@@gustavosalmeron2013 the battle theme was the only sub par thing about the game. Ohh and they couldn't fit Magus into the game.

It was the playstation’s hardware that was at fault. Going between field exploration to battle wasn’t as seamless as it was in chrono trigger on the snes. This problem was also unfortunately present in the ps1 version of chrono trigger. It really takes you out of the game, if you played trigger first. People who played Cross first probably won’t notice/care as much. That being said the music was as excellent as ever.

When I first saw that title Time's Scar, I was afraid that only 2 guitars were not enough to evoke all the beauty of the orchestra. After I listened to it, I couldn't be more glad that I was wrong. You guys really do bring out the whole music to life with just 2 guitars. Listening to this one made me guys respect you guys even more than what I initially did!! Keep up the good work.

You are absolutely right! I also thought "it's going to be crap or impossible with just 2 guitars" but I couldn't be more wrong! The arrangement and execution is simply perfect and brings out exactly what makes this piece so beautiful! For me, up to this day, this cover is the best, most perfect and absolutely essential cover of this track and the one compare all others to. I will even admit I've listened to this more times than the original!
I remember letting the ps1 loop at the tittle screen and this song used to make me emotional by how good it was! Remembering how much I enjoyed this song made me think back to a better time. Thank you!

I have never, ever played Chrono Cross, being a firm loyalist to Trigger. Every time someone tried to show me music from that game, I was all like "psssh. Ain't got nothin' on Trigger."

Chrono Cross is the greatest game of all time, the story is perfect, the fights are perfect, everything is just perfect. Its a shame it is so underrated
Story's definitely not perfect. It should've been a standalone game, but instead it's a poor/weird sequel.
