The guy was 3 miles from OSU Campus' main drag. I'm shocked they didn't have a plan to stop him before he got there (plenty of armored SWAT around either OSU police or CPD for campus lockdowns). He would have definitely killed somebody if he made it that far.
When he got over to the farm left, I wondered why they didn't try to take out steer axle or driver axle tires. That would of made fleeing tougher. Losing tractor tires are a bitch.
Media holds professional and legal integrity by stating this was an "alleged chase and crash". Good thing they did that so there was no mistaken accusations¡
Back around the late 80's there was another chase of a semi down High street. It started way up at the old truck stop by Hyatts Rd. on Rt 23 (High St. turns into Rt. 23). It was on a Friday night, and the Highway patrol, Delaware Co. Sheriffs, Franklin Co. Sheriffs, Worthington PD, and CPD were all chasing him. They had a CFD ladder truck go to Arcadia and High to block the Road so he wouldn't make it to the OSU campus, where thousands of students would be on the streets and in bars on High St. He crashed when an OHP trooper rammed his front tires, causing him to crash into an Art store near Weber Rd. on High St. The guy had kidnapped a woman, and was at the truck stop in a semi.

Nothing to see really. Truck is finally stopped at 15:00. Everything before that is just watching the truck driving away. We don’t even get to see an arrest.

If you notice @6:58 you will see a car slide from under the trailer of the of the truck meaning that it might be victims in that car, because you can hear the cop saying we got victims out here 🤔🤦🏿
That was a chain-link fence that he had ran over & got snagged up under the trailer prior to police involvement. He was in a residential neighborhood & had trouble making some corners & struck a building with the long 53-foot trailer. That's what the cops were getting dispatched to when the video starts. Then Billy Big Rigger just takes off driving like an idiot aiming at everything that gets in his way with the chain-link fence as a dragon tail swiping at things as he passes, until it finally falls out from under the trailer just after ole Billy Big Rigger goes airborne flying oner the traffic circle. That's what was causing the sparks. The big white thig that fell off from under the trailer was an aluminum shield to protect the cars from crashing under the side of the trailer & they also help for aero dynamics for airflow increasing your fuel mileage.
