I’ve used MSM for years and have grown my hair to waist length TWICE ! It’s very low effort. I just put a scoop of the powder in my orange juice every morning. As far as acne, maybe it depends on the brand you use. The brand I use from Amazon has cleared my acne. And based on the reviews, it’s cleared many others too.

I agree. I live in Korea now, but the first brand I got in America made my skins super clear and amazing! I got a new brand that a friend got me from Australia and I think it made me break out, so I took a break and my continue to take a lower dosage cut back on sugar and see if I can increase it again without acne this time.

I’m too lazy to take a supplement I have to work hard for (measuring mixing, etc). I can’t even take my vitamins consistently, and I need those for the health issues I have lol! I agree with you that hair health is the goal instead of length. Maybe we’re all not meant to have butt length hair? I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same lol 😂 when it comes to taking vitamins that why I promote a healthy diet and I agree I don’t even care about butt length hair just healthy moisturized hair is my goal🤎

A m s m really does work, but the only thing is is that it will literally make all of the hair on your body grow a lot longer and thicker, so if you have Chin hair is gonna make that shit hair grow longer.

A diet high in animal protein is crucial for healthy hair & body. However, your genetics dictate how long your hair will grow. My hair was thinning due to a poor diet high in sugar, carbs & processed foods. I went mainly carnivore & started taking collagen peptide powder daily. My hair thickened a ton but as far as length, there was some but my hair by nature grows extremely slow especially in the front. All the products in the world won’t grow my hair long. Some of you hit the genetic lottery for hair growth & some of us not so much but we’re grateful that we have healthy hair. I find I really have to focus on my own hair; I think my hair is not all that but when I wear my fro out people are always “impressed” with it. The journey has taught me to truly be grateful for a head full of healthy hair no matter the length.

Thank you for sharing and I agree genetics do play a portion that’s why always say we should prioritize health over length 🤎🤎🤎

Your genetic don’t dictate how LONG your hair grows. But it does play a role on how fast it grows.

@TheePrettyGirlSwag that's the limit you put on yourself and other BW will listen to that and do the same. Maybe you have some vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Some of them can't be tested Accurately through the blood

Yes yes… my hair grew inches when I went carnivore within about 2-3 months including protein and healthy animal fats, adding butter to my coffee etc and my nails became significantly stronger and longer. 🩷🩷🩷🩷 Meat like grass feed beef minus sugar and carbs like pasta and potatoes can literally heal your entire body.

The hair grows fast everywhere 😩 so more frequent shaving, waxing etc. I will only use it externally in a shampoo or conditioner

Rapid hair growth is definitely not a scam, but it does require lots of work. I’ve in a Facebook group and have seen regular people share their results after incorporating some of these practices. Some people got 2-3 inches a month (again with receipts). Obviously not everyone gets those results but they are possible.

Thanks for commenting …. I’m not saying black women growing long hair is a scam …I’m simply saying that suggesting a “overnight” type of magical pill to achieve waist length hair is a scam🤎
