The reason why Thor vs WW is a thing is because it’s been a huge debate for decades, due to them both being children of Gods, gods themselves, wielding mythical weapons, and are two of the strongest members of both Avengers and JLA. Also, while non canon they could potentially bring up that in one instance, Wonder Woman has lifted Mjolnir in Marvel vs DC and unlike Superman doing it in Avengers vs Justice League, it wasn't a one time deal to try and save the universe, WW just found it and was worthy of it so again, non canon but a thing to consider.

Hey ris, hope this helps excite you for the next DB, it's a Torrian Animation. As for the rehashing two characters, im guessing they needed an easy one to help them get ahead for the imminent finale episode. I listen to their podcasts and this seems very plausible to me
Oh also, the animation STUDIO behind this death battle was Blind Ferret, hand drawn animators. I recommend a music video done by them (nearly a decade ago) called Slaughter Your World, a WOW parody using The Little Mermaid music. Gorey but funny.

I'm a bit disappointed that they choose to do Thor (and it's not even Jane Foster Thor) vs Wonder Woman for the early of October instead having a horror iconic characters in death battle to match the season maybe they can do something for late October early November.
While I'd also prefer newer combatants and also would like a Halloween Death Battle I'm at least glad they are using actual Thor, especially since I'm sure Jane Foster doesn't have the feats to compare to either of them so it'd make it obvious that Wonder Woman stomps. I've also heard that this was inspired by a debate between Gal Gadot and Chris Hemsworth over their respective characters and Chris plays Thor, not Jane Foster so if that's true then it makes sense why they picked Thor. Also Thor and Diana have more in common than her and Jane Foster anyway.
SSX REAPER Honestly at first I thought that was a stomp in Jasons favor, unkillable zombie vs human with a knife, but after looking at a fan Death Battle of Myers vs Jack Baker from RE 7, while I still think Jason would win, its a lot closer to me.
yeah Michael is like Jason but more human body. One notable thing about Jason is that usually he always dies whereas Michael Myers usually does not die, Jason just happens to come back. At least that's what I think.
I thought mcgruff might of try to used something to help him out but I was wrong oh well he'll be remembered somewhere lol. And Thor vs wonder woman its a battle of god hero's and its a winner vs loser fight just so u know ris. Plus batman fought twice and shadow the hedgehog ( didnt like it when they brought him back to fight mewtwo) and reviving match was boba fett vs Samus aran just to help you out
ya almost said Mcgruff had the strength and speed of a Bassett hound. if that were true the match woulda been over before the bell. unless Smokey was fighting Droopy Dog, that dudes tough.
Long time no see... I'm just gonna point out a few things and head to bed. The animation was done by Blind Ferret. I've heard about their animations in the past but I haven't checked them out. Maybe it's time that I should. Second, it was Batman who has fought twice (vs Spiderman and then Captain America) and not the Cap. And finally, Torrian will be animation WW vs Thor so this should be great... or then not. Marvel vs DC fights never seem to go well in the fandoms. Personally I'm not too fond of this battle but maybe Screwattack can surprise me like they did with Balrog vs TJ Combo. If WW is able to wield/destroy Mjolnir then that would give her a massive advantage. If not, I feel like Thor has this one. (One of WW's weaknesses is that she will lose all her powers if she's tied up by a man.) Then again, my comic knowledge is next to nothing so I'll leave it to the professionals to do the speculating. Catch you later!
Honestly Ris until you pointed it out I would have never even thought about the fact that they were 2 previously used characters. Let alone have it bother me. I don't understand that way of thinking, where having old characters return be an issue in any way. I mean it literally means nothing. so what right?
This is the first time two character from two different death battles are fighting each other. Also Wonder Woman vs Rouge was I think ep 4 and by then she has all new material from the New 52 ( as the new 52 was just starting when it came out) and Rebirth. Also its a popular debate and they fought in the comics once before. Wonder Woman movie just came out on DVD and Thor movie is coming up. Also this will be a 3D death battle.
