This is one of my favourite songs of all time. I'm not sure I ever really understood it, lyrically, but it always felt so awesome! It's a stop-what-I'm-doing-and-sit-back-and-listen type of song. I included the lyrics in a poetry project I did back in high school. Requiem and Stargazer come up next for favourite Tea Party songs.
The opening rift brings me right back to the moment the guy I really liked and was seeing, he and I kissed for the first time for the entire song🥵. I was 17 both our first kiss ever and this song was playing while the lights were low, we were on Rudy's bed, just after all 6 of us watched The Matrix. As its conscience hits the ground
You surrender (you surrender)
Love under will (love under will)

As its conscience hits the ground
