Absolutely love the presence of Thar! But one thing the previous thar will always be remembered for is the diesel engine sound and the solid door closing sound. Those two elements are the soul of previous generation Thar and I still love them🔥

Lots of Thar fans and Hard Core offroaders have now become older and some have become young grandfathers so, they are now interested in 5 doors Thar to go offroading and adventure with their old wives, children and grandchildren. 😄
When I read, "city review... " I thought you had taken those of us living in the urban jungle seriously 😅. We like the Thar too. For its under a million rupees, RWD, manual transmission, 2 door convertible car appeal. However don't want the frictional losses, wider turning circle radius, the noise from a lower overall gearing, weight & costs resulting from it's 4WD system. Most of all don't want to shell out a few extra lakhs in taxes because of it's engine size. In short, a RWD Thar with the 1.5 litre diesel all aluminium engine from the xuv300 that produces an identical 30kgm torque would be much appreciated. Mahindra needs to realise that there is far more going for the new Thar than just off roading. 🙂
Yaar pricing lx petrol manual is coming to almost 16 lac onbroad ..i felt its overpriced by 2 lac...AX optional could have been a sweeter deal with atleast half of gadgetry on offer which comes on lx Baaki just loved the car.. very smooth and convinient to ride in the city..really plush seats and easy clutch plus good visibility.. and I personally did not find the steering shaky ..and yes breaking is soft , you get to know the size of the car everytime.
Great job with the video Although I m aware that thar's essence is offroad but What are your views on a more practical and luxury version of the thar making it more alluring as a family car. For instance 1. Better smart features eg. Improved Infotainment like the seltos or maybe Xuv500 only 2. Rear openable windows 3. Parking cameras 4. Arm rest 5. Rear seat cupholders 6. Bigger glove box Etc features which we now easily get in any car of this range Along with this what about some design changes 1. Better boot space 2. Rear seat to fit 5 3. 4 door setup Also in my opinion not everyone will take this to offroad majority customers will buy it for the look and road presence so what if they reduce the engine to that of xuv500 and give a 4x2 version with better fuel efficiency and all the desired features to cater a whole new audience with the approx same price I am noone to judge or anything just a keen enthusiast, not aware of what is possible and what not, so I just wanted your views on this. The front screen fogs up when you switch on the AC in the Thar You have to change air direction to the windscreen to defog it every time If this is correct can it be rectified

Had a test drive..Everything is awesome in the car, except the non progressive braking, the body roll and the resultant motion sickness and headache caused to the rear passengers..still want to buy it though..except no one might sit behind for long.

Very honest opinion by this guy. But this is a Jugaad vehicle for eccentric people . After copule os years, this Jugaad makes a good mechanic out of a common man. Overall, not worth spending your hard earned money. I have seen this jugaad owned by only those people who have easy money.

Would like to know how it performs in the hilly terrain , espically when you over take a truck and then stops on a hill and take front , how it pick the speed.
