The most powerful point was the Psalms 91 argument. Adnan established concretely that it was about the messiah and that the prophecy explicitly says the Messiah will be protected and saved. Samuel had no good rebuttal, Samuel just claimed that we just simply dont always get the protection we are promised by God. Essentially Samuel is saying God doesn’t keep his promise. This cannot be acceptable. The Quran is in concordance with Psalms 91.
Hi tristar gym, I’m a Christian but I’m a big fan of you. Just to answer your question, how come you think Jesus was not protected? He is now living well alive at the right hand of god. And in relation to his protection on earth. he was protected throughout his journey until it was time for him to die on the cross for our salvation as prophecied in Isaiah 53.
Does psalm 91 say Jesus didn’t die? It’s a complete different understanding of what islamic apologists twisted on this beautiful chapter of our Lord’s victory over death/Satan, and prophecy about Jesus DEATH and resurrection Examination of Psalm 91 from the beginning : Psalm 91:1 refers us not only Jesus at a specific time who seeks shelter by rebuking the devil Psalm 91:2 refers for our general seeking protection from plagues, covid, bad relationships, etc Psalm 91:3 refers to us that if we have great trust in the Lord, we will be delivered from any Fowler and deadly pestilence. Psalm 91:4 describes God’s holiness abiding on the believers Psalm 91:5 by your trust in God, you won’t fear the terror of the night (meaning, upcoming tests from God, you won’t have fear) Psalm 91:6 nor the destruction that happens nor any disease Psalm 91:7 lots of angels are going to fall at your side and protect you from any thing from Satan. Psalm 91:8 you will see in return the people who try to destroy you, or any demon attacking you recompensed with justice in the hereafter Psalm 91:9 for you our God are our refuge, you have made the Most High (Jesus) your dwelling place (by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53) Psalm 91:10 -the psalmist says “you” and this refers to Jesus, then therefore Jesus is God because according to Muslims Jesus wasn’t there and therefore, he thought Jesus was omnipresent meaning he was existing even before his ministry making him eternal. Also could mean that since we are faithful and trust in God, no plague that’s not decreed shall not come after you Psalm 91:11 he (Jesus, father, and spirit) will command his angels to protect you Psalm 91:12 refers to how the Romans took Jesus during the crucifixion Psalm 91:13 refers a prophecy of Jesus defeating death/Satan by the cross see Hebrews 2:14, John 16:11. Psalm 91:14 God will protect you if you hold fast to his love. Likewise, Jesus did this as well so that’s why he was delivered through resurrection Psalm 91:15 God is there in the darkest moment Psalm 91:16 God preserved Jesus in a long life glorified body (I.e resurrection) he is going to do the same with us Summary -the summary of this messianic psalm is that God and his angels will guard Jesus until his mission, then Jesus will tread Satan, he can only do that with his weapon which is the cross by dying on the cross, Jesus defeated death and resurrected. Psalm 91:1-12 refers to protection of Jesus until his mission. Then Psalm 91:13 says “You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.” Lion/young lion refers to Satan see Peter 5:8: “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” Serpent also means Satan see Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” And Jesus crushed Satan on the cross defeating sin, death, and of course. Satan. See verses: “Since, therefore, the children share flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared the same things, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the Devil” (Hebrews 2:14). “The ruler of this world has been judged” John 16:11 Problem for islamic apologists who think this means that Jesus didn’t die: Nowhere in this psalm does it say “you will not die” or “I will raise you up to me so you won’t die” This would mean that Jesus is better than Mohammed if Jesus didn’t die because Mohammed died from that poison a horrible cursed death according to Allah chapter 69:44-46 and that according to their criterion, Jesus didn’t die like how Mohammed did so therefore Jesus is holier and better This would mean Jesus is God because the psalmist was talking to him so Muslims admit Jesus is omnipresent and omniscient And this would contradict the Quran because it said that Jesus died in the Arabic; Chapter 3:55, 5:116. The idea that Jesus didn’t die came from a heretical gospel in the 3rd century that believes Jesus was a God but didn’t truly become human and it “appeared that he died rather it was someone else like Simon Peter” And lastly this would mean Allah deceived the followers of Jesus to think Jesus died if Jesus didn’t truly die. And because the Quran came six centuries after Jesus Christ and Muhammad could not make the distinction between what was really mentioned in Bible and later made up, now this fantasy story is in the Quran. Conclusion: This psalm refers to Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, which is defeating Satan (psalm 91:13) and that God’s angels would protect him before, during, and after his mission to defeating death in the cross (psalm 91:14-16) There are other psalms that clearly refer to Jesus dying on the cross such as psalm 69, Psalm 16. 9-10, psalm 22, psalm 22:16, psalm 22:1-4, Psalm 22:14-15, Psalm 69:21, Psalm 22:7-8, Psalm 109:4, Psalm 22:18, psalm 31:5, Psalm 16:10

Prophet Noah (PBUH) patiently debated with his people for 100's of years, in order to bring them to the path of truth of ONE God, who has no partners, but his people would keep making excuses, all the time bringing up false beliefs and not believe, until they called destruction upon themselves for rejecting the truth. Brother Adnan, may Allah (SWT) give you the patience to debate these beliefs. May Allah (SWT) give us viewers also patience, so that we can pray for those who hold false beliefs. That is because the punishment for those who associate partners to God, is so severe, it makes us Muslims want our brothers and sisters in humanity to be saved from that punishment.
Technically speaking Allah has no problem with letting someone die and revive him later on als Surah 2:259 states for Ezra and probably even Ezras donkey: Quote: (Sahih International): Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. He said, "How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years; then He revived him. He said, "How long have you remained?" The man said, "I have remained a day or part of a day." He said, "Rather, you have remained one hundred years. Look at your food and your drink; it has not changed with time. And look at your donkey; and We will make you a sign for the people. And look at the bones [of this donkey] - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent." So why beeing so shy concerning this could have happened to Jesus too?
@mahdi sabri Beginning with Saheeh International and younger translation they seemingly startet to change the meaning of the verse. (I added the date at the end of the translations). Seemingly someone is trying to change the meaning of the Qu'ran in the translations. You get the picture? Pickthall: And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain. (1930) Yusuf Ali: That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not: (1930) Arberry: and for their saying, 'We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God' -- yet they did not slay him, neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown to them. Those who are at variance concerning him surely are in doubt regarding him; they have no knowledge of him, except the following of surmise; and they slew him not of a certainty -- no indeed; (1955) Shakir: And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the messenger of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure. (1981) Sahih International: And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain. (1997) Mohsin Khan: And because of their saying (in boast), "We killed Messiah 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) ]: (1999) Muhammad Sarwar: and their statement that they murdered Jesus, son of Mary, the Messenger of God, when, in fact, they could not have murdered him or crucified him. They, in fact, murdered someone else by mistake. Even those who disputed (the question of whether or not Jesus was murdered) did not have a shred of evidence. All that they knew about it was mere conjecture. They certainly could not have murdered Jesus. (2001)
Jesus (pbuh) will be sent by Allah to the world somewhere in the future to fix the problems and he will also penalise the christians for they did not accept islam.