If you watch Death Battle Cast each week they said this is one of 5 planed erly battles that seemed more funny then serous but they still did the research and got more then they thought for this fight, and puns ;)
Both are based around an old mythology, Norse and Greek respectively. Both are heroes who are a part of their universes most popular team. Both are gods (in some iterations WW is a god) who are the children of the leader of their pantheon (Zeus and Odin) and they both use magical weapons and armor as well as having a 'rage' mode that boost their strengths and fury. They are both comparable enough to Superman and from what I have heard there was a recent Twitter debate among the movie actors who plays them who determined that WW wins so the next fight could be SA weighing in on that, they've done it at least three other times with one being more of a joke,
I feel like the next fight is going to be pretty interesting and considering that it's a 3D fight but going back to the returning combatants like we have gotten a few returners like for example we saw the return of Leonardo, Batman, Bobo Fett, Samus, Goku, Superman, Charizard, Shadow, Deadpool and more recently Metal Sonic but me personally, I'm fine with returning combatants but I'm more in favor of returning losers like Wonder Woman for example and I'm ok with returning winners but they need a reason to come back like how Leonardo and Metal Sonic came back since Metal was part of Eggman's arsenal in the latter's fight with Wily but eventually he became his own combatant when he battled against Zero just a few episodes ago and Leo came back because there was a poll that was made prior to the TMNT Battle Royale saying who should the winning Turtle battle after the royale.
Batman, Vegeta and some others have been in DB more than once so why not Thor and Wonder Woman. Besides both are children of gods. Thor's father is Odin while Wonder Woman's father is Zeus. Both are also gods themselves with mythical weapons. Thor has Mjölnir and Wonder Woman has God Killer. So that match up makes sense. I am still waiting that Aquaman vs Namor (Kings of Atlantis) that people have been wanting for years.
We were both right about the winner but I what made me question myself was McGruff's forcefield, superior speed, and weather he could run during time stop (even though he couldn't attack during it). I enjoy your reactions please tell me what you think of my comments.
I also found Thor vs Wonder Woman to be a bit of an odd choice. While I'm thrilled to see them both return to Death Battle, I think they could've chosen more appropriate opponents for them: I would've liked to see Thor vs Shazam or Wonder Woman vs Kratos. As for who I think will win, I'm gonna have to give it to Thor; while they seemed to be more or less matched in physical strength and durability (I'd say Thor probably has a slight edge in that category, but not enough to completely outclass WW), I think Thor's greater wealth of combat experience earned on the battlefield will be a deciding factor. Not to mention the fact his hammer is just so rediculously overpowered; Wonder Woman may have a more varied arsenal than Thor, but none of her standard equipment can really match Mjolnir.
I think they're doing Thor vs Wonder Woman because in the DCEU she's the daughter of Zeus, and they can't have Thor fight Zeus because Zeus is immortal and Thor is not. Norse gods can't die of old age or anything as long as they regularly eat golden apples, but they can be killed in battle.
DCEU established the rule that only a God can kill another god. so zeus can die and it would never have been a fight between thor and Zeus, that fight would be Odin vs zeus.
Honestly I'm fine with thor vs WW because the rouge vs WW was over 6 years ago and DC has updated her alot lately plus rouge and WW don't really have a lot in common beside hot superhero babes with powers and are in a super team Thor vs rayden was a stomp for thor and the only thing they had in common was they're both god of thunder and protector of earth/realm with lighting powers While I don't dislike those episodes but they're both from early seasons of death battle where they were still trying to figure out their footing
So overall I'm actually excited for the next episode because it's a battle that makes sense for both characters Both are from comic books that uses norse/greek mythology, both are child of the Kings of those mythology (Odin/Zeus), both are born and raised in a mysterious land filled with well trained warriors that is hidden from the human world (asgard/ themyscira), both are royalty and are unfamiliar with the modern world, both want to protect humans and joined famous super teams (avengers/ justice League), both wield magical items that defines the character (mjolnir/ lasso of truth), both have secret identity that starts with the letter D (donald blake/ Diana prince), both are consider one of the strongest characters from their respective universes, have the ability to fly at Supersonic speed, both are very durable and regularly fight threats to the entire earth, both of them also have a "warrior rage" where if a battle last too longe they become outrage and go into a blinding rage and become out of control So they both have a LOT in common
The biggest problem is that it greatly depends on which Thor they use 1) If they use standard Worthy Thor, he has a slight advantage in power, durability, and powerset but slightly loses in speed and combat ability. 2) Unworthy Odinson, loses in just about everything. 3) Rune King Thor completely destroys in everything.
I held out hopes that McGruff would pull out a win due to his hidden combat skills and speed as a dog. The battle was a bit predictable though considering that it's still just a dog vs a bear.
To be fair Wonder Woman debuted in the *third* episode. If you rewatch her analysis in that episode, its not good and hardly up to par for what we normally get. Rewatch Samus VS Boba Fett Remastered and there is a clear improvement in the analysis for that episode, then the first matchup they did with those characters.
