  • www.tedxlausanne.org - While dealing with our challenges requires a great deal of serious thinking, it is refreshing that, in these complex and troubling times, there are people around injecting a strong dose of craziness and humor into the mix.
Steve Edge (www.steve-edge.com/), a severe dyslexic who has never read a book (nor, presumably, a video blurb; we resist the temptation...), runs a highly creative design agency based in East London. We didn't know exactly what he had in store for his talk when adding him to our program, but he assures us that his message would be uplifting. Coming from a man who dresses like every day is a party, we are glad that we accepted him to be with us.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

So proud to live across the street from this incredible man’s studio. He is an inspiration of style, creativity and kindness. Always dressed so beautifully and elegantly. All the years after this talk he still truly does keep his words.

That's true. I live in a bicycle friendly city. I'm a big guy, with average height. I have switched to a foldable kick-scooter which is practical to fold up and get on the bus/metro/tram. Almost every day someone starts chatting with me about this simple and practical kick-scooter.

As always you are such an inspiration! Always have been always will be. This a great talk with some very profound messages wrapped up and delivered as if it were a ‘gift for a party’ fitting for your philosophy behind a great dress code;)x

The phrase in question is almost always taken as a negative but it is as much a positive. A person does reap what they sow . Sometimes its instant and sometimes it takes a lifetime

Brilliant talk. Love! And... did anyone else notice at the 3:30 mark that Steve Edge is in the audience watching his own talk? Some editor had a sense of humor.

I love your speech albeit I am a little cynical and I give back and think I will get rewarded in heaven, as I think giving in business is not always appreciated

I'd rather listen to this bloke give a talk, than some of these boring "young things", throwing their zeitgeist soundbytes about. Proves, that older people really are better raconteurs - and have actually lived some life to talk about!

I hope Karma is real because my mom was such an abusive, neglectful, and dysfunctional parent. I'm looking forward to her suffering what she put me through.

Jason Gafar that’s the complete opposite of how you as an individual should see karma