@BeholderGuard She asked a good question... Mr Adnan did not have a case to be honest and it rested on an act of deception on behalf of Allah. Mr Green incorporated historical fact in support but unfortunately Mr Adnan had nothing... My question to YOU personally Mr BehoulderGuard is - ASIDE FROM THE QURAN AND THE BIBLE; on what basis do YOU reject the vast historical evidence that Jesus died by Crucifixion under Pontius Pilate? I'd like to hear and possibly interact with your answer. Thanks!

Thank you Mr.Adnan for the beautiful summary on the “Confusion in the gospels” part. Really saved me lots of research for an article/essay I’m writing on the cruci-fiction. May Allah bless you.
Hello. I am intrigued you are writing on the subject. I noticed there are many debates on the Crucifixion but all from a strict theological perspective..Would you consider engaging in a respectful debate on the Crucifixion from a Historical perspective? I think that will be unique and refreshing. I'd like to see if either of our views will change in light of any historical evidence... Please let me know your thoughts and feedback and if you accept my friendly challenge to you. Thank you!
Sahih Luke Hi. Ofcourse from a Muslim perspective it would have to be from a theological side of the argument. That’s why in atheist vs Christian debates they focus on the historical and naturalistic perspective of it. I’m not sure if I have the knowledge yet to debate, but I’m interested in the topic of ‘historical’ evidence. Do you mean extra-biblical sources?
There is no confusion. Adnan came up with examples of phrases which in reality complement each other. But Adnan deliberately removed the clear sayings of Jesus Christ in which He predicted and confirmed His crucifixion, death and resurrection many times. Matthew 20:17-19: Now Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”. Matthew 16:21-23: From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Luke 9:21-22: And He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one, saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.” Mark 8:31-33: And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. He spoke this word openly. Matthew 17:22-23: Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful. Luke 9:43-44: But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, “Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.” Matthew 26:32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.” Mark 9:30-32: Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it. For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.” But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him" John 12:23, 24: Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain." John 12:30 Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up[a] from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” 33 He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die." Mark 10:33, 34: Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him: “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles; and they will mock Him, and [a]scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again." Luke 18:31-33: Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon. They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.” Matthew 26:1-2: “When Jesus had finished all these words, He said to His disciples, “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion.” Revelation 1:18: "I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." John 20:25-29: But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” Do you read it, at least fifteen times it Jesus himself who predicted his own death and resurrection. And thus the Quran is wrong in Surah 4:157. The story of an non crucified Jesus is derived from the Second Treatise of The Great Seth, 56.6-19 in NHL 332 which dates from around the third century.
Hatun and the rest of DCCI have that weird argument that Allah favors Jesus in the Quran... Nobody argued for the opposite (its not even meaningful, one is the messiah the other is the last prophet) ANDDDD nobody said that Jesus was not a MIGHTY prophet, we muslims just tell you that the accounts you base your faith on (the gospels) have been altered and corrupted to fit agendas throughout history... YES WE LOVE JESUS! BUT WE LOVE ALLAH (GOD) MORE

Bible says “For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off;” (Psalms 37:28) But yet when Jesus Christ (pbuh) was put on the cross according to the Bible. He cried out “About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi lama sabachthani?"-which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mathew 27:46) “And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"-which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34) How can Jesus be forsaken when God does not forsake his faithful ones?? Now the Christians have four options to choose from. 1. The person put on the cross was not really Jesus. 2. Jesus (pbuh) was not faithful to God. 3. Jesus (pbuh) is a lied that God forsook him. 4. Bible is lying when it says that God does not forsake his beloved ones. You have four options to choose from. Now you can try whatever gymnastics you want
5. Jesus just felt at that moment that God forsook him but he didn't lie about it - it was just his feeling. Is it forbidden to a good person to ask God when he feels forsaken? Even during tortures, at the moment of coming physical death?
Jesus was taking on the sins of the world Sins are a transgression against God Sins break the connection to God God raised him from the dead and he was reunited with God -The Truth
6. He quoted Psalm 22 which pictures his death and give us a glimpse what will happen. It's like I'm saying "Amazing grace..." You know automatically the rest of the song, the same with Jesus everyone knew what he is talking about and reminded everyone, I'm dying according to the scriptures nothing happens random here.