One thing that makes Thor vs Wonder Woman an interesting fight is that they both are associated with gods, and another thing is that Thor is based off of Norse mythology and Wonder Woman is based off of Greek mythology. And I also think it'll be interesting to see because both are actually very close matched and we can clearly see since Wonder Woman has been able to show strength less than or equal to that of superman and was even able to beat him in combat due to her superior fighting skill.
Thor and Wonder Woman are 'rivals' because both superheroes who are children of mythologies that existed before Marvel or DC - Norse and Greek mythology. Both were born from Gods in an ancient society apart from mankind, but choose to leave home to protect humanity. Both are considered magical warriors, both are very naive about modern day Earth, both fight using magical armor and weapons that can produce lightning and allow them to fly. Etc. Not to mention Marvel v DC.
While it is two repeats, they have new feats to draw from and their research should be better so you'll learn some new stuff and it'll be 3D animated from what I heard. This, also from what I heard is due to a debate between Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman actor) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor actor) on who would win between their characters and they decided that Wonder Woman would win. If this claim is true, Screwattack is basically weighing in their opinions, they've done it three times before with the Vegeta vs Mewtwo thing though that was a joke and in the second Goku vs Superman they brought up a debate about who'd win which said Supes would die in a fall to the moon and they in turn brought up a feat where Superman wasn't even bothered by it. I share your feeling where it's off that it's two older characters but they do have similarities and new feats so even the stuff you do remember, there will be different things as well.
I'll tell you what McGruff could've done to counter Smokey's growth power: Flip on his reality switch, have everyone in the real world see the giant bear, and shoot him down with helicopters and fighter jets like they did with King Kong.
Some say Thor vs Superman is the 2nd most controversial match of all time. Some say easy win for Thor because magic; some say easy win for Superman because speed (and both would be correct depending on who is writing the story). However WonderWoman being ancient demigod/god like Thor has even more in common. Also recent movies and comics have added some important things about both since those death battles came out. Most importantly even though I like WonderWoman better I thought her only advantages would be speed and skill; but now I think she might have a chance now that she has been retconned as a god killer!
Wonder woman vs thor? I'd say ww takes it, due to her far better speed. Speed equalized it would be tough to call, but thor is simply pretty damn slow in combat, so yeah, her speed will probably net her the win
For next time, i kinda agree for 2 characters weve seen go against each other since we now already know about most of their feats, but at the same time i dont mind because obviusly there characters have grown and become more powerfull since last time. But next death battle is still weird because, why wonder woman vs thor? I just dont see why people wanted that
children of gods, there are a few of them so understandable but still a weak connection. overpowered... that kinda goes for any super hero, god or villain so poor excuse. fight gods also poor exuse there are way too many characters that fight gods for that to be something specific to them. Mythical weapons... im pretty sure those exist everywere. Soo children of gods is the only connection between them? Again kinda weak so you can see why i just dont see people wanting the battle.
Ok that sound better and now that you mention it they did kinda have their destiny made for them, ok i guess i kinda understand now didnt really think of the aspect of THIS IS YOUR DESTINY deal which im dissapointed in myself for not thinking about since that was the main theme for the thor movie
Zeus is from Greek mythology, Odin is from Norse mythology, both are known for fathering many children some gods some Demi gods. it is also a DC vs marvel fight that being said thor is also from Norse mythology, while wonder Woman is not from Greek mythology. they should of made it a fight between Thor and Hercules. DC comics has a version of Hercules. but there are no movies for that, so the real reason this death battle exist is because the wonder woman movie was popular and they can get a lot of views.
Thor vs wonder woman I have to go with wonder woman.... she has picked up mjolnir before (i know it was cannon, but it does show that it is a possibility) and with out mjolnir thor gets f-ed.. thor would lose his power to fly an amount of defense and offensive capabilities... and he be getting hit by his own weapon..... wonder woman has a lot more going for her and thor relies too much on his hammer. This is just me with basic understanding of both characters using my general knowledge w/o research
It amazes me that they managed to get the English voice actors for both Piccolo and Hercule to voice Smokey and the McGruff.
"Remember kids....remember me."
i was so sad when he said that, but also laughing my ass off.
he just accepted his death and reconciled with it, and just let it happen.
No. I'm good. Bye doggo.

Bears are freacking bears
- Ris, 2017
That's how bears work.
