  • "Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of spontaneous feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility."
Neha Krishana Kumar is an eclectic personality, who is an Architect by profession, but she is a poet-philosopher by disposition.
In the talk Neha Krishana Kumar reflects upon the profoundness of the great mythological poem 'Thr Bhagavad Gita', certain passages from the epic are brought to the fore, to realize their worth and their divine applicability which has stood the test of time, and shall echo in the annals of literary history. Neha Krishna Kumar is an eclectic personality who is an architect by training but is inclined towards disseminating knowledge and wherewithal necessary about poetry and prose. She runs a venture called 'Pratyancha'; which through its unconventional pedagogy furthers the understanding of poetry and philosophy. The courses broaden the horizon by defining poetic crux and by unearthing the worldliness within by the way of philosophical perception. She is also a guest lecturer at the School of Architecture, CEPT, retracing her steps back to the institute. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Karma is an Action. Manifested it will act upon our words and wishes ! To all around ! So karma in simple words is ~ You are the Creator ! Creator of your own Karma ! Reap what you Sow ! So Karma in a better sense is ~ You started something in some Reincarnation and then didnt end it. End in a sense I let you Go in Love and Light ! Without the Love Light goodbye they will keep returning in every Reincarnation in different forms and relationship to YOU ! This is Karma !

Some of the most important and higher aspects of Srimad Bhagavad Gita have never been touched any of the TED talkers. Seems their knowledge is not even basic, and they use this platform to lecture others and expose themselves.

Bhagvad Gita is vast and deep and you cannot explain the whole Gita in one video itself...So she chose only a part of the Gita, she chose the theme Karma and is explaining in detail...

It's very clear....just that we do not pay attention and try to truly understand the depth of words & thoughts contained in Bhagwad Gita....... come to think of it even a simple process of making tea or coffee requires one to understand the entire process and discipline required.....and here we are talking of the total truth of time, life, death, existence, evolution and Moksha itself........obviously it would require effort and discipline to understand it even partially.....

    • @randomguy1601

When Krishna talks about Karma in Gita, an odor of racism comes out of his mouth. Krishna karma refers to the caste system. Suppose my father was a Berger, then it's my karma is to be a Beggar too. Your duty is a must. The term karma in Gita refers to Duty. It is just to maintain the caste system.