There is no other rock; I know of none. - Isaiah 44 I turned toward the voice which was talking to me, There was someone like the *_Son of Man_* among the lamp stands. He was wearing a robe that reached his feet. He wore a gold belt around his waist. His head and his hair were white like wool-like snow. His eyes were like flames of fire. His feet were like glowing bronze refined in a furnace. His voice was like the sound of raging waters. His face was like the sun when it shines in all its brightness. When I saw him, I fell down at his feet like a dead man. *Then he laid his right hand on me and said,* _“Don’t be afraid!_ *I am the first and the last,* _the living one._ *I was dead, but now I am alive forever.* I have the keys of death and hell. Revelation 1 To the messenger of the church in Smyrna, write: *The first and the last,* _who was dead and became alive, says:_ I know how you are suffering, how poor you are-but you are rich. I also know that those who claim to be Jews slander you. They are the synagogue of Satan. _Don’t be afraid of what you are going to suffer. The devil is going to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested. Your suffering will go on for ten days._ *Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.* Revelation 2 The angel showed me a river filled with the water of life, as clear as crystal. It was flowing from the throne of God and the lamb. Between the street of the city and the river there was a tree of life visible from both sides. It produced 12 kinds of fruit. Each month had its own fruit. The leaves of the tree will heal the nations. There will no longer be any curse. The throne of *God* and *the lamb* will be in the city. His servants will worship him and see his face. _His name will be on their foreheads._ There will be no more night, and they will not need any light from lamps or the sun because the Lord God will shine on them. They will rule as *kings forever and ever.* He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to show his servants the things that must happen soon. *I’m coming soon!* _Blessed is the one who follows the words of the prophecy in this book."_ “Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy in this book because the time is near. Let those who don’t have God’s approval go without it, and let filthy people continue to be filthy. Let those who have God’s approval continue to have it, and let holy people continue to be holy.” “I’m coming soon! I will bring my reward with me to pay all people based on what they have done. I am the A and the Z, *the first and the last,* the beginning and the end. “I, *_Yeshua,_* have sent my angel to give this testimony to you for the churches. I am the _root_ and _descendant_ of David. I am the _bright morning star.”_
In john 11:41 jesus said, " Father i thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you ALWAYS HEAR ME" In the garden of gethsemane jesus says, " Father i am praying to you take this cup away from me nevertheless my will but your will" So the question remains is he asked to be saved from the death & this verse says he was heard what he feared (hebrews 5-7 KJV) & john 11:41 says he always hears jesus then what is the result? ANS: Jesus never died 1st god promised jesus if jesus ask anything to god he will be given always... 2nd So jesus asked to god to save him from death if possible not jesus will but by god's will. 3rd God said he heard jesus prayer & jesus was given what he asked jesus asked to save from death & according to bible his prayer answered..that means jesus never died..if you believe in bible, if u belive god dont lie when he said he always hear jesus prayer & was given what he asked for than you have to believe jesus never died.. There are no other way around..and many early christian in history also believed that.
Jesus sits next to the right hand side of God, even in the Bible Satan told Jesus isn't it written that the Messiah cannot be killed that'll be saved by the Angels?
@@tydiab8838 Jesus died after that he was ressurected sitting right hand next to God in heaven. Hebrews 5:7;Luke 22:42, 44 Yes, on the agonizing night preceding his death, Jesus “was favorably heard.” But how? Jehovah sent an angel who “appeared to [Jesus] and strengthened him.” (Luke 22:43) Thus strengthened, Jesus was able to face death. Apparently, God then gave him assurance that his death on the stake would not bring reproach on the divine name but would eventually be the very thing used to sanctify it. Indeed, Jesus’ death opened a way for Jews, who were otherwise cursed under the Law, to be saved from condemnation to death.-Galatians 3:11-13.
@@Suleiman561 The physical body of Jesus Christ was not allowed to decay into dust . When his disciples went to the tomb early on the first day of the week, Jesus’ body had disappeared, and the bandages with which his body had been wrapped were left in the tomb, his body doubtless having been disintegrated without passing through the process of decaying. Read John 20:2-9; Luke 24:3-6.
the Quran clearly say that ( they did not kill him , they did not crucify him ) but the pastor samuel green keep claming that quran say he dead, he try to explain the Quran for his own way but the verse is so clear !
ramzi bounya The Quran does NOT claim Jesus is dead or that he died. The other prophets have died - they are not dead. There is a difference between these 2 statements. Dying is the soul leaving the body behind and entering the next life where the prophets and saints are now alive. Jesus did NOT die but left with his body and ascended. He will return again the same age as he left - so his earthly life is effectively ‘on pause’ and will be completed when he returns. Anyone who claims that the Quran claims that Jesus DIED is an ignoramus.
eatthescroll God doesn’t hate ‘Islam’ - the bible tells us to become Muslim in James 4:7. God hates idolatry and anyone associating partners with Him - therefore God hates Christianity and hates the trinity
eatthescroll Your god Caesar Borgia was the bastard with no dad- who died wearing a diaper on a tree and was cursed (Galatians 3:13) and roasted in hell for 3 days (Acts 2:31 of the KJV) according to your own scripture Caesar Borgia wearing a diaper is NOT the god of Abraham
larry lack ISLAM - means SUBMISSION. Muslim lillah - means Submitters to God Islam is a universal name not linked to a person or a place or a people. Nearly all other religions take a name equated to a person or a place or a nation - thereby they can’t be the universal religion of the prophets Islam (Submission to God) is the universal religion of the prophets. If you disagree, tell me what name Abraham and Noah used for their religion?
I like samuel green, he seems like a very nice and genuine guy, he didnt antagonize or try to bastardize muslims or islam, and he even said nice things when responding to that bigot at the end, he told her that muslims respect jesus very much and thats a fact, we love jesus with all heart. As for her assumption about god loving jesus more because the prophet pbuh got food poising, muslims never said Muhamed pbuh is god, he was a human being. One of the reasons god saved christ pbuh from the cross was because he wasnt going to allow the Jews to disgrace gods messenger in that way, it wasnt because God was trying to prevent jesus from feeling any pain in his life. The prophet did get food poisoning, but he wasnt about to get disgraced at the hands of the jews, they werent about to spit on him,and whip him and then crucify him in public. Thats what i call the fallacy of equivocation, there was no similarity in the 2 situations. Muslims believe all men are tested with trials and tribulations, and muslims dont worship Muhammed Pbuh, we take pride in the fact that the prophet was a human who had human like troubles and hardships, this is not something we're shy of.
The first question by the Christian was why don't you see the protection offered to the Messiah was from going astray. The Psalm clearly says the his FOOT SHALL NOT DASH AGAINST A STONE which is clear that it was protection from Physical Harm. If GOD won't let his foot dash against a stone then how could he lets NAILS been driven thru his hands and feet and he been whipped prior to that
Dr. Schnaggels Her main objective is to demonize Allah, the God that her 'god' worships, Islam, Mohammed pbuh & Muslims. She has been running around for years heckling convos between Muslims & non Muslims projecting false accusations for this very purpose with very things that she as Christians actually believe & commit or should do based on her bibles. On vid she wanted to make Mohammed's pbuh death as a disgrace when in fact it is her 'god' that was disgraced in his death based on the bibles (but we believe Isa pbuh was saved). She'd crash numerous convos for weeks shouting 'Whom Allah prays to?' when it is her 'god' who puts his face on the ground praying to Allah. And she won't accept sound reasoning & explanations. She'd shout 'What the Muslims do to apostates?' when she sees Muslims talking to possible reverts insinuating Muslims kill the apostates to scare them off while knowing fully well she as Christians should be the first to stone their apostates to death by her own hands as stated in some verses, including this one: Deuteronomy 13:6-10 New International Version (NIV) 6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. She is not out for the truth. Debates don't need her.

