It's ironic. Today they announced the pristine edition. Basicly a delux version of the game. New animations, new princesses, new voice lines, expanded paths.
And it’s coming to consoles!

Pristine cut, and it's going to replace the base game on Steam. They actually announced it a few months ago during a livestream with the voice actors but now theu have a release window.
To be more specific it adds about 35% of content in includes a lot of stuff they wanted to put in before but couldn't due to time constraints. This includes:
3 new chapter 3 princesses, each from Damsel, Prisoner and Spectre as they currently only have one shared with another (Damsel and Prisoner both lead to Grey while Spectre leads to Wraith along with Nightmare)
3 expanded chapter 3's which they haven't gotten yet; Fury, Apotheosis and Den.
A new ending.
Edit: Devs confirmed it's about 35% not 25% so I updated the comment accordingly
You actually can't get the good ending if you already got your first vessel. It will say you still got a job to do and you will continue on the specter route.
If you kill the prisoner the same thing happens but Skeptic pulls you out and says we need to get out of here, which leads to Drowned Grey
So if I may, I suggest you pick up The Nightmare, which you almost got the first time, when you decide to lock her in instead of killing her. She's my very favorite. Other faves include: The Tower and fan beloved The Thorn.
The ending where you leave does have a feel of being the "true" end, at least to me.
That'd also be the godhood ending since you're both together in hiht endings

i think if you encounter the Many hands lady, then you prevent the " good ending ", because you have alred committed to her completion or something
Yep. And you can do it after killing prisoner but it's Skeptic who pulls you out
The number of timelines and options in this game is actually wild
There are 10 chapter 2 and 11 chapter 3 (technically 12 but two of them are basically the same) and every chapter 2 besides stranger can go into 1 or 2 chapter 3 and some chapter 2 can go into the same chapter 3 and will change which voices you have for it.
In fact almost any choice you make going into the 3rd chapter affects which voice you're going to get, and you can get the corresponding voice from the other 2nd chapter. For example; if you go into Wraith after trying to kill Spectre, you get Cheated, as well as Cold from said chapter; if not, then you get Paranoid; if you kill Nightmare downstairs and get to Wraith then Cold joins; if you kill her upstairs, Opportunist joins.
Also, they're adding 3 more chapter 3's, one each for Damsel, Prisoner and Spectre.
I didn't know that the Princess you met at the end of the run changed based on whoever you got first. I think every playthrough I've seen except for this one had the same Princess
1:00:51 There is one route for each voice except the Hero since you start out with him, and then various routes that split off into one or more Chapter IIIs, and at least 2 that go even further beyond (like the Razor)

I hope you guys still do the Nightmare and go with one of its endings. The Voice of the Paranoid is one of my favorites.
Had they not chosen to try and kill Spectre and instead refused her possession or upset her by telling her they're leaving, they would've gotten Wraith with Paranoid.
Honestly, I expected the bad ending first!

I hope you continue for a bit even with the update announced, theres plenty of content for you to play it a few more times if thats a concern
Is this series going to go on a hiatus (like Rain Code did), due to the announcement today, if so It might be for the best
Oh no, there's loads they haven't seen yet. Best to exhaust every option before q4
