So let me get this straight, she gets a DUI, gets her license revoked, then got caught driving while revoked, was given a court date, didn't show up, continues to drive while revoked, gets pulled over, gives the cop a fake name, makes the cop search the fake name multiple times, gives her real name, has an active warrant and still nothing happens to her. Why don't the laws apply the same to everyone?

Last Sunday, as a tragic consequence of a horrible car accident on the Highway 666 three people lost their lives.
It was a young couple and their 4 years old little daughter. All three suffered lethal injuries and died that very same night in a nearby hospital.
The reckless driver who was responsible for the accident had a history of DUI but allegedly, he wasn't driving under the influence of drugs nor alcohol. He had his license revoked several months before for DUI, which didn't stop him to get into a car and drive the whole time as if nothing happened. Even after he was caught driving with his license revoked and was given a date in court he didn't show up and kept driving.
4th day in court, a brief statement from Janina Contessini, a member of the victims' family:
"Dang, Your Honor, in my opinion I think everyone should be shown compassion and/or understanding from time to time in situations like this."

Considering the circumstances, she got off WAY too easily. A. She repeatedly lied about her identity, which is obstruction of justice. B. She was driving on a revoked license. C. She failed to show up for her court date. D. She had a warrant out for her arrest. E. She was driving the wrong way, which could have seriously injured or even killed someone as well as herself and her sister. How is she walking away from this???? She should have immediately had the metal bracelets slapped on her, be thrown in the back of the cruiser, and had her ass hauled off to jail! What a joke.

On the one hand I do like when cops use their discretion to go for sig bond instead of hauling people in.
On the other hand, when you look at her reaction to being held accountable for her obstruction 11:49, I think she could do with a few more consequences.

it is strictly forbidden to drive a car in Europe without a license and ID, that alone will cost you a few hundred dollars in fines, in the USA nobody seems to have any License and IDs with them

Same here in America, it's illegal to drive without a license. Police also issue tickets, can have the car impounded which could lead to thousands of dollars in fines.