WITH ALL RESPECT, Samuel Green, I was very happy to be a listener to this informative debate between you and Scholar Adnan. I liked very much your cool, calm way of explaining your points of views - "unheated". WE Muslims cannot put our ideas as coolly as you people of West do, though at many points we could be very right in our views, somehow maybe because we are HURT by the West (which has always been conspiring on us Muslims, moreso Arabs) therefore we cannot keep as cool as you are. I loved your debate with Scholar Adnan who proved to be a learned man, well versed with the comparison religion, though not being an Arab he still gets heated sometimes, which is not a good thing to do in debates. We are all required to prove our points of views in the best of ways as the Holy Quraan tells us, even in arguments to keep cool. Shukran (Thanks) to both the scholars of Islam and Christianity. What we need to seek is an agreement between us for we were all born as "wheat" who were grounded into flour and made of us by the grounder cakes, bread, toasts, chapati and paratha. Now that we were made so with the first drop of a Mother's milk it is never easy to change unless after proper education and compromise which many of us are not ready to do with satisfaction perhaps because of our egos, the environment we live within the communities and the parents. Wishing the two of you every success in life and may God Almighty, be Allah, Ram, Christ or even the Devil, whoever is the Creator of Humanity, to show us the true light of guidance. With Love and Respects from an Arab Muslim...
How the heck this Samuel Green thinks Quran says Jesus was Crucified? Quran 4:157 clearly shows Jesus was not crucified. And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah, " And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. An they did not kill him, for certain. Quran 4:157 clearly it shows here "And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him" How much more clarity does this Samuel charter need? This means Samuel Green is contradicting James White. IF you watch James white's videos he clearly states the Quran does state Jesus was not crucified. This means we have two christian apologist that contradict each other on what they believe the Quran states.
If Jesus is God. Then 1. God made his own Mother?🙃 3. Marry is the mother of God or Wife of God? 4. God Died? 5. God has partner (son/mother)? 6. God walk, eat, drink? 7. God died for sins & ask forgiveness to whom? Himself?? (Sorry for my bad english, its not my native language)
With no disrespect, but Green on the Q&A only made up conjuctures. Meaning he was stating from his own understanding and ideas and was not quoting anything that would support his ideas. For example when asked in the chapter of John when jesus pbuh said thank u lord and that i have completed my work. Meaning i have completed the purpose u sent me for. He responded that jesus pbuh completed the work as meaning he knows that the time of crucifixion is about to come and he has become passive. However this is complete conjucture. According to the bible in pslams 31 that brother adnan mentioned shows that jesus when he learnt about what the roman r about to do to him he prayed and asked for protection and God responded with SURELY i will save u. Clearly shows he didnt know about the crucifixion, when he did he didnt want to be crucified. What i am seeing is, when explaining regards to when jesus pbuh in psalms 31 is mentioned wants to be saved and God saved him. On its own is ABSOLUTE evident. There is no where in bible otherwise. HOWEVER christian then respond with their own ideas and conjuctures. But some how get away with it. Why? Why does no one stop them at that point and ask. where did u get that from?
The Qur'an is unequivocal that Jesus wasn't crucified so how can he say the Qur'an says it does. Also how is he martyred if he wasn't crucified to begin with? Allah saved Jesus as he's the messiah and needs to come back to perform his messianic duty and judge the people by the law of the Qur'an. May Allah guide Samuel he seems nice
This was a very informative debate thanks for both gentlemen.but at the end of the a questionnaire some one sounded like my 18 years old car to much squeaking no hope
This debate was completely one sided. Brother Adnan smashed it ! He brought crystal clear evidence for proof and Samuel is so flimsy with defending the Bible which was obviously written by people who 'thought' that took place, unlike the Qur'an which was revealed straight from God to the Prophet Mohammad (p). If the 'crucifiction' is such a big event, such a glorious moment in time, 'the thing you need to believe in to get to heaven' then what's up with all this confusion and gospels written DECADES later and not then and there, and why didn't God preserve the cross that killed his 'son' (or 'himself' as some Christians believe). Absolutely nothing was preserved of Jesus (p) prophethood, even the book he came with, the Gospel, was thrown out by the Jews, and now what is being read in churches is 'the gospel' acc. Matt., Mark., Luke., and John, again written DECADES later.
1:41:55 , Samuel green said he shown from the Quran that jesus was crucified .. even the verse is clear that jesus was nort crucified nor killed !! unbeliveable reasoning
One hundred and forty years ago, conservative biblical scholar and Dean of Canterbury, Henry Alford, advocated a new translation to replace the King James Bible. One of his reasons was the inferior textual basis of the KJV. Alford argued that “a translator of Holy Scripture must be…ready to sacrifice the choicest text, and the plainest proof of doctrine, if the words are not those of what he is constrained in his conscience to receive as God’s testimony.” He was speaking about the Trinitarian formula found in the KJV rendering of 1 John 5:7-8. Twenty years later, two Cambridge scholars came to the firm conclusion that John 7:53-8:11 also was not part of the original text of scripture. But Westcott and Hort’s view has not had nearly the impact that Alford’s did. For a long time, biblical scholars have recognized the poor textual credentials of the story of the woman caught in adultery (John 7:53-8:11). The evidence against its authenticity is overwhelming: The earliest manuscripts with substantial portions of John’s Gospel (P66 and P75) lack these verses. They skip from John 7:52 to 8:12. The oldest large codices of the Bible also lack these verses: codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus, both from the fourth century, are normally considered to be the most important biblical manuscripts of the NT extant today. Neither of them has these verses. Codex Alexandrinus, from the fifth century, lacks several leaves in the middle of John. But because of the consistency of the letter size, width of lines, and lines per page, the evidence is conclusive that this manuscript also lacked the pericope adulterae. Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus, also from the fifth century, apparently lacked these verses as well (it is similar to Alexandrinus in that some leaves are missing). The earliest extant manuscript to have these verses is codex Bezae, an eccentric text once in the possession of Theodore Beza. He gave this manuscript to the University of Cambridge in 1581 as a gift, telling the school that he was confident that the scholars there would be able to figure out its significance. He washed his hands of the document. Bezae is indeed the most eccentric NT manuscript extant today, yet it is the chief representative of the Western text-type (the text-form that became dominant in Rome and the Latin West). When P66, P75, Sinaiticus, and Vaticanus agree, their combined testimony is overwhelmingly strong that a particular reading is not authentic. But it is not only the early Greek manuscripts that lack this text. The great majority of Greek manuscripts through the first eight centuries lack this pericope. And except for Bezae (or codex D), virtually all of the most important Greek witnesses through the first eight centuries do not have the verses. Of the three most important early versions of the New Testament (Coptic, Latin, Syriac), two of them lack the story in their earliest and best witnesses. The Latin alone has the story in its best early witnesses. So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn." [Quran 2:79]
2 points Sam Green was wrong about. 1)The Quran refers to taking the soul away during death and during sleep. Az zummar: 43 Not dying in your sleep isn't death. 2) The quran says don't say of the people who were killed in Allah's way that they are dead. Al Baqarah:154 For Isa AS we are saying he wasn't even killed. so this doesn't apply to him.
The points and the approaches in this debate will definitely come around in future theological discussions. Mr. Green was keen on semantics and Muslims should pay more attention to the wording of the Qur’an. The Muslim scholars focused on commentary of the whole Qur’an, but now a days, the Christian apologists invest decades on only countable verses. Two points related to semantics were addressed. 1. In 2:169, the verse negates death to those who had been KILLED in the cause of Allah, and it was misinterpreted by Mr. Green to prove Jesus was KILLED and did not die. While the main discussion was on verse 3:157 which states “they KILLED him not”. The Qur’an states Jesus was not killed, and in another place, martyrs are killed and are not dead. Thus, carefully reading the wording of the Qur’an, Mr. Green argument is not accurate. 2. In 3:157, the verse wording may have more than one meaning. Mr. Rashid considered “but it was made to appear to them”, for the crucifixion issue. This meaning is correct, however, looking closely to the verse’s wording, the other meaning namely “but his similitude was made to appear to them” is accurate too. Especially, when considering the multiple use of the pronoun “HIM” before the one used for the similitude phrase, the later meaning is even more supported. Thus, Ibn Abbas’ opinion that someone else in Jesus’ similitude was crucified is quite valid.
This is his interpretation of Quran 3:55 . That is Jesus is dead but he is expressed as being alive with God (as are all martyrs) because he is martyred but the Muslims have misunderstood the whole picture.
@@saidmughery357 The Qu'ran is categorical that Jesus pbuh was never killed: neither by a general means nor by the specific method of crucifixion. "and for boasting, “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” But they neither killed nor crucified him ....They certainly did not kill him." Qu'ran 4:157
1:09:25... So if that’s how you determine what words mean, then surely “son of God” is metaphorical as it’s used in such a way an overwhelming number of times in the Old Testament. You can’t make it an exception for Jesus (pbuh). Choosing (on your own accord) if a word means one thing as a result of it’s overwhelming use in one scripture yet making a baseless exception on another scripture is called double standards 🤷🏻♂️
whatever the case, the event started and happened but Jesus was saved by Allah and was raised to the heaven. This happened indeed after Jesus PBUH was on the cross not before.
So you seem to have a more decisive understanding than the muslim debater getting close to the interpretation of the reverend refferring to koranic statements. Next time, they should invite you.

