    Boneless chicken breasts
    Barbecue sauce
    Potatoes, chopped
    Cheddar cheese, shredded
    Onion, diced
    Salt and pepper
    A bit of olive oil
    frozen corn on the cob
    plenty of foil
    Instructions
Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
Pour on some barbecue sauce. You don't want to add too much, because the goal is to have as little liquid as possible in the bottom of the pot.
Stir the potatoes, a bit of olive oil, onion, cheese and salt and pepper together in a bowl.
Make a large packet out of foil and wrap the potatoes in it, loosely.
    Wrap each corn in foil.
Place the potato packet on top of the chicken. Add the corn.
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 7-8.
Delicious. Consider putting corn in a little later if you are at home to do so

Imu, which is a pit that we cook food in in Hawaii. It gives off a nice smoky, musty flavorful scent.

Very good. my cousin tried it before me, and warned of the underdone potatoes, and she recommended a minute and a half in the microwave with olive oil, prior to the rest of ingredients and crock pot. It worked and the potatoes were done, and good. This site is in a dead heat with Cook n Share with me, as far as simple and delicious. The Sesame crock pot chicken here, makes it a tie. I'm a guy who is a good cook, who doesnt like to cook, only the results. The easier the better. This is a keeper, Thanks

enjoyed this, I may try it with my favorite BBQ sauce, Stubb's, and put the potatoes at the bottom and the corn around, using fresh corn (because it takes longer to cook), and then put the chicken on top, so the fluids cook into the corn and potatoes and the bbq stays on the chicken a bit better.

Hi a Brit here fairly new to slow cooker. I hated bbq sauce for years, found it so sickly. Then my partner bought a bottle of "Newman's Own" bbq sauce and I am now devoted to that. I am going to try your recipe probably using parchment in place of foil. I bought mini corn shaped corn pins to eat my corns and they are so cute and useful. I have tried slow pork roast in my pot and a whole baby chicken which was amazing. And slow chilli con Carne was so intense and moreish. Traditional curry is taken to another level as the slow process lets the spices develope and penetrate the meats. Thanks.

I like the idea of a whole meal in one slow-cooker; however, there is great danger in wrapping food in the foil. May I suggest that you first wrap it in parchment paper & then in the foil with a layer of parchment paper over the chicken before placing the potato packet in the pot? I might even try using parchment paper only & see how it works.

I tried this recipe and the way you seasoned with barely the BBQ brand you recommended just on one side only, the result is bland chicken, hospital like meal. I added to to my 3 chicken breasts more BBQ sauce massaging the meat both sides with the sauce and cooked for 7 1/: hours, without anything else. No water, no broth, just the breasts but when they were cooked I saw a substantial amount of liquid. Even so, they tasted a bit bland so I had to brush my meat with a bit more with the BBQ sauce you recommended and finally tasted good.

@Paula Johnson Yes, I think letting the chicken marinade in fridge overnight may help. But other than that no seasoning is needed. The BBQ sauce does it all.
I like to add small/medium onion chunks to mine, let all of that BBQ sauce goodness soak in everything. I make white potatoes for my hubby but I don't care for them so I make sweet potatoes for myself. Easy anytime of the year meal. I love my crockpot in the summer, I don't like cooking oven meals in summer. This is a great meal to come home to in the autumn after a brisk walk in the woods. Good spring, summer, fall and winter. Yum!!!

Thank you!! This looks great. I would use chicken breast or legs. To much fat from the thighs. And I would add garlic to the potatoes.

Hi friend. I have 2 questions please. Does the corn need to be frozen? And does the chicken need to be boneless. Cuz this looks amazing! Thank You!

I know this is an older video, but can you do this with other meats as well? Thank you for sharing this. I'm trying this.

wouldnt the foil react to the BBQ sauce kinda like it does with a tomato sauce?
