Loved them so much, then saw the videos. If the music industry promoted bands like this, there might still be a music industry. Still hoping RUclips might produce independent DJ’s showcasing stuff like this, but.... then I guess money’s always going to be a thing *sad shrug*

I haven't heard the whole "talk" album, but I have heard "cool on fire", "preach", "aerial love" and his collaboration with 360. Ugh, it all sounded so generic. Like, cool on fire had a good beat to it, otherwise, "no" to it all. I think I'd be cool with a techno-y direction if it were more like prodigy or something kind of edgy like that, but his stuff just felt a little too jt wannabe to me.
Look up Miracle by Kimbra. Tell me if it's obvious he had a hand in writing it

Not sure if it's just me, but I kinda get a "Britpop" feel from it (which is great, since I love that genre)....
The music in the air combat sequence feels very Beatles-psychedelic, echoing parts of Yellow Submarine.