Wait did he swear? I usually skip to the fight unless it's something I'm interested in seeing his reaction to lol.
C2HGaming freaking is not really a curse
Only *YOU* are a worthy challenger...
That would have been such a great opening line...
Remember kids
Never pick a fight with a bear
You will lose
EVERY
TIME
Unless you have a large bore gun like a 45-70, 44 mag, 30-06, 454 casul etc
Unless you have a bear trap. Or bear spray. Or a gun.
Ryan TheTourist unless you have an RPH
Rpg
Unless you are a Tekken fighter, they can beat Kuma (Bears)
"Not even you could prevent THIS!!"
"remember kids, remember me"
Since Ris can pause the death battle to add his commentary, does that mean he can manipulate time like McGruff? :o

I'm not sure who's going to win, neither Thor nor Wonder Woman are exactly pushovers.

Moral of the story
Bears beat dogs
Ten dogs working together could kill a bear. In fact, in the Middle Ages through the 18th century such was considered quality entertainment.
and ten bears working together would tear a dog to pieces
Definitely. But ten dogs against one bear would be a fair fight.
Jarrett Smith and 10 bears vs 10 dogs would end in 10 very well fed bears.
At the very end of the Smokey synopsis whiz missed another pun the last thing you want is an 8 foot bear with a shovel and a grudge......to BEAR.
Smokey bearly even tried.
King Daccin nice bear pun lol
I can't *bear* these puns anymore
oh man these puns are getting unbearable.
Reminds me of Teddie from Persona 4. Always with the bear puns. ^_^
people used that old pun BEARlions of times
King Daccin this was bearly fair to scruff
Both Wonder Woman and Thor are mythological based characters. The Amazon warrior women were originated from Greek mythology. While as Thor is originated from Norse Mythology. So its basically a mythological fight base on reference that ties to characters' origin.
'"he tore the tree down with his BEAR hands." oh no, not you too.
I knew Smokey would win the instant i saw the size manipulation thing. I knew at that point that McGruff would go the way of Ol' Yeller.
A bear’s nose is 40X stronger than a bloodhound BUT Bloodhounds can run faster at a top speed of 45mph.
Both are God's, one from marvel ,the other from DC.
Both fight for humanity
Both are worthy
Both are royalty.
Both fight other God's and other magical creatures, demons, and they both are in a special team to protect the world/universe(multiverse)
I think those are the reasons why Thor vs Wonder Woman is requested alot.
and both have already participated in death battle, but that one probably wasn't a factor
Both have also used that hammer at least once.
I think they overlooked something with the Jenny commercial. Jenny is seen walking away afterwards, which means she didn't get in the car, which means she wasn't kidnapped. McGruff was demonstrating that it could have been bad if she didn't obey safety rules, which she did. Though I suppose that's just him narrating and doesn't impact his powers.
BUT SHE COULD HAVE CHANGE HER MIND OR THEY COULD HAVE SNATCHED HER UP?!
@@exaltedfalcheon1793 No idea. I just remember the commercial ending with her walking away

They are both warrior gods
Boomstick where do you think the constellations Ursa Major and Minor, the bear constellations come from.
Captain America only fought once.
First, Scruff is McGruff's nephew, and second, Thor and Wonder Woman both have god-like powers and abilities, hence Thor being the Norse God of Thunder and Wonder Woman has connections from Zeus in Greek mythology
Thor and Wonder woman are both deities in Marvel and DC respectively.
Um, Scruff is McGruff's nephew, Ris, not McGruff himself.
Jarrett Smith When did that happen? I always remember that just being his first name.
Look up "Scruff McGruff ad 1998" and you'll see that Scruff is the nephew, not McGruff.
McGruff's real first name is well...McGruff.
Jarrett Smith Yeah but 1998? I'm talking about ads from the '80s.
Jarrett Smith we’re really having this Mario Mario situation?!?
For Mcgruffs case, I believe they were analyzing the power of a bloodhound, and makes the fact that Mcgruff isn't just a bloodhound, he is a bipedal bloodhound, so they bite which can break bone for a normal one should be stronger, but same can apply to Smokey.
Despite this being a very short battle I can forgive them because this was really well animated.
Oh yes, time to binge watch all your reactions once more.
Mcgruff could not only BEARLY handle smokey but he did not really lay a SCRACH on him
my dog watched this with me.....awkward
Maybe because Wonder woman once lifted the mjolnir (hammer of Thor) in a crossover
I'm cool with Thor vs Wonder Woman
I feel that those two need to come back to death battle!