In Islam Jesus case is referred to the flesh, but in Christianity this case is both flesh and spiritual that is why its too hard for a Muslim to understand the Divinity of Jesus Christ. This is a very powerful subject, that we all have to make an effort to understand because it is known the one who returns is only Jesus and no body else. Glory be to Almighty God.
one chapter says it is women another chapter says it is men. Samuel Green why are you telling me this is not a contradiction. it is funny how muslims understand english more than the english people. When I was in the catholic school, I remember they explained this that Jesus showed up in 3 different places according to the Bible, therefore they concluded and explained to Catholics that It proves that Jesus is really God even people in the old time according to their interpretation they thought Jesus was a Ghost when he showed up in the other place. But really when my values teachers was telling me about Paul’s teachings that he was inspired by Holy Spirit I raised my question that how sure were they to think it was a Holy Spirit what if it’s something else. Imagine at age of 13 I had doubted already but without any angst. Other things the catholic taught us were really comparable to Islam, Because some principles came from old testaments. But I was the favorite of my teacher coz I could really ask questions then challenge Philosophies. Then during periodic exam I told him I didn’t study could I get an exemption because I was a student cathechist he said no, but I read my notes the last minutes then I got only 2 mistakes over 100 he was amazed and told all my teachers how amazed he was and I was guided by the Holy Spirit. Then I had lots of philosophies that my family found weird coz some are Catholics some are born again christians and I found myself a Muslim. The christian cant use his own bible to prove jesus was kill as it has too many contradictions.he need to use historian or people from islam that are not even scholar.illogical! The quran clearly says "neither kill him or crucified, all that differ are in doubt" What more interpretations or proofs he needs? He cant process simple english translation that he need to dig more into the verses to fit his belief Ignorant as expected Adnan even quote the passage "psalms" with full context but he doesnt want to read or accept it. I think the christian man doesnt know that prophecy must be fulfilled in order jesus can be proven the true messiah If the prophecy fail or jesus prayer was not accepted then he cant be the christ In short jesus must be lift up or saved from that horibble death
Samuel Green is also wrong about the death verses... God take the souls in their sleep...keeps some (i.e death) and returns others back to their bodies (i.e wakey wakey). Nothing medically wrong about this verse.
RESURRECTION--Among those beliefs crucial to Christianity few are of greater importance than that of the Resurrection. Paul went so far as to allege the very foundation of Christianity rests upon its occurrence. 1Cor. 15:14 "And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain." ( also: 1 Cor. 15:17) Yet, why should the Resurrection be of such significance.(?) Elijah raised a child from the dead (1Kings 17:17, 21-22); Samuel said to Saul, "Why hast thou disquietedme, to bring me" (1Sam. 28.7, 11, 15); Elisha raised the dead son of a Shunammite ( 2 Kings 4:32, 34-35); a dead man being lowered into a grave revived when he touched the bones of Elisha (2 Kings 13:21); Moses and Elijah revived at the time of the Transfiguration ( Luke 9:28, 30 );the saints arose at the time of Jesus' death ( matt. 27:52-53 ); Jairus' daughter rose from the dead (Matt. 9:18, 23-25 ); the widow at Nain's son rose from the dead (Luke 7:11-15 ); and Lazarus rose from the dead ( John 11:43-44 ). All of these people ascended from death and all did so before Jesus. So why attribute so much importance to the event. By the time Christ rose from the dead this was a rather common occurrance. Moreover, people not only before Jesus but after as well. Peter raisedTabitha and Paul raised Eutychus. While participating in a radio call-in program several years ago, the author was told by a caller that, except for Jesus, all of the above-mentioned people eventually died again. But Paul clearly asserted it's the Resurrection, per se, that matters not the fact Jesus never died again. The caller was asked to cite a passage that justified his contention. There was no reply. A second major difficulty associated with the Resurrection lies in the contradictory accounts in the four gospels of what occurred. The following represent some of the major disagreements surrounding the events connected with the Resurrection: A. At what time in the morning did the women visit the tomb?- At the rising of the sun (Mark 16:2) vs. when it was yet dark (John 20:1) B. Who came?- Mary Magdalene alone (John 20:1) vs. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary (Matt. 28:1) vs. Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome (Mark 16:1) vs. Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James and other women (Luke 24:10) C. Was the tomb opened or closed when they arrived? - Open (Luke 24:2) vs. closed (Matt 28:1- 2) D. Whom did they see at the tomb?- The angel (Matt. 28:2) vs. a young man (Mark 16:5) vs. two men (Luke 24:4) vs. two angels (John 20:11-12) E. Were these men or angels inside or outside the tomb? -Outside (Matt. 28.2) vs. inside (Mark 16:5, Luke 24:3-4, John 20:11-12). F. Were they standing or sitting? - Standing (Luke 24:4) vs. sitting (Matt. 28:2, Mark 16:5, John 20:12). G. Did Mary Magdalene know Jesus when he first appeared to her?-Yes, she did (Matt. 28:9) vs. no she did not (John 20:14). If the stories were consistent, one could write one long continuous narrative incorporating all four versions without fear of divergencies. Yet, this has never been done without adding, altering or omitting key verses. Apologists often submit the witness-at-an-auto-accident argument which is quite irrelevant since two diametrically opposed and mutually exclusive versions of the same event can not be simultaneously accurate. One or the other is false. Moreover, witnesses at an accident, unlike gospel writers, are not claiming inerrancy. Thomas Paine summarized the relationship between the gospels quite well. "...it is, I believe, impossible to find in any story upon record so many and such glaring absurdities, contradictions, and falsehoods, as are in the books (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John). They are more numerous and striking than I had any expectation of finding, when I began this examination,..." (Age of Reason by Thomas Paine, page 167) ......................................
