK City in 2016. As soon as Tuomas started in with the first few notes, I immediately lost my shit. Whatever doubt I may have had at the time about Floor was smashed like a folding chair at a wrestling match.
What I dream of is a Nightwish concert with full Orchestra and choir behind it. Metallica S&M, Hans Zimmer style. Oh how great would that be! In the meantime, Im content with having been to two shows of this tour and the upcoming earbook!
Tarja was lacking vocal range. That's what I realise now. I listen to old Nightwish albums a lot, but it's more due to nostalgia than missing Tarja. After a while all her songs start to sound similar with high pitched soprano voice. Sure that's what got me into Nightwish at first, Symphonic Metal, but now, ever since Floor came in, I don't miss Tarja at all. In fact I feel Floor is best singer Nightwish had, combining both Tarja/Annette worlds. She has vocal range to cover Tarja (maybe not on par with Tarja) and Annette songs. Oh and considering that Floor is pregnant, she nailed this song (Stargazers) here. ;]
I really need to mention Kai as well! Drummers rarely get much recognition, but WOW! I think the man is a robot! His timing and his consistency behind the kit is inhuman! lol Nightwish couldn't have found anyone better! It should be against the law for any single band to have so much talent;)

Yeah, but it's played in a lower tone mainly because Emppu (and Marco) doesn't want to change his guitar during the gigs.
They tried it on the last album during the recordings but it did not fit the songs as they said. She was not "diminished".