Hey ris, hope this helps excite you for the next DB, it's a Torrian Animation. As for the rehashing two characters, im guessing they needed an easy one to help them get ahead for the imminent finale episode. I listen to their podcasts and this seems very plausible to me

Thor can create storms and natural disasters on a planetary scale.
Thor is an expert Martial Artist and all of the Earths fighting styles, and when he was without his powers, beat Captain America in h2h combat.
The most impressive feat of all, can speak all languages on Earth.
Can mention more things he can do, but I feel these are enough.
Wonder Woman:
Strength to move 1/3 of the Earth's weight.
Better combat speeds than Superman.
Fly at near light speeds, still not there yet.
Durable enough to tank hit's from the likes of Superman (still no planet shattering attacks, those will kill her).

there HAS been a samus vs boba fett rematch.
Thor vs Wonderwoman is about the fact both are based heavily on ancient mythologies and are both the children of gods.
Thor is of course based on Thor from Norse Mythology and WW is based heavily on Greek mythology, though admittedly DC plays alot faster and looser with their interpretations.
Both are also powerful warriors wielding magical, mystical weapons that can bust heads real good.
Maybe its because Wonder Woman and Thor are Royal characters since Wonder Woman is a princess and Thor is a prince
Because they [thor and WW] are both Demi-gawds
This type of animation fit for cartoon characters like ben 10 or bugs bunny

That was more of a remake with Boba fett and Samus so I wouldn't count it.
Morphstar changeling maybe but its a thought
ya almost said Mcgruff had the strength and speed of a Bassett hound. if that were true the match woulda been over before the bell.
unless Smokey was fighting Droopy Dog, that dudes tough.
Agent 47 vs Agent 007 should happen
SSX REAPER Bond's abilities are all over the map depending on the movie and actor though. They would have to pick a specific incarnation.
What about the books themselves? wouldn't those be more consistent for OO7's abilities?
fabul0u519 Hmm that's possible. Though they're not really what people think of when they think of 007.
(One of WW's weaknesses is that she will lose all her powers if she's tied up by a man.)
Then again, my comic knowledge is next to nothing so I'll leave it to the professionals to do the speculating.
Catch you later!
Honestly Ris until you pointed it out I would have never even thought about the fact that they were 2 previously used characters. Let alone have it bother me. I don't understand that way of thinking, where having old characters return be an issue in any way. I mean it literally means nothing. so what right?
+SuperSaiyan CJ Some people really appreciate seeing new characters in Death Battle. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but I also enjoy seeing new faces.
Yes I understand that but why do you feel that way when its a new face? I'm very curious.
@@Ris_Grestar oh boy here come the bear puns
And Batman and Metal Sonic and Charizard and Deadpool
This has to be one of my favorite death battle.
Only you could've prevented that forest fire
FOOL.
2:38 this whole thing in a nutshell
While both Diana and Thor have been in Death Battle, it's been a long time. There is definitely new material for them.
RIP JENNY. Rest in pepperoniz
Anime style death battles in anime? I'm SOLD on that idea!
Smokey: Only you can prevent Forrest fires
Ris: 22:17
"Scruff"
I loved that they used a scene from halloween
The dog's name is just McGruff. Anyway, I'm confused about the next one, too. Then again, the new Wonder Woman movie is out now, so who knows?
I want a western cartoon Death Battle. Or better, East vs West. Give another year, and we'll start getting live-action Death Battles.
"Why did McGruff just have his monster truck in the lake?"
If THAT's your biggest question about the episode, you're on acid
BTW, loved the reaction
Hey Ris, only *your* reactions are the best.