We used to worship the creator, untill satan turned us to the creation. Besides, the Quran says clearly that Jesus was not crucified but it apeared to them so. If God wants to save his messenger and not want anyone to know, then he can do that. You can bring as many(anonymous) gospels which say that he was crucified, it doesn't matter since the Quran says it appeared to them so, in that case we would expect people to say he was crucified because it appeared to them so. Just like the earth is not flat but it appeared to them so. People once thought that the earth was flat because it appeared to them so, it doesn't make it true.
Very nice debate between respectful scholars, this is how dialogs should be. IMHO: Samuel is trying to bend-and-twist to convince Quran says what he was saying but this is misrepresentation because Quran outright denies and states certainly Jesus was neither killed nor crucified and Allah took him and people follow conjecture. Also Psalms 91 kills Samuel's eloquent arguments.
By the end Mr Green agrees that God will test us and Christ was tested despite of psalm promise. The point however is that he indirectly forgets that Christ is God for him.Contradictory.
*VERY TRUE'*
Hi tristar gym, I’m a Christian but I’m a big fan of you. Just to answer your question, how come you think Jesus was not protected? He is now living well alive at the right hand of god. And in relation to his protection on earth. he was protected throughout his journey until it was time for him to die on the cross for our salvation as prophecied in Isaiah 53.
Does psalm 91 say Jesus didn’t die? It’s a complete different understanding of what islamic apologists twisted on this beautiful chapter of our Lord’s victory over death/Satan, and prophecy about Jesus DEATH and resurrection
Examination of Psalm 91 from the beginning :
Psalm 91:1 refers us not only Jesus at a specific time who seeks shelter by rebuking the devil
Psalm 91:2 refers for our general seeking protection from plagues, covid, bad relationships, etc
Psalm 91:3 refers to us that if we have great trust in the Lord, we will be delivered from any Fowler and deadly pestilence.
Psalm 91:4 describes God’s holiness abiding on the believers
Psalm 91:5 by your trust in God, you won’t fear the terror of the night (meaning, upcoming tests from God, you won’t have fear)
Psalm 91:6 nor the destruction that happens nor any disease
Psalm 91:7 lots of angels are going to fall at your side and protect you from any thing from Satan.
Psalm 91:8 you will see in return the people who try to destroy you, or any demon attacking you recompensed with justice in the hereafter
Psalm 91:9 for you our God are our refuge, you have made the Most High (Jesus) your dwelling place (by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53)
Psalm 91:10 -the psalmist says “you” and this refers to Jesus, then therefore Jesus is God because according to Muslims Jesus wasn’t there and therefore, he thought Jesus was omnipresent meaning he was existing even before his ministry making him eternal. Also could mean that since we are faithful and trust in God, no plague that’s not decreed shall not come after you
Psalm 91:11 he (Jesus, father, and spirit) will command his angels to protect you
Psalm 91:12 refers to how the Romans took Jesus during the crucifixion
Psalm 91:13 refers a prophecy of Jesus defeating death/Satan by the cross see Hebrews 2:14, John 16:11.
Psalm 91:14 God will protect you if you hold fast to his love. Likewise, Jesus did this as well so that’s why he was delivered through resurrection
Psalm 91:15 God is there in the darkest moment
Psalm 91:16 God preserved Jesus in a long life glorified body (I.e resurrection) he is going to do the same with us
Summary -the summary of this messianic psalm is that God and his angels will guard Jesus until his mission, then Jesus will tread Satan, he can only do that with his weapon which is the cross by dying on the cross, Jesus defeated death and resurrected. Psalm 91:1-12 refers to protection of Jesus until his mission. Then Psalm 91:13 says “You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.”
Lion/young lion refers to Satan see Peter 5:8: “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
Serpent also means Satan see Genesis 3:1
“Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”
And Jesus crushed Satan on the cross defeating sin, death, and of course. Satan. See verses:
“Since, therefore, the children share flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared the same things, so that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the Devil” (Hebrews 2:14).
“The ruler of this world has been judged” John 16:11
Problem for islamic apologists who think this means that Jesus didn’t die:
Nowhere in this psalm does it say “you will not die” or “I will raise you up to me so you won’t die”
This would mean that Jesus is better than Mohammed if Jesus didn’t die because Mohammed died from that poison a horrible cursed death according to Allah chapter 69:44-46 and that according to their criterion, Jesus didn’t die like how Mohammed did so therefore Jesus is holier and better
This would mean Jesus is God because the psalmist was talking to him so Muslims admit Jesus is omnipresent and omniscient And this would contradict the Quran because it said that Jesus died in the Arabic; Chapter 3:55, 5:116.
The idea that Jesus didn’t die came from a heretical gospel in the 3rd century that believes Jesus was a God but didn’t truly become human and it “appeared that he died rather it was someone else like Simon Peter”
And lastly this would mean Allah deceived the followers of Jesus to think Jesus died if Jesus didn’t truly die. And because the Quran came six centuries after Jesus Christ and Muhammad could not make the distinction between what was really mentioned in Bible and later made up, now this fantasy story is in the Quran.
Conclusion:
This psalm refers to Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, which is defeating Satan (psalm 91:13) and that God’s angels would protect him before, during, and after his mission to defeating death in the cross (psalm 91:14-16)
There are other psalms that clearly refer to Jesus dying on the cross such as psalm 69, Psalm 16. 9-10, psalm 22, psalm 22:16, psalm 22:1-4, Psalm 22:14-15, Psalm 69:21, Psalm 22:7-8, Psalm 109:4, Psalm 22:18, psalm 31:5, Psalm 16:10

