After having a Winchell’s donut house for sometime in the late 80’s, I have never acclimated to the full coating of glaze on the donuts. And then, they put icing and sprinkles on top of that? Too sweet!
I never realized that most Krispy Kreme donut stores don't have windows to let you watch. The one I go to lets you see the whole process, and it's sad that other people don't get to experience it

All my childhood and up to 62, I lived in the Raleigh/Durham area in North Carolina and from Junior High in Raleigh through the day I left to live in Hawaii, I celebrated Krispy Kreme with so many friends and family. Wonderful memories! Here on Hawaii Island, I have to travel many miles to even try to get them fresh. Ugh, ugh, ugh!!

Around a year ago or longer, I would have absolutely CRAVED those donouts after watching a video like this. But after around a year of eating super clean and healthy whole foods, with no added sugars of any kind or foods with artificially added sugars of any kind, no soft drinks whatsoever, no white flour/white bread and barely any/no processed foods, I dont actually crave them. Even though I gotta admit that they do look tasty, I learned enough about health, sugar and food that I know that those few moments of taste arent worth the damage that those "foods" (I dont consider stuff like Krispy Kreme donouts food anymore) do to your body, mind and brain. It feels amazing to not want those foods and not even have any craving for stuff like this anymore. It took a bit but its so so worth it :) No diabetus, plaque, overweight body, sugar-addicted brain, etc. for me :) I encourage everyone to do the same. There are a lot of delicious foods that are healthy. You dont need stuff like Krispy Kreme donouts, not even occassionally