Smokey had a TV special made by Rankin Bass and a animated TV series in the late sixties plus he appeared in a Woody Woodpecker cartoon
The reason why he's called Raiden is because Ridin is a totally different character and it would probably cause some major confusion to me at least
Honestly I'm fine with thor vs WW because the rouge vs WW was over 6 years ago and DC has updated her alot lately plus rouge and WW don't really have a lot in common beside hot superhero babes with powers and are in a super team
Thor vs rayden was a stomp for thor and the only thing they had in common was they're both god of thunder and protector of earth/realm with lighting powers
While I don't dislike those episodes but they're both from early seasons of death battle where they were still trying to figure out their footing
So overall I'm actually excited for the next episode because it's a battle that makes sense for both characters
Both are from comic books that uses norse/greek mythology, both are child of the Kings of those mythology (Odin/Zeus), both are born and raised in a mysterious land filled with well trained warriors that is hidden from the human world (asgard/ themyscira), both are royalty and are unfamiliar with the modern world, both want to protect humans and joined famous super teams (avengers/ justice League), both wield magical items that defines the character (mjolnir/ lasso of truth), both have secret identity that starts with the letter D (donald blake/ Diana prince), both are consider one of the strongest characters from their respective universes, have the ability to fly at Supersonic speed, both are very durable and regularly fight threats to the entire earth, both of them also have a "warrior rage" where if a battle last too longe they become outrage and go into a blinding rage and become out of control
So they both have a LOT in common
Although I wasn't expecting this coming up so soon
I was expecting wonder woman vs Kratos or she-ra
Thor vs superman or vegeta
The biggest problem is that it greatly depends on which Thor they use 1) If they use standard Worthy Thor, he has a slight advantage in power, durability, and powerset but slightly loses in speed and combat ability. 2) Unworthy Odinson, loses in just about everything. 3) Rune King Thor completely destroys in everything.
I held out hopes that McGruff would pull out a win due to his hidden combat skills and speed as a dog. The battle was a bit predictable though considering that it's still just a dog vs a bear.
The sound effects made this battle.
Mewtwo was in a fight against shadow and vegeta
But mewtwo was new.
zippoiii no, Mewtwo also was in a joke Battle against Vegeta
my brother dressed up in a mascot suit of mcgruff
Jarrett Smith They would still have to get there first.
Only you can stop forest fires by taking a bite outta crime.
next time could be pretty good
Only you can teach your enemy a lesson
why would wonder woman and thor fight... because both their respective actors said that wonder woman would win
Pretty sure Chris was trying to get laid when he said that lmao
They Tried There Best Not To Make The Sprite Look Anything Like Smokey Bear
Wonder woman vs thor?
I'd say ww takes it, due to her far better speed.
Speed equalized it would be tough to call, but thor is simply pretty damn slow in combat, so yeah, her speed will probably net her the win
Fun fact. His name is not Scruff. It's McGruff. Scruff is his nephew's name
Get it?
Ris Grestar, you mean Batman, not captain America.
Captain America only had one death battle, Batman had 2 battles
We haven't seen captain America twice in death battle (that was batman)
Ris thor is the son of odin and wonder women is the daughter of zeus
If you think Smokey is a cool bear, wait till you here about Wotjek the bear
woody woodpecker (universal)
VS
mickey mouse (walt Disney)
This dude looking like jacksepticeye but without green xD
For next time, i kinda agree for 2 characters weve seen go against each other since we now already know about most of their feats, but at the same time i dont mind because obviusly there characters have grown and become more powerfull since last time. But next death battle is still weird because, why wonder woman vs thor? I just dont see why people wanted that
both are children of gods, who are overpowered, who fight gods, who have mythical weapons.
children of gods, there are a few of them so understandable but still a weak connection.
overpowered... that kinda goes for any super hero, god or villain so poor excuse.
fight gods also poor exuse there are way too many characters that fight gods for that to be something specific to them. Mythical weapons... im pretty sure those exist everywere. Soo children of gods is the only connection between them? Again kinda weak so you can see why i just dont see people wanting the battle.
Leo D.V. Maybe I should correct myself. LEGENDARY children of gods with a certain destiny made for them.
Ok that sound better and now that you mention it they did kinda have their destiny made for them, ok i guess i kinda understand now didnt really think of the aspect of THIS IS YOUR DESTINY deal which im dissapointed in myself for not thinking about since that was the main theme for the thor movie
Zeus is from Greek mythology, Odin is from Norse mythology, both are known for fathering many children some gods some Demi gods.
it is also a DC vs marvel fight
that being said thor is also from Norse mythology, while wonder Woman is not from Greek mythology.
they should of made it a fight between Thor and Hercules. DC comics has a version of Hercules.
but there are no movies for that, so the real reason this death battle exist is because the wonder woman movie was popular and they can get a lot of views.
Thor vs wonder woman
I have to go with wonder woman.... she has picked up mjolnir before (i know it was cannon, but it does show that it is a possibility) and with out mjolnir thor gets f-ed.. thor would lose his power to fly an amount of defense and offensive capabilities... and he be getting hit by his own weapon..... wonder woman has a lot more going for her and thor relies too much on his hammer.
This is just me with basic understanding of both characters using my general knowledge w/o research
Watch some Asuras Wrath Stuff