Technically speaking Allah has no problem with letting someone die and revive him later on als Surah 2:259 states for Ezra and probably even Ezras donkey:
Quote: (Sahih International): Or [consider such an example] as the one who passed by a township which had fallen into ruin. And look at the bones [of this donkey] - how We raise them and then We cover them with flesh." And when it became clear to him, he said, "I know that Allah is over all things competent."
So why beeing so shy concerning this could have happened to Jesus too?
Thank you!

Hi.
Luke 9:21-22: And He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one, saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.”
Mark 8:31-33: And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. He spoke this word openly.
Matthew 17:22-23: Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly sorrowful.
Luke 9:43-44: But while everyone marveled at all the things which Jesus did, He said to His disciples, “Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.”
Matthew 26:32 But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
Mark 9:30-32: Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it. For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.” But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him"
John 12:23, 24: Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain."
John 12:30 Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. 31 Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. 32 And I, when I am lifted up[a] from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” 33 He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die."
Mark 10:33, 34: Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him: “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles; and they will mock Him, and [a]scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again."
Luke 18:31-33: Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon. They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.”
Matthew 26:1-2: “When Jesus had finished all these words, He said to His disciples, “You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion.”
Revelation 1:18: "I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades."
John 20:25-29: But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Do you read it, at least fifteen times it Jesus himself who predicted his own death and resurrection.
Nobody argued for the opposite (its not even meaningful, one is the messiah the other is the last prophet)
ANDDDD nobody said that Jesus was not a MIGHTY prophet, we muslims just tell you that the accounts you base your faith on (the gospels) have been altered and corrupted to fit agendas throughout history...

How can Jesus be forsaken when God does not forsake his faithful ones?? Now the Christians have four options to choose from.
1. The person put on the cross was not really Jesus.
2. Jesus (pbuh) was not faithful to God.
3. Jesus (pbuh) is a lied that God forsook him.
4. Bible is lying when it says that God does not forsake his beloved ones.
You have four options to choose from. Now you can try whatever gymnastics you want
True
5. Jesus just felt at that moment that God forsook him but he didn't lie about it - it was just his feeling. Is it forbidden to a good person to ask God when he feels forsaken? Even during tortures, at the moment of coming physical death?
Jesus was taking on the sins of the world
Sins are a transgression against God
Sins break the connection to God
God raised him from the dead and he was reunited with God
-The Truth
6. He quoted Psalm 22 which pictures his death and give us a glimpse what will happen.
It's like I'm saying "Amazing grace..."
You know automatically the rest of the song, the same with Jesus everyone knew what he is talking about and reminded everyone, I'm dying according to the scriptures nothing happens random here.
@Borsalino Kizaru Are you a child? Do you understand your question is about the nature of trinity? You can always say it doesn't make sense. JESUS = *I AM* = FATHER (Exodus 3:14; John 5:58)
JESUS' SPIRIT = *_HOLY SPIRIT_* = FATHER'S SPIRIT
(1 Corinthians 6:11; 1 Peter 4:14; Romans 8:9)
Let's examine multiple places of the Scriptures, with a _The First and The Last_
:
12 Listen to me, Jacob,
Israel, whom I have called.
*I am the one.*
*I am the first and the last*
13 *My hand laid the foundation of the earth.*
*My right hand stretched out the heavens.*
When I call for them, they both stand.
- Isaiah 48
This is what Yahweh says:
*I am the first and the last,*
and there is no Elohim except me.
7 *If there is anyone like me, let him say so.*
*Let him tell me what happened
*
*when I established my people long ago*
Then let him predict what will happen to them.
8 Don’t be terrified or afraid.
Didn’t I make this known to you long ago?
You are my witnesses.
Is there any Elohim except me?
There is no other rock; I know of none.
- Isaiah 44
I turned toward the voice which was talking to me,
There was someone like the *_Son of Man_* among the lamp stands.
*Then he laid his right hand on me and said,* _“Don’t be afraid!_ *I am the first and the last,*
_the living one._ *I was dead, but now I am alive forever.* I have the keys of death and hell.
Revelation 1
To the messenger of the church in Smyrna, write:
*The first and the last,* _who was dead and became alive, says:_
I know how you are suffering, how poor you are-but you are rich. I also know that those who claim to be Jews slander you. They are the synagogue of Satan.
_Don’t be afraid of what you are going to suffer. The devil is going to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested. Your suffering will go on for ten days._
*Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.*
Revelation 2
The angel showed me a river filled with the water of life, as clear as crystal.
_His name will be on their foreheads._
There will be no more night, and they will not need any light from lamps or the sun because the Lord God will shine on them. They will rule as *kings forever and ever.*
He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true.
The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to show his servants the things that must happen soon. *I’m coming soon!*
_Blessed is the one who follows the words of the prophecy in this book."_
“Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy in this book because the time is near.
Let those who don’t have God’s approval go without it, and let filthy people continue to be filthy.
Let those who have God’s approval continue to have it, and let holy people continue to be holy.”
“I’m coming soon!

I knew that you ALWAYS HEAR ME"
In the garden of gethsemane jesus says, " Father i am praying to you take this cup away from me nevertheless my will but your will"
So the question remains is he asked to be saved from the death & this verse says he was heard what he feared (hebrews 5-7 KJV) & john 11:41 says he always hears jesus then what is the result?
ANS: Jesus never died
1st god promised jesus if jesus ask anything to god he will be given always...
2nd So jesus asked to god to save him from death if possible not jesus will but by god's will.
3rd God said he heard jesus prayer & jesus was given what he asked
jesus asked to save from death & according to bible his prayer answered..that means jesus never died..if you believe in bible,
if u belive god dont lie when he said he always hear jesus prayer & was given what he asked for than you have to believe jesus never died..
There are no other way around..and many early christian in history also believed that.

Jesus died after that he was ressurected sitting right hand next to God in heaven.
Indeed, Jesus’ death opened a way for Jews, who were otherwise cursed under the Law, to be saved from condemnation to death.-Galatians 3:11-13.

ramzi bounya
The Quran does NOT claim Jesus is dead or that he died.

ISLAM - means SUBMISSION.
Muslim lillah - means Submitters to God
Islam is a universal name not linked to a person or a place or a people. Nearly all other religions take a name equated to a person or a place or a nation - thereby they can’t be the universal religion of the prophets
Islam (Submission to God) is the universal religion of the prophets.

If GOD won't let his foot dash against a stone then how could he lets NAILS been driven thru his hands and feet and he been whipped prior to that
The women at the end its unable to ask a simple question, looks like she wants to be in the debate.
She'd shout 'What the Muslims do to apostates?' when she sees Muslims talking to possible reverts insinuating Muslims kill the apostates to scare them off while knowing fully well she as Christians should be the first to stone their apostates to death by her own hands as stated in some verses, including this one:
Deuteronomy 13:6-10 New International Version (NIV)
6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them.

