- Snow camping in my van. Getting out, earning my peace. Winter has passed us by according to the calendar, but the weather still thinks it's Winter, and the Snow is falling in beautiful flakes. It still feels like Winter Van Camping.

Does anyone else feel the draw peaceful settings have from the internal noise one carries with them? It's almost like a draw of nervous energy away from the body, mind and soul leaving room for introspection and calm. It's powerful, curious and invaluable. Fleeting ,like the green flash at sunset but, always welcome.

How Awesome would it be to see, Primal Outdoors, Edward Shin @KrokemOutdoors, Swell Runner, Lite bright Nation, Overland Bound, Trail recon, Jason AutoEdits on a adventure together. I know everyone has their schedules but this would be awesome adventure to see you all converse and work together and share experience. Something to wish for.

One trick I got from another hiker for breaks in the wet forest: cut a piece of sleep foam or just take a large plastic bag for sitting on a wet log. This adds a lot of comfort when taking a break.

trick to help the soup stay warmer longer is to preheat the thermos with boiling water. snow shoe backpack camping is a great way to find solitude as well. as you mention the silence is amazing....

Not sure if you knew this already, but if you get free range eggs that have only been rinsed off with water there is no need to refrigerate them. This will give you more room in the fridge.
He's right. It astounded me to see them being sold outside in front of stores when I was visiting Hong Kong 🇭🇰. Just piled up in baskets ... absolutely fine.

Do you ever wish you’d built up a 7.3 instead of the gas motor? Is there a big difference between your partners van and yours as far as overall drivability and mileage? Great vids.

Why did you consider a hard top as opposed to a pop top roof? Beautiful video by the way. I dont know why some people are adverse to camping when its snowing.
I think he said that he wanted to stand up in the Van. I might be wrong.
Pop top roofs are not insulated, more expensive and difficult to install. Also, the cloth "convertible" structure wears over time and rips and leaks. Snow camping can result in getting stuck if not by snow, mud as well. Also, it's wet which you track into your tiny home.
