ASA I really enjoyed this debate and the expressions on Mohammad H.'s face during this debate had me laughing at some points because I found myself making the same expressions. I am a former Christian but I NEVER understood the trinity and NO ONE in my church could answer me. The Reverend said that Muslims are told not to ask about the attributes of ALLAH...well as a born Christian...I was raised NOT TO ASK otherwise I was told that I was "touched by Satan" or "Seeking out the Devil's Knowledge" for questioning the Trinity and 30 years of that got real old, I knew I couldn't go to church anymore when I prayed directly to God and left Jesus out of the equation. And about the Holy Spirit, just google some videos of people "catching the Holy Spirit" and I swear they appear to be possessed by anything but Holiness. Praise be to ALLAH swt for saving me and bringing me to Islam.

Tawheed has three categories understood directly from Allah’s Book. This division of tawheed is not from someone’s opinion, nor is it merely a traditional way to explain tawheed. It is a division that is taken directly from Allah’s Book. 1) The first category is tawheed ar-ruboobiyyah, which means “to single out Allah in understanding His Actions,” like His creating, providing, bringing of life and death, and keeping order in all affairs. A person understands that Allaah alone is the Creator, the Provider, the Ever-Living One in charge of all affairs. 2) The second category is tawheed al-uloohiyyah, which means “to single out Allah within the actions of the servant.” This includes all actions that draw them closer to Allah, Glorified and Exalted, like: Du’aa’ - supplication Khowf - fear Rajaa’ - hope Rahbah - awe Ragbah - longing Tawakkul - trust Isti’aanah - seeking general assistance Istighaathah - seeking assistance in emergencies Thabh - slaughtering Nathr - taking oaths All forms of worship must be strictly for Allah alone, and nothing can be done for other than Him. This is what is called tawheed al-’ebaadah, or tawheed al-uloohiyyah, and it is the tawheed that is put into practice as the servant singles out Allah in everything He has requested, with an intention for Him alone, in all acts of obedience. 3) The third category is tawheed al-asmaa’ was-sifaat, which means “to believe in every Name and Attribute that Allah affirmed for Himself, or those that His Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) affirmed for Him. Samuel's justification of Jesus and holy spirit being equal to GOD is very ironic. Does it mean if i breath into a baloon, the air in that baloon becomes equal to me (holyspirit)? Does it also mean if I record a sermon on an audio tape, that tape becomes eqaul to me because it is my word? May GOD open the hearts of misguided.

3 can never be ONE. First you need to differentiate what existed before the universe was created and what is created afterwards. Only the God Almighty alone had existed before, and everything has been created by Him including the Holy spirit and the son Jesus. Therefore only God Almighty, the Creator alone is worth to worship.

The truth in their book itself, but "only those can accept the truth who listen" . fabrication of Trinity . The Prophets of the Old Testament such as Abraham, Noah and Jonah never preached that God is part of a Trinity, and did not believe in Jesus as their saviour. Their message was simple: there is one God and He alone deserves your worship. It is not logical for God to send Prophets for thousands of years with the same essential message, only to suddenly change it, claim that He is now a part of a trinity, and to stipulate the belief in the divinity of Jesus to be saved. . The truth is, Jesus preached the same message as all the Prophets in the Old Testament. There is a passage in the Bible that really emphasises this core message. . A man came to Jesus and asked, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered, “The first of all the commandments is, ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.’ “(Mark 12:28-29) . So, the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus, is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said, ‘I am God, worship me.’ Instead, he merely repeated a verse from the Old Testament confirming that God is One. . This aligns with the mission of Jesus, as taught in Islam, where Jesus was sent to the Children of Israel to confirm the message of the past Prophets - to believe in the One True God. . Allah(God) says: “And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, ‘… Indeed, God - He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him alone. This is the only Straight Path.’ “Quran 43:63-64
One more thing, this is just my opinion ... in the question and answer session ... Muslim people should not ask the two speakers, let the Christians ask the Islamic speaker and the Christian speakers, why? Because if Christians ask the Islamic side then it is a feeling of wanting to know more about Islam, and if the Christian asks a Christian speaker then the questioner will know the answers given by the pastor. I am a former Christian but I NEVER understood the trinity and NO ONE in my church could answer me.
The Reverend said that Muslims are told not to ask about the attributes of ALLAH...well as a born Christian...I was raised NOT TO ASK otherwise I was told that I was "touched by Satan" or "Seeking out the Devil's Knowledge" for questioning the Trinity and 30 years of that got real old, I knew I couldn't go to church anymore when I prayed directly to God and left Jesus out of the equation.
And about the Holy Spirit, just google some videos of people "catching the Holy Spirit" and I swear they appear to be possessed by anything but Holiness.
Praise be to ALLAH swt for saving me and bringing me to Islam.

Tawheed has three categories understood directly from Allah’s Book. This division of tawheed is not from someone’s opinion, nor is it merely a traditional way to explain tawheed. It is a division that is taken directly from Allah’s Book.
1) The first category is tawheed ar-ruboobiyyah, which means “to single out Allah in understanding His Actions,” like His creating, providing, bringing of life and death, and keeping order in all affairs. All forms of worship must be strictly for Allah alone, and nothing can be done for other than Him. This is what is called tawheed al-’ebaadah, or tawheed al-uloohiyyah, and it is the tawheed that is put into practice as the servant singles out Allah in everything He has requested, with an intention for Him alone, in all acts of obedience.
3) The third category is tawheed al-asmaa’ was-sifaat, which means “to believe in every Name and Attribute that Allah affirmed for Himself, or those that His Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) affirmed for Him.