Quran 4:157
clearly it shows here "And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him" How much more clarity does this Samuel charter need? This means Samuel Green is contradicting James White. IF you watch James white's videos he clearly states the Quran does state Jesus was not crucified. This means we have two christian apologist that contradict each other on what they believe the Quran states.

Samuel was great, so as the Muslim guy. Awesome debate!
Really really good debate.
This was a very informative debate thanks for both gentlemen.but at the end of the a questionnaire some one sounded like my 18 years old car to much squeaking no hope
Quran came through Muhammad PBUH.
Mashallah nice welcoming debate
1:41:55 , Samuel green said he shown from the Quran that jesus was crucified .. even the verse is clear that jesus was nort crucified nor killed !! unbeliveable reasoning
Indonesiab subtitle please👍🙏
Az zummar: 43
Not dying in your sleep isn't death.
2) The quran says don't say of the people who were killed in Allah's way that they are dead.
Al Baqarah:154
For Isa AS we are saying he wasn't even killed. so this doesn't apply to him.

Sorry it’s getting long story I need to shorten the sentences
papius in 2nd century named the gospels and then centuries later eucebius
john 17 : 3 , 4 - mission ifnished after praying for comfortoer adn praying for no crucifiction, Jesus's message is Islam.
injil is singular no 4 gospels, and it says God has revealed, the modern bible is a later work.
Why is nobody there? The place is empty.
cringe is real. good job adnan u did a great job as always
The christian cant use his own bible to prove jesus was kill as it has too many contradictions.he need to use historian or people from islam that are not even scholar.illogical!
The quran clearly says "neither kill him or crucified, all that differ are in doubt"
What more interpretations or proofs he needs?
He cant process simple english translation that he need to dig more into the verses to fit his belief
Ignorant as expected
Adnan even quote the passage "psalms" with full context but he doesnt want to read or accept it.
I think the christian man doesnt know that prophecy must be fulfilled in order jesus can be proven the true messiah
If the prophecy fail or jesus prayer was not accepted then he cant be the christ
In short jesus must be lift up or saved from that horibble death
Muslim defend Jesus..christiian happy sees jesus crucified
Samuel Green is also wrong about the death verses... God take the souls in their sleep...keeps some (i.e death) and returns others back to their bodies (i.e wakey wakey). Nothing medically wrong about this verse.
Did this guy really cite Reza Aslan as a Muslim source? Lol
MrRebel247 yes... he did 👀
RESURRECTION--Among those beliefs crucial to Christianity few are of greater importance
than that of the Resurrection. Paul went so far as to allege the very foundation of Christianity
rests upon its occurrence.
1Cor. 15:14 "And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain." (
also: 1 Cor. 15:17)
Yet, why should the Resurrection be of such significance.(?) Elijah raised a child from the dead
(1Kings 17:17, 21-22); Samuel said to Saul, "Why hast thou disquietedme, to bring me" (1Sam.
28.7, 11, 15); Elisha raised the dead son of a Shunammite ( 2 Kings 4:32, 34-35); a dead man
being lowered into a grave revived when he touched the bones of Elisha (2 Kings 13:21); Moses
and Elijah revived at the time of the Transfiguration ( Luke 9:28, 30 );the saints arose at the time
of Jesus' death ( matt. 27:52-53 ); Jairus' daughter rose from the dead (Matt. 9:18, 23-25 ); the
widow at Nain's son rose from the dead (Luke 7:11-15 ); and Lazarus rose from the dead ( John
11:43-44 ). All of these people ascended from death and all did so before Jesus. So why attribute
so much importance to the event. By the time Christ rose from the dead this was a rather common occurrance. Moreover, people not only before Jesus but after as well. Peter
raisedTabitha and Paul raised Eutychus.
While participating in a radio call-in program several years ago, the author was told by a caller
that, except for Jesus, all of the above-mentioned people eventually died again. But Paul clearly
asserted it's the Resurrection, per se, that matters not the fact Jesus never died again. The caller
was asked to cite a passage that justified his contention. There was no reply.
A second major difficulty associated with the Resurrection lies in the contradictory accounts in
the four gospels of what occurred. The following represent some of the major disagreements
surrounding the events connected with the Resurrection:
A. At what time in the morning did the women visit the tomb?- At the rising of the sun (Mark
16:2) vs. when it was yet dark (John 20:1)
B. Who came?- Mary Magdalene alone (John 20:1) vs. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary
(Matt. 28:1) vs. Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Salome (Mark 16:1) vs. Mary
Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James and other women (Luke 24:10)
C. Was the tomb opened or closed when they arrived? - Open (Luke 24:2) vs. closed (Matt 28:1-
2)
D. Whom did they see at the tomb?- The angel (Matt. 28:2) vs. a young man (Mark 16:5) vs. two
men (Luke 24:4) vs. two angels (John 20:11-12)
E. Were these men or angels inside or outside the tomb? -Outside (Matt. 28.2) vs. inside (Mark
16:5, Luke 24:3-4, John 20:11-12).
F. Were they standing or sitting? - Standing (Luke 24:4) vs. sitting (Matt. 28:2, Mark 16:5, John
20:12).
G. Did Mary Magdalene know Jesus when he first appeared to her?-Yes, she did (Matt. 28:9) vs.
no she did not (John 20:14).
If the stories were consistent, one could write one long continuous narrative incorporating all
four versions without fear of divergencies. Yet, this has never been done without adding, altering
or omitting key verses. Apologists often submit the witness-at-an-auto-accident argument which
is quite irrelevant since two diametrically opposed and mutually exclusive versions of the same
event can not be simultaneously accurate. One or the other is false. Moreover, witnesses at an
accident, unlike gospel writers, are not claiming inerrancy.
Thomas Paine summarized the relationship between the gospels quite well.
"...it is, I believe, impossible to find in any story upon record so many and such glaring
absurdities, contradictions, and falsehoods, as are in the books (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John).
They are more numerous and striking than I had any expectation of finding, when I began this
examination,..." (Age of Reason by Thomas Paine, page 167) ......................................
No human can know better than God.
Allah gives and takes knowledge alone amen
Adnan Rashid...Very knowing
Long live my messiah jesus pbuh my Mohammed pbuh i love ❤️
By the end Mr Green agrees that God will test us and Christ was tested despite of psalm promise. The point however is that he indirectly forgets that Christ is God for him.Contradictory.
My Bluetooth speaker burst out when Hatun started speaking.
Lol
Jesus ate fish and honey after crucifixion jesus never died says bible
just like one brother said, And many people will go to hell ya Allah.
Samuel green seems like a genuine human being
