Garry's Mod Indiana Jones Adventure Ride

Okay, this one's not really a effort video since I didn't edit this and do anything fancy towards it, but little did you know that most maps from L4D2 and Portal 2 were once incompatible with GMOD and with updates already released are now compatible and one of the maps I liked was the Indiana Jones ride map from L4D2 but it's a downloadable map. GMOD used to have their own Indiana Jones Ride map but was never released. Fortunately, with a GMOD update, L4D2 Maps are compatible like this one. What I've did is make a folder for this map over at {C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons} then used GCFScape to extract the BSP and its contents of the L4D2 map from the VPK to the folder that I've created for the map (make sure it has addon.txt), launched the game and it WORKS! (I replaced a sound in this but you don't have to.) There's a few bugs like the skybox missing its texture but I don't care.

i need help when i try to load in the map it get stuck

Okay my issue now with this on my gmod is the fog distance. It ruins half of the effects of this. I replaced many of the details and audio files as well. Except for the music. It just won’t work and I do not know why.

Dark Doge X-s Tech you can override the fog in command console by “fog_override 1” or something like that, and I forgot to mention, if you’re gonna replace sounds, make sure the sounds were MP3 when you’re going to extract them in Audacity and the sounds should work.

How come the map is missing textures, I've used CSS already and nothing is working. Is there a solution to this?

Nosferatu1922 did you add the content that came from the VPK? and you should get l4d2 content pack just in case.

@@eggu5177 I did everything and I just installed l4d textures. Everything is looking great, now the only thing that's missing is the sky.
