2008 Toyota Tacoma Removing Side Mirror and Door Panel

This is my personal truck I have purchased wrecked as is.
In this video I'll be removing the passenger side mirror as well as the front door panel, which may be helpful for people that need to access door lock assemblies, wiring, speakers or window regulators on second generation Toyota Tacoma trucks.

Good video. What about the speakers in the door? Did I miss that part?

I never removed the speaker cuz the parts door came with one that was in good condition so I never swapped it. But it’s easy to swap Either rivets or screws hold the speaker into the door.

So curious, is it really necessary to pop the actuator trim loose or could you still replace the mirror with ot attached. I am afraid of breaking the trim cause it would be a pain to find again online i think.

Do you have any tips on how to stay organized and remember where all of the different screws and clips go?

I grab plastic bags and label them with what clips and screws came from where.
